Showcasing scenic woodlands and a small creek, this sprawling property offers a peaceful and much needed escape from the everyday. Rest and recharge while enjoying your natural surroundings from the covered, wraparound porch and launch kayaks from the private boat slip to cruise the lake or hit a lakeside restaurant. Enjoy backyard barbecues with your own private grill.
The spacious, three-bedroom interior comes well-appointed for comfort with a cozy living area and a separate den with sofa, armchair, and smart TV for casual family lounging. (The fireplace is not operational.) The full kitchen comes equipped for home cooking with plenty of counter space, cookware, and major appliances and the sunny dining area can accommodate up to eight for sit-down meals. While still a work-in-progress, the basement sets the stage for at-home entertainment with foosball, darts, and a card table.

The scenery, ambience, and amenities were all excellent!!

The house is very spacious and we loved having the boat
Ramp to launch our boat.
The outside was nice with the camp fire.
Our kids loved using the kayak thanks for providing them.

Clean, spacious, plenty close enough to everything to enjoy a little getaway at the lake! Super quick walk down to the water where there's a dock you can use. Close enough to town to go get some food. But the best part is the acreage. It's pretty private, very quiet, and oh so lovely! Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make dinner in. Towels and linens provided. Great for a family with games and such in the basement. Highly recommend!

This place was as advertised. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Comfortable.

We had a great time! Short walk down the shared lane to the dock. Very spacious home with all that was needed.

This house was great! It was very clean and the kitchen was totally stocked with everything you might need. Two grills that were clean and ready to use. Every bathroom had soap, shampoo, and conditioner. It was even stocked with bed linens and bath towels! We were even offered an early check-in by 12:30pm. Would stay here again!

This place perfectly fit our needs!
Close to a boat rental place
Close to the sandbar
Close to the grocery store
No neighbors
Lots of privacy
The garage and basement are great empty space for games and activities.
Couldn't have asked for anything better!

We enjoyed our stay at Stubbs Sanctuary, which was quiet and remote. It had comfortable beds and furniture, all the amenities we needed and lots of places to walk our dog. While there was no view of the water (the dock is an easy drive away), the grounds were rolling and pretty. There were nice outdoor places (decks, fire pit) and several relaxing indoor spaces.

The property was remote and quiet, with rolling hills and great places to walk the dog. While there was no water view (the boat dock is an easy drive down the road), the trees and lawns were pretty and views from the large windows were nice. The beds were comfortable, there were two areas to relax (TV room and living room) and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had some difficulty accessing the key (the lock box required a code and then it stuck), and then the key required lifting up (and a different code) to enter. This was not clear in our instructions, and we had to get someone to assist us. That said, it only took moments and everyone was super nice.

Overall nice property. We had a great time and would come again. The fire pit and access to the kayaks was awesome. Our children had a great time fishing, playing at the lake and going into the woods.
Our only issue is that this owners uses Vacasa as its management company. We use VRBO as we like the personal torch and being able to communicate directly with the property owners about checking in and out. That was all lost as Vacasa is very cold and I felt like I was talking to a machine. I asked Vacasa two question before checking in, is there a fire pit and are the kayaks in the pictures available for use. Was told both on no accounts. As an FYI there is a firepit and there are 4 kayaks two adult and two kids as well as life jackets. Also Vacasa did not let us check into until 3:30 even though when we drove past the property much earlier in the day there was no one there. Seems like Vacasa's policy is no early check-ins which is hard when check in time is 4. Going forward we would not use a property managed by Vacasa. We would however stay at this house again if Vacasa was not the management company.
