We were welcomed by Efi's lovely mum, Toula. This family run hotel is a gem. Everything worked - fridge, kettle, hairdryer,
hot shower, etc and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't need the airconditioning but the balcony was great and the clothes airer a bonus. The water comes from a desalination plant so we used bottled water ( the small supermarket was only 2 mins away). The bus station is only 10-15 mins walk - easier downhill through the quaint alleyways) and you can access the airport, Oia and beaches for only 2 euros each way. We ate at Taverna Simos fown the road where the local food was very good.
Argonaftes is full of character and original artwork ( from Efi's Dad ). It is a lovely place to stay in Santorini.

Host is extremely helpful with amazing food recommendations, the room was clean and spacious. It’s located in Firostefani, around 10 minutes walk from the main Fira tourist area. Host also arranged a cheap car rental for us.

Terrific stay, very friendly and accommodating family run business. Effi (host) and her mother were both inviting and you feel like part of the family. Effi was very helpful in planning our activities. Location is perfect for visiting all areas of the island. Quick walk to Fira, also a short walkable distance to the bus stop and to the caldera walkway with all the shops and restaurants. Definitely will stay here again.

So glad we found this hotel! The staff is so welcoming and helpful, they gave us all the information we need to experience Santorini and we’re happy to help in any way. The property itself was very clean and in the perfect location, less than a 5 minute walk to Fira!

A nice place, a short walk away from everything. Owners were lovely and friendly. I liked the interesting art on the walls too. Also close to a pretty sunset view spot.

Family owned property. Mother, daughter and son help run this place. Truly amazing and genuinely happy to have people staying there. They reached out and helped us with airport transfer and transfer any other time we needed it - to ferry, ect. The other spent time going through some of her favorite places on a map and recommendations, while the daughter does all the coordination and is very quick to respond to any inquiries. About a 5 minute walk into the the town of Thira - very easy and nice to be out just far enough outside of the loud town. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely place and super friendly family running it. Room was spacious and beautifully appointed. Quiet and relaxing. Only note is about Google Maps -- it will direct you to the top where there's no entrance -- walk down the hill two streets and turn left.

Superb budget hotel that ticks every box in the book. Efi at the front desk is superbly polite, speaks perfect English and is most helpful to make your stay on Santorini as perfect as it can be. The wi-fi is excellent the rooms are superbly appointed and clean and I have no doubt for the money they represent the best value on the island. I would not hesitate to come back here in an instant and highly recommend the hotel. Thank you so much for making our bucket list Santorini experience so memorable. She even went out of her way to lend us an umbrella when we had a brief downpour. Special mention also goes out to our cleaner who did a great job every day keeping our room spotlessly clean.

Really nice people. Good value. If you are like us and can't afford the extraordinary rates needed for a caldera view, but still want a sea view (on the other side) and be close to town - this is a great option.

We had an excellent stay. Efi, the daughter who runs the operations, contacted us shortly after booking our stay to inform us of our transportation options to reach the hotel from the port. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the mother and father. The family proved to be great hosts with their friendly charm and great recommendations on restaurants, things to do, and how to get around the island. Our rooms was spacious, clean, and had a balcony with a nice west-facing view. We were also very happy with the hotel location - it is Firostefani, which is about a 10 minute walk north of Fira center. The property was quiet, but lots of things to do within a two minute walk.

Mrs. Toula and her husband Mr, Lefteris were very warm and friendly (and their little Toto dog too). Mr. Lefteris talked as much or as little as you wanted about all the paintings he'd done to decorate the hotel. Mrs. Toula gave directions to all the sights and shortcuts to the main town/main square (a 5 minute walk down, 7-10 minute walk up - so many nice places to see along the main road).
