villa Roussa, for 2-3 night stay is convenient and great. Behind bus station and close to all restaurants and shopping. Not a fancy place but for the price is just right. the front desk host is great and friendly. Just remember to call if you are arriving late, it is not a 24 hr front desk. Overall for a budget conscious travel is a great choice.

This place was close to the bus station, which we needed as we were arriving by air at near 11pm and didn’t reach our hotel until near midnight. A staff member was still waiting for us when we arrived, which was nice. The room was clean, small and outdated but adequate for one night. We were able to leave our bags at reception until leaving on the ferry next afternoon. The different staff we encountered on reception were pleasant and helpful. Being next to the bus station and main streets meant that it was noisy with people coming and going and sometimes shouting until very early in the morning. It was expensive for what we got compared to many other places in Greece but then this is Santorini which is an expensive island wherever you stay.

The Villa Roussa was perfect for my short stay in Santorini. It is located just behind the bus station (2 min walk), which is incredibly convenient (and the reason I booked the hotel). The bus is easy to catch to and from the airport and Oia, for only €1.60 cash (no card). The building was hard to find, as it is in a side street, but I called the property manager when I arrived and he met me and showed me the way. After delayed/missed flights, he was very accommodating, ensuring he met my check in time when I finally arrived at 10pm. The main street was still buzzing, and I felt safe, as an alert single female, going to get dinner when I arrived. The building is a bit dated, but it’s fine if you’re not fussy. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Air conditioning was a great to get relief from the Santorini heat. Would definitely stay here again.

A really convenient stop for my first night in Santorini right by the bus stop! Which means no hills and no awkward cobbled streets to navigate.
Reception staff super friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Location was perfect just a few steps from the bus and a short 2 minute walk from all the action. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Santorini.

Spectacular view of the New Port and the sea. Perfect for viewing the sunsets over the water with islands in the distance. Clean, fresh, airy, quiet, well maintained hotel apartment. Friendly service. Ten minute walk to SeaBus or public bus and a quick ride to the Old Port or downtown Mykonos. The hotel is on a hill. It is a bit of a climb up from the public bus or Sea Bus after spending the day in town. You can avoid the climb by taking a taxi back.

This place got me to cough quite a lot and some of the walls do look moldy. The bed is way too soft for sleeping.

Location is great in that it us right in town. Bed was very comfortable. Room was very small and not the best shower. Had to fix toilet a couple times. Friends stayed in a much nicer hotel for about the same money.

The place is clean and has very nice rooms. It is next to the taxis, 2 minutes from central bus station, has everything surrounding it and its a 3 minute walk to the caldera. I would say among the best situated little hotels in Fira if you do not wish to overpay for the view. Room was large , clean, comfortable beds, had a/c, hair dryer, tv, moneybox. Big shower area and wc. It also had a small veranda with table and chairs. I was very happy and I will be going back next time!

A very modest hotel ,clean, expensive for what it offers but close to the center of Fira although you have to climb stairs or a hill to go to the center of town.
The personnel is quite cooperative. The room offers you the basics nothing more but is very clean.
Unfortunately there is no view

Very good staff but the hotel was a bit noisy as we were lodging on the ground floor.

It is biside the bus station, so it is very convenient to move to Oia and airport. Wifi does not work well.

The mini-pool on the roof was alright. The cleaning lady came in almost everyday to clean our room, but we let her know when she didn't really need to. I'd call the cleaning a bit excess only because they would take all the towels too when in my opinion it's not really necessary. Wifi could have been better on a few days and maybe 2-3 times it went completely out. It's right next to a big parking lot, the bus station, and the best Gyro place in all of Santorini, trust me, we tried soooo many (we were there for 18 days), it's called "Lucky's" and it's literally the first spot you see when walking towards the Fira center from the hotel.

The hôtel lobby was closed when I got there and I had to go knock at a locals house to have her call the hotel manager that luckily she new. Not ideal for someone who would have been less invasive than myself.
The staff in the morning was however very lovely and present.

Upon arrival, Villa Roussa had no rooms and offered us a room at a significantly inferior hotel down the street (Hotel Santorini, I think, but half of the pics online dont match where we stayed). Hotel had no amenities, tiny beds, smelled strongly of tobacco, and erratic front desk hours. Were fairly price conscious and not that picky about the room quality, so in the end knocking the price from seventy-five to sixty a night for a 4 person room was OK (still not a great deal, but the location was good; we had to be firm and persistent and a man to get them to budge on price). It was a highly uncomfortable situation, a disappointing welcome to our vacation splurge and was the ONLY friction on our entire month long trip in Greece and Turkey... (Also, hands down the worst hotel we stayed in, though in planning we thought it would be the nicest.)

Very quiet and pleasant. The room was very warm and clean. The location is excellent and very near to the Caldera in Fira and the Bus station, taxi service and travel information including ferries and other amenities like restaurants. There is no room service and the reception closes at 8pm but the room gets clean everyday. Recommended!

We were put in another hotel for the first night because we were told our room wasn't available. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet and in a good location.

Pleasant experience in all, handy to explore and walk around Fira

Great location near bus station and walking distance to sights out of the heavy tourist area of Santorini. Recommend highly for the rate, cleanliness of room and friendly staff. Can't recommend Santorini as it's too touristy and overpriced in general.

Hotel is convenient and comfortable. It's close to everything in Fira. Room was small but clean.
