Loved the property. Was large enough to house our extended family for new years. Clean, stocked with everything we needed and kids loved the lake and bonfire fun.

This place and the hosts are over achievers. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The home is beautiful, the scenery and grounds were spectacular and the owners were amazing. We hosted family and friends for a wedding here and enjoyed fire pits at night, paddle boating and kayaking in the lake, grilling out and serving 30 or so folks over the weekend. Many extras were so kindly provided by the hosts that I was not expecting - spices, popcorn, serving dishes, coffee, trial size toiletries, tablecloths…I could go on. The hosts dropped by to provide fire starters when they noticed us trying to start a fire. They are genuinely lovely people! Would definitely recommend and would 100% rent here again!

Hosts are super thoughtful in that they provide so many extra amenities like toiletry kits in all the bathrooms, laundry detergent/softener/sanitizer, coffee starter kit…on and on! The kayaks are super fun. Everything was clean and really great! Our party of 20 women had a wonderful stay and plan to return!

We were a party of 20 women (25-75), and this house absolutely suited everyone’s needs! Plenty of first floor rooms for those who needed avoid stairs. Lots of outdoor seating, the kayaks were a great amenity! Kitchen exceptionally stocked, lots of hospitality extras like toiletries, coffee supplies, and laundry detergent. Even with the other rentals nearby it was so peaceful. We hope to return!

We stayed 3 nights for a family wedding at Blackberry Ridge, which was only 7 minutes away. Right off the bat this was super convenient so we could be available to help our relatives with setup and cleanup at the venue. You’ve got to drive past some rather dilapidated properties to get there, but that in no way affects the awesomeness of this property. The lake is lovely and has a path around it. Because of the weather we couldn’t enjoy the boats or fire pit, but they looked nice! The house itself is incredibly well appointed. Lots of little amenities provided for (toiletries, detergent, trash bags, etc.) so you aren’t either lugging lots with you or having to purchase these items for a short stay. Very well stocked kitchen for any cooking needs. Towels were soft and plentiful. The beds were quite comfy and plush. We hadn’t realized that the master bedroom has a crib in it, which was awesome for our 5 month old. We didn’t have to use the pack n play we brought! Also, one of the living room recliners also rocks, which was clutch for the little one. I think the only (incredibly minor) “negatives” were that the water pressure was less than we are used to (but still totally workable), and that it was tough to plug your own charging cables in in the bedrooms. It often either required moving furniture or unplugging something to make sure we could charge our devices. Again, totally workable but I might suggest the property owners invest in some power strips or something similar!

The property was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the small lake for fishing and kayaking. The house accommodations fit our family well. We enjoyed meals together in the renovated garage area. Our one displeasure was the lawn care gentleman who mowed, weed whipped and blew the cutting 3 days in a row right outside the bedroom windows starting as early as 7:30am. This made vacation sleep in very difficult. Overall one our best family vacations.

We could not be more pleased with this beautiful home and generous hosts!
When we arrived we were so in awe of the whole place. We appreciate the welcome basket with goodies! Beautiful rooms, view, and location- on a mountain! Tons to do on site- fire pit, corn hole, horse shoes, hike around lake, lovely rooms to relax. Best of all is a cozy “event” room where we set up puzzles, Lego builds, and games- we LOVED that big room!
The kitchen was stocked SO well! This is a huge deal to me- sturdy beautiful pans, griddle, crock pot, toaster oven, plenty of plates, bowls, silverware, cleaning supplies- (dish detergent, dishwasher tabs, paper towels, counter spray) foil, hand mixer, spices, coffee and tea station- with mugs with different sayings on them so you can keep track of your drink!
Bathrooms had a travel kits for us- super handy and appreciated!
We cannot recommend this place more! We will always cherish our time and memories here.

It is a very amazing place to stay. There is a lot of beds and spaces inside. Outside there are a lot of activities you can do. Very good for family and friends to enjoy the time together! Highly recommend!
