This beautiful mountainside home will surely become a favorite getaway, in Ouray! Stunning outdoor spaces, with 2 decks and a beautiful creekside wood firepit offer a breathtaking view of surrounding forest and mountain peaks. A relaxing master bedroom with adjustable queen sized bed, a large master closet and en suite bathroom welcome guests after a day of adventure. The guest bedrooms, located on the home's lower level, are comfortable and spacious! One of the guest rooms boasts a king sized bed and walk out patio door. The other provides great sleeping space for additional guests, featuring twin bunk beds and a full sized bed. The spacious shared bath has a tub/shower combo and is just outside the king guest bedroom. The upstairs of the home features spectacular views and a beautiful deck space. The kitchen is a wonderful size, with all of the amenities you'll need to cook a great meal! It's open to the living room with a gas fireplace and dining room to offer great entertaining space! Within walking distance to some of Ouray's most beautiful hiking trails; It is a steep, but beautiful hike.

Bed Configuration:
Master Bedroom- Queen Adjustable Bed with En Suite Bath (main level)
2nd Bedroom- King Bed (lower level)
3rd Bedroom- Twin Bunks and Full Sized Bed (lower level)

The home is dog friendly (2 dogs max), and the pet fee is $40/day (Max $250).

Other wonderful amenities the home features are a washer and dryer, propane grill, and wood firepit.

This beautiful home is located in the canyon overlooking Ouray. 4WD vehicles REQUIRED for winter access (November- April).

Onsite parking is limited. There is space for 2 vehicles maximum in the driveway and there is no trailer parking at this home. Parking for trailers is located in town off of 9th Ave.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Awesome place to stay. We had 8 people and one draw back was having only 1 towel for each person for the 4 nights we stayed. Would like to have more towels and more trash sacks. We only had 3 sacks, 8 people produce trash. Family wished that the TV was bigger and placed above the fireplace. We watched the Olympic tryouts. It was a wonderful place to stay and if we go back, would love to rent this again. Close to town, but felt like we were all by ourselves. Wonderful home.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Me and my famiky had a balst and made lots of memories. Your property was amazing and very comfortable and relaxing. My 13 year old son loved playing in the river, and us adults love being by the fire and listening ti the river. I left a thank you gift on the kitchen counter

I wanted remote location, and this place certainly is, yet super close to town. What amazed me was the everchanging snow melt river, constantly changing the landscape throughout our stay. The property managers were always communicative throughout our stay.

Central heat not working. Whole house reeked of pet urine. No cable/satellite TV. House was not clean; toilets dirty and cobwebs everywhere. House had nothing to offer. Property manager was very helpful and moved us to another property.

Kitchen and laundry cleaning supplies were plentiful. Such a beautiful location with a waterfall just right outside the door! A friendly neighbor nearby informed us that a flash flood that happened recently made the waterfall even bigger and the sound outside our door because of it was a dream. I truly didn’t want to leave the patio! Patio heater, grill and a fireplace below made the outdoor experience wonderful. In better words- this stay was beyond our expectations! Thank you so much for having us!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was very nice and in a very secluded quiet area. It was a little difficult to get to. We had been told that the furnace and fireplace had a service maintenance check before we arrived. However, the furnace did not work. It was mid September, and the night temperature was 40 degrees. The fireplace kept the upstairs warm, but the lower level was cold. We reported it the next day, and a service guy came out, and couldn't get the furnace to work. He bought 2 floor heaters for the downstairs bedrooms, which did help the 2nd night.The upstairs was very nice and clean. Our biggest complain was the downstairs had a terrible pet urine odor. We do not have pets, and do not want to stay in an area where pets have been allowed. So next time we will make sure to book a place where no pets are allowed.

The cabin was very welcoming and roomy. Within 2 minute drive down you're right on the main strip in Ouray. Very nice neighbor. The stream right next to the cabin was great background noise throughout the stay. The firepit out back is equipped well and a very nice relaxing area. The decks were spacious and even had little dog gates which was great! Overall wonderful stay in a lovely cabin for families!

We had my wife and myself, 2 teenagers and my parents. Everyone thought the house was great. This house is in the foothills in Ouray and has two nice decks overlooking the stream below. It isn’t air conditioned but stayed cool even in the 90 degree heat! We loved how close it was to the perimeter trail and Box Canyon. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Enjoyed using the brand new gas grill as well.

The house location is awesome! Loved listening to the river. The space was adequate and the kitchen was very well stocked. The only complaint I had was the small refrigerator. There is room for a full size fridge, so I’m not sure what the story is there. I was feeding 7 adults for a week, and we could not pile everything in that little fridge. It was very frustrating. Plus, some things froze and others spoiled. The house desperately needs a new full size refrigerator/freezer. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Came back to Ouray where my late husband and I lived in the 1990s. The house was high in the mountains on the west side of town and good thing I had all wheel drive and knew how to use gears to slow car. There is one sharp turn (called a switchback in mountain driving). Enjoyed the stay very much as the setting was quiet away from the noise in town. Scenery outstanding.
