This stylish light-filled two bedroom, two bathroom space is perfect for groups looking for a luxurious getaway in the sky in the heart of downtown Chicago. Centrally located in a historic building close to everything you want to visit, this is the best location in the city!
The Space:
Located on a high floor in a secure, high-end building in the heart of Chicago! Once inside, you're greeted by an airy space with beautiful wood floors and large windows on multiple sides overlooking Lake Michigan, the city skyline, and the neighborhood below. The views are fabulous both during the day and at night!
Interior design is a passion of ours and the chic furnishings reflect that! There is fast internet, a 50" smart TV with Roku, and comfortable modern furniture to lounge on.
The kitchen and living room are open and spacious. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and all the tools you need to cook a great meal. We have 2 counter stools for the granite kitchen island and a small dining table. Plenty of room to dine comfortably or to use as a workspace.
For each guest, the comfortable beds have crisp, clean linens and the bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and bath products. Sleeping arrangements are as follows:
Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Queen bed
Living Room: Full size sleeper sofa
We also provide towels, iron, cleaning supplies, etc. and you have full access to the in-unit washer and dryer. The apartment has ample closet space throughout.
The building has a 24 hour doorman and great amenities including a gym, a club room lounge area, a convenience store, a gourmet coffee shop, and a speakeasy cocktail bar.
Guest Access:
You'll have complete and private access to our apartment and the building's shared amenities and retail spaces.
The Neighborhood:
The Loop is the heart of Chicago and the most central location in the entire city! You are surrounded by world-class architecture, shopping, theaters, parks, and other sites. From our place you can quickly walk to Millennium Park, the lakefront, the Chicago Riverwalk, the Art Institute, Grant Park, the Magnificent Mile, and so much more. The Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium are just a 5 minute ride or a scenic walk along the lakefront. Oak Street for luxury shopping and the West Loop restaurant row for world class dining are only 5 minutes away as well!
Getting Around:
Our place is surrounded by trains that will quickly take you anywhere in the city you want to go! Uber and Lyft are also available 24/7. You'll have no trouble getting around without a car. Directly next to our building are stops for all of the city's main train lines (Blue, Red, Brown, Pink, Orange, and Green lines), making it extremely easy to get to O'Hare and Midway Airports and other parts of the city such as the West Loop, Lincoln Park, McCormick Place, Old Town, Wicker Park, Logan Square, etc.
Parking is not included with our listing, but there are many convenient and secure parking garages close to our building (within a couple blocks). Nearby garages include 318 S Federal St, 64 W Van Buren St, and many others. I suggest using SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book discounted parking. You can usually find reasonable overnight parking for $15 to $30.
Other Things to Note:
Although located on a high floor, this property still receives some ambient noise from the nearby L train, which is normal for apartments in downtown Chicago. We provide ear plugs and noise machines for light sleepers.
Dogs allowed with prior approval only. Please inquire about breed restrictions. 35 pound weight limit. $35/night per pet fee applies. Unauthorized pets will incur a $500 fee.

This is a beautiful condo in the heart of Chicago. The view was spectacular, the kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We were very close to public transportation and used it every day. There is a Target close by to get the necessities. The 7-11 is close, but very expensive. The management was great to work with. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful condo.

Very clean, prompt cleaning staff, convenient location

Overall, our stay was okay, but we ended up leaving a day early due to safety concerns and cleanliness issues. The location did not feel safe for two women, which was a significant drawback. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. There was hair from previous guests all over the floor, in the shower, and in the bedroom. We even found a sock left in the dryer. My guest also reported feeling gnats and debris in her bed, which made the stay uncomfortable. We were not pleased with our experience.

Secure, clean, and stunning corner unit in the heart of the loop. Worked great for a remote work space for the day as well as a home away from home! The team at Staywell was quick and communicative, sending detailed information ahead of time. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to anyone planning a trip downtown.

My wife, our two grandkids, and I had a lovely weekend at this apartment in Chicago. Nicely appointed, stunning views. Fantastic hosts who responded quickly to all our inquiries. Some noise (but manageable) due to the nearby El. We would definitely consider staying again.

Everything was great about our visit to Chicago. The property was exactly as we needed and met our needs perfectly. The concierge team was phenomenal. They were so friendly, their recommendations were amazing, they knew the neighborhood well, and always greeted us with warmth when we came in and out.

