This property was perfect for our family size! It was clean, stocked with things that some just aren’t making it truly a breeze when traveling with kids or in general. The location was perfect for us being just down the road from the wedding venue we attended. The view was beautiful too from the back deck. All the communication leading up to our stay was thorough as well as the check in and check out procedures. Thank you for making this such a smooth process and wonderful experience.

The house: It's absolutely lovely and immaculately clean with a tremendous view from the back porch looking east toward Zion National Park. It never got old. There was more than enough room for our family of four. The primary suite has a lovely bath and shower and walk-in closet plus plenty of drawer space. Our son and daughter each had their own room in their own wing of the house. The kitchen has everything you need and everything is located where it's supposed to be. They even left water bottles in the refrigerator, plus other essentials like coffee pods and creamer, ketchup and other condiments, etc. The washer and dryer were modern. Even the toilet paper was good quality.
Having a garage was a major bonus in the summer heat and a mudroom to leave your dirty shoes after a long day on the trails.
Location: Wonderful location as long as you don't mind a short, 15 min drive into Springdale to get to Zion. LaVerkin and Hurricane are just a short drive in the other direction and have some good options for dining and a well-stocked supermarket. If you want to walk to restaurants and shops, this isn't the place. But if you want a quiet retreat with all the comforts of home, where you can take undisturbed morning walks down to a lovely nature preserve by the Virgin River, this is the place.
The host: Shelley was a great communicator who emailed in the days leading up to our visit with lots of excellent recommendations.

Location: This home is nicely situated about 15 to 20 minutes from the entrance to Zion National Park and the town of Springdale in one direction and about 10 to 15 minutes from the town of Hurricane in the other. It was nice and quiet and peaceful but not too far from restaurants and shopping.
View: There is a large back deck with views of the mountains and Zion National Park. I got up early to watch the sunrise come over the mountains multiple times (and I am not a morning person). Also...because it isnt in a large town there are plenty of stars out at night.
House: The house itself is really nice. Bedrooms are good size and the open kitchen, dining room, and living room setup was perfect for hanging out with the family. The furniture was very comfortable and the house had everything that we needed. In addition, it was very clean.
Communications / Host: In a word...fantastic! We received a lot of information about the area, where to eat, and where to shop. Instructions for the house were received in plenty of time and easy to follow.
When my travels bring me to Zion National Park again I know where I will be staying. Highly recommended!

This was the cleanest vacation rental we've ever stayed in. Lots of extra amenities provided that aren't usually offered; coffee, creamer, bottles of water. Beds were comfortable as well. Zion was just a short drive away and the views no matter where you drive to are beautiful. There was a grocery store just 8 minutes away which was nice since we prefer to cook some meals while we're on vacation. All the cooking tools you would need provided and a nice grill on the balcony. Overall, this was a very nice home and we had a good stay here.
One drawback was that I did not notice that in the description when booking that the owner lived in the basement, I found out from the email I got with check in instructions. While we did not see or hear anyone during our stay, it was a little off putting to find the entrance to the "downstairs apartment" was inside the house. It did give us an uneasy feeling. It would have been better if the inside entrance was closed off.

The property itself was beautiful and BIG. The house was appointed with items that you normally wouldn't be supplied with: k-cups, creamers, ziploc bags, etc. Location is excellent as it sits in a smaller, very quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from Springdale and Zion NP.
Unfortunately there were a couple smalls things and 1 big thing that lowered our opinion.
1. the master bedroom desperately needs a blackout curtain in addition to the pleated shades. It got BRIGHT as soon as the sun peaks above the horizon.
2. The Nest thermostat is permanently set at 74. you can adjust it and it will stay for 2 hours then reverts back to the 74 setting. During the hottest months of the year, or during a heatwave like we encountered, it never got to our preferred temp until the middle of the night.
3. The property manager needs to communicate better with renters. We had a maintenance person bring by some ice and bottled water and show up un-announced. He opened the garage door and let himself in the back door to put the ice in the fridge. I think the effort was genuine and there was no bad intent but this could have gone very badly in other circumstances. This is the first time in years of renting through this website that this has ever happened.

We were so very pleased with the home. Truly beautiful views, all the comforts of home. Pleasantly surprised that the home was stocked with almost everything one could need on vacation. We enjoyed grilling out and playing card games after a long day in the park. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you!!

We had a wonderful family reunion within spitting distance to Zion National Park. This house was perfect. We especially enjoyed barbecues on the deck after a day of hiking.

The house was perfect for heading over to Zion and other parks. Great views from the deck in the morning and evening to bookend our days. House was very well appointed with everything you'd need, including kitchen and bathroom supplies. Host was responsive to questions and helping us to plan our visit. Don't be spooked by the owner living on the first floor; couldn't really tell he was there. Couldn't have been better!

The house was clean with plenty of space for my family of four. We could have been comfortable with another family of four traveling with us. The location was great and close to anything we needed. Not too far from Zion or the town of Hurricane for groceries. The owner was thoughtful and had a welcome gift, coffee, water bottles, and other things that made the trip easier. I would stay here again if we return to the area.

