Air conditioner was a portable one and it did not get the room below 25 and some nights it hit 29 at night when we were sleeping also never got a remote for the tv ask but well not much customer service so no tv for 3 days good we had our phones with lots of data With this review I will assume I will not receive my 200 dollar deposit back but I had to say something

Great place

First room, the swipe key on door worked sporadically, tv did not work, and phone did not work. Smelled somewhat musty. Switched to second room, where the door lock, tv and phone worked, but still musty, and tv off to side, so had to sit on side of bed to see tv.

Friendly staff, very clean for the most part, surprisingly quiet for being above the street, and overall not a bad place for the money. Parking was free, but was further than the 33ft it said on the site, actual distance was about half a block.

Staff were amazing! All of them were friendly, kind and helpful. I could set the a/c the temperature I liked and no issues with it. Beds were firm, which I like. Just be aware that if your room on the street side then there is a loud bar just across the road and down. Definitely request a back-facing room. Parking is down the street and around the corner (very short distance) at public parking and the hotel will give you a parking pass. There is a nice Indian restaurant right next door and other ones within walking distance. Would recommend.

the lobby has a vintage charm and the fire place is a nice touch, nothing spectacular but nothing was horrible. The best part is that it’s right in the middle of town and welcoming

Had a great stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the property is well maintained. It’s properly in downtown Peterborough on one of the main streets so easy access to everything, including public transport. Bonus is that they serve the continental breakfast until 10am.

Perfect for what we needed. Just a place to sleep for the night after a concert. Room was spacious, check in/out was quick

The jacuzzi was nice. The tired finishes werent

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely large room facing the main road which unfortunately at night is used as a speedway. The room was clean but in need of a sprucing up. The curtains were missing some hooks and not easy to open. Lot’s of unhoused persons in the area pleading for money, sleeping on the sidewalks, etc.

Air was not cold beds were hard

Our ceiling in our room had leaked and the ceiling near the window was badly damahed by wayer and falling in. The toilet around the rim was black woth dirt and the towels were grey not white

Did not like offsite parking arrangements and door bolt lock did not work. (Reported)

Excellent staff

Firstly the three staff members I dealt with were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. I also really appreciated the discount that you get at local restaurants when staying there, a really fantastic perk. The room itself was disappointing. As many reviews have said it seriously needs updating and probably a good scrub. The curtain in my bedroom was dirty and also partly hanging off and didn't cover the a good chunk of the window. I'm surprised house cleaning just left it like that. To be fair to the hotel, I didn't say anything as I was only staying one night and needed to work in my room so didn't want to have to leave while they fixed - if they could. I also don't need complete darkness to sleep but it would have been a problem if I did and really it's just not what you expect when paying for a room. Staying here one or two nights for work is fine, but I wouldn't want to stay longer honestly. Mixed review - if only the facilities were as good as the staff they hire!

Friendly and helpful front desk, very good location, lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance but the hotel is a bit rundown. It's an old hotel and it has large rooms with plenty of space and will equipped, i.e coffee microwave etc but it is old and a bit rough looking. You could probably find a better place for the same price but not as good location.

Older facility in downtown core. No parking at hotel, parked a block away in a city garage. No charge on week ends. Breakfast was good with cereal, yogurt, bagel, fruits and toast. Good coffee too.

It's alright motel for Peterborough compared to some others. However do to it's location and some older clients, it's not the best for kids. The staff is understanding and great. Price is well worth what you get.

Property is dated but family suite was a great size, comfortable and all that we needed. Staff were excellent.

I’ve stayed here a ton in the past and although the hotel is rather dated, my stays were fine. In this instance, however, I’m convinced that a member of the staff tried to steal my AirPods. I didn’t even stay in the hotel, but left my things there. A suitcas3, along with my keys, inhaler and AirPods in one little pile. I told the hotel in the morning that I didn’t stay, so if they needed the room they could just bring my things to the front desk. When I arrived everything was there at the front desk, except the AirPods. I checked the room and they were not where I left them. The front desk person was rather unhelpful and elusive, especially when he realized I could track them and see them moving around the hotel. It wasn’t until about a minute after I went to my car that he called and said a maid went and checked my room, found them under the bed and brought them down to the front desk, all in that short time span. The fact that I could see them moving completely negates his claim that they were stationary under the bed. When confronted about the situation his attitude was one of indifference, saying something along the lines of “well you have them now, so what’s the problem”. Crooks working here. Would not recommend.

The property was convenient to the downtown. There were several spots to park to unload and check in and then parking was in near by parking garage. The lobby was clean and inviting. The particular room we stayed in was not clean, there were glasses of water on counter and no towels. This was remedied when I spoke with front desk, the room was average although the walls need to be painted as there are marks and stains and the bathroom updated. Overall for the price and location it was adequate.

The pop machine did not work. Tv did not work.room was ok. Evening front desk man was accommodating. Parking was too far away and inconvenient. Advertized breakfast but was just basic toast, poor coffee, buns and bagels. You get what you pay for and the price is cheap.

Staff were nice but facility and rooms were very dated and as others have mentioned “tired”. A/C unit in window was very loud and wifi in room was not very good. Could not hear tv with A/C unit on but after about 15 minutes of reading closed captions the signal went off so we could look at the tv anyway. Great location though if you want to be close to everything downtown.