Was a convenient location and nicely kept. The heat system was a little challenging but we got a rapid response from manager.

Convenient to everything, nice facilities and fantastic views. A little rough block and sits right above the L.

Overall very happy with our stay, building and apartment we’re great. The area outside of the building had some loitering.

Came for a convention. The apartment is located on the loop close to shopping, restaurants and museums. Easily walkable with Uber filling the gaps. We enjoyed the view and took a lot of nice pictures. Despite it being very cold outdoors, the apartment was always warm even with the heat turned off. My mother really loved the apartment and visited the art institute of Chicago museum twice.

Amazing apartment. Beds are very comfortable, cool views and proximity to so many things. We would come back here for sure.

The property is in an ideal location. Able to see the lake. Coffee shop on the lower floor of the building. The unit was 85 degrees at check-in. Emailed the property owner and never got a response. Had to leave windows open in December when we were present to keep the unit close to comfortable. If the temperature controls are working I would give the unit five stars.

Location here was great. Two very functional bedrooms. One has the bath ensuite and the other you have to walk across the apartment for - but all workable. The building is very friendly to VRBO so the checkin is easy as you work directly with the building. Only real concern we had was the temperature and noise. We were there in early November and while technically the building heat wasn't on, our apartment got very hot. We had to either open windows at night or run the AC units. Both ways you ended up with a lot of noise (they have earplugs available in apt - but its not a very comfortable way to sleep).

Beautiful place, great views of Lake Michigan and grant park.

The apartment was great. Good location for trains , all things downtown.

Beautiful views of the city and Lake Michigan. Everything we needed for a family getaway.

The apartment is conveniently located in the loop. You can walk to many attractions as well as to the cta and metra. It was immaculately clean when we arrived. The concierges were knowledgeable and eager to help. I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Chicago.,

Loved the light that overflowed in the apartment, which was perfect for the 3 of us. The location was perfect! The view of the lake was super special!

Great unit in a very central location for seeing the sites in downtown Chicago. Comfortable beds and good AC on a hot weekend were appreciated!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The location is central and easy walking distance to many things. The check in process was seamless. And the apartment is well maintained, well stocked and very comfortable. The property manager was very responsive and easy to work with. We were concerned that parking might be a hassle, but we rented a space in the South Loop garage through iParkit and it easy. Very short walk, and can go in and out as needed.

I really enjoyed my stay in the old Fisher Building. It's a really cool old building that harkens back to simpler times. The location was perfect, just 2 blocks from the lakefront parks. Also close to restaurants. It's in a busy area so the train and traffic noise was present, but too bad and to be expected. The apartment inside was clean and had everything you could need. The views are great too. Both bedrooms have super comfortable beds, and there was provisions to keep the place really comfortable in terms of temperature. Overall nice stay!

We enjoyed a few nights in Chicago with family. This rental is perfect for two couples or a family of four, who want to avoid the hotel scene. Great views and location and no hassles getting in or out. Would stay here again on future visits.

The apartment has everything we needed.. And nice quality as well. Kitchen was well stocked, laundry was easy to use and location was fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to Chicago to stay.

Great place for 2 families to reconnect. Easy access to train, L and the most wonderful, friendly concierges.
Good kitchen, but you need to bring any supplies I.e., oil, spices if you want to cook. Booking people were supposed responsive.

The pictures in the listing are completely accurate but this apartment is so much more beautiful in real life! A kitchen with everything you need, and all the comfort and beauty you could want plus breathtaking views (including of the water) from the bedrooms and living room. And the windows open, so you can enjoy fresh air, which I find quite rare in short-term properties! The building itself is an exquisite piece of architecture, beautifully renovated. The hosts were incredibly quick to respond to anything I needed. The train is two minutes away but unlike others hav reported, I wasn't at all disturbed by any noise (though the rooms stay light with the blinds down, so if you need darkness to sleep, bring an eye mask). All in all, I couldn't have loved it more.

Loved this cozy, historic condo and building. Such a cute condo in a great location and the views were amazing. . Easy access to the train. The bellmen at the front door were so friendly and really made our vacation. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Chicago!

The property is very convenient for a group of 4. It is right next to the subway and is in a nice part of the city. The views from this place are pretty amazing. Very spacious in terms of a living room and decent kitchen considering it is an apartment style property.