A wonderful, well thought out and well maintained house that truly makes you feel at home away from home. The condition of the house is impeccable. A perfect location for visiting Zion and other attractions in the area. Spectacular views from the porch are an added bonus.

Our stay here was PERFECT! From beginning to end, this stay was everything we wanted and needed. The house was very clean and felt like being at home. Its location was nice to be close to amenities but out of the hustle of town. We couldn’t have asked for anything else for our stay! Rent this place and you won’t regret it for a second!!

My family and I absolutely loved staying at this home. The location was awesome as well as the views. We arrived Christmas Eve 2023. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed to prepare Christmas dinner. The owner is very generous, he provided many things that I have not seen in other VRBO’s. There were plenty of paper products, coffee, spices, bottled water, toiletries, etc. Very thoughtful!! I have never seen this in all the years I have been renting vacation homes. Normally, it’s a couple K cups and a roll of TP & paper towels. But not at this house it was above and beyond.
I had several questions for the owner. He was very responsive. I really appreciated all the advice and tips he provided. I was also pleasantly surprised at how clean this house is. I plugged my phone in behind the nightstand, and there wasn’t a speck of dust on the baseboard. Every inch of the house was clean. I highly recommend renting this property. It was so quiet and peaceful as well as all the other other things I mentioned. It truly was an amazing vacation. Thank you so much for all the hospitality!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The location was perfect- close to everything, but just outside the commotion for a peaceful stay. The views from every room in the house were incredible. The house was spotless and organized and completely stocked with anything you could ever need. We never noticed the owner living in the basement outside of him turning on the outdoor lights for our late arrival- which was so appreciated. Everything was perfect!

My friend and I were in UT for a CME in Springdale. We decided to stay at the house instead of booking suites at the hotel were the conference was being held. We brought our spouses and our adult daughter.
The Zion entrance is an easy 15-20 minute drive from the property. The house is amazing! It was clean/spotless. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals in the evenings. There was plenty of pillows, towels, and blankets available.
The property owner does live in the basement, so I think that is something that should be disclosed up from, but it was not a problem.
This property is outstanding. I would recommend it 100%

I stayed with four other friends to explore Zion and Bryce. The communication ahead of time was amazing, the checkin process was accommodating to our needs and the home was beautiful and comfy! Everything was more than expected! We will definitely try to stay here again if we come back!

This was a great location for all of our Zion hikes. Also good for a day trip to Bryce Canyon. The house had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen and even little extras you would not expect. Will definitely stay here again if we go back.

Very well laid out space for our party of 4 adults and an 11 month old, very clean, fantastic views. Kitchen was extremely well stocked - even had ziploc containers to hold left overs and lots of spices for cooking. The place really has everything we needed and more.
Unfortunately, the fire alarm batteries failed in the middle of the night setting off the alarm every 10-15 minutes. The property manager replied to our text at 4:30 in the morning and after trying a few things remotely to reset the system he was able to get the owner (who lives in the basement) involved. It took about 90 minutes to ensure the alarm would not go off again. The 11 month old had a rough morning due to the interrupted sleep but it really was an unavoidable disruption that was handled as well as could be expected.
We would stay here again.

I hesitate to use the word perfect, but I can’t find a single fault with this rental. The location is perfect, the communication is excellent, but not overbearing. It’s the best stocked of any rental we’ve stayed in, and we’ve stayed in many. Everything from utensils to spices to basic food items you may have forgotten to bring. The view is fantastic. Convenient to Zion, but not stuck in the traffic jam in town and far enough away to relax with family. Five stars.

My three friends and I had a tremendous stay at this property during our trip to Zion. It was very clean and spacious, and very convenient to the various areas of the park. The best part was our three evenings out on the large back deck - stunning scenery. James was extremely helpful when we had questions. Highly recommend.

Beautiful views in great location near Zion. Kitchen was well stocked and the place was clean and very spacious. There is someone living downstairs who we could hear talking when in the master bedroom.

Jaw-dropping views from a fabulous home. We enjoyed preparing meals and eating them inside or out on the back balcony. The beds were perfect and we had fun playing on the driveway at sunset. Exquisite home that is super close to Zion. Loved our stay!

Zion National Park is an awesome place and The View House provided a perfect base camp for our adventures. Very comfortable, lovely, and convenient. The host was most attentive. If we had any issues, they were quickly and courteously resolved. I would highly recommend this place. A great value.

We were a little hesitant to rent this one because it’s a bit out of the way for what we had planned. I’m so glad we did it anyway. The house was immaculate and the kitchen was fully stocked with more than we needed. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. Our host was kind and quick to respond to all our needs. We couldn’t ask for more.

Our family of five stayed very comfortably in this home with room to spare. This home is beautiful and very inviting . It is located in a quiet, peaceful area near Zions. The view of Zions National Park is gorgeous! House was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the beds and bedrooms. Hosts are superb! Great Communication and very helpful when needed. Thank you for the host gift and making this a memorable and fun vacation for our family. We will definitely be back!
