About this house rental
Enjoy this 5 bedroom home with an additional game room. This home is perfect for your annual family vacation, including your well behaved dog. Located near Tahoe City this home has room for everyone to gather and unwind. Prepare a feast in the home’s updated kitchen, unwind in the living room exiting out to a spacious deck with ample room for family and friends to create new cherished memories. The inviting home features all the Tahoe musts - gas fireplace in living room and master, front and side decks, pool table, hot tub, proximity to beaches, trails, and close access to prime mountain resorts.
The main floor features living room, dining and kitchen along with the family room, den and the primary bedroom with jetted tub and separate shower. The upper floor has 4 more bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom and a full bathroom in the hallway.

* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.

Great location. Plenty of room. Enjoyed the game room. It was nice to have a paddle board and double water ring to use. We took a lot of our own equipment but appreciated having extra to supplement. Good location for the beaches west of Tahoe city. We particularly love Sand Harbor beach on the northeast corner of Tahoe where our family has spent many summers. The garbage bin was already full when we arrived but this was quickly addressed by the rental agency.

This s our second year renting this house and we absolutely loved it. The beautiful, comfy decor and fully outfitted kitchen are just two of the greatest features. The property managers are very responsive and so kind. We would love to rent again next year!

We had a family weekend get away and this home was perfect!! So much room and even room for a make shift wiffle ball tourney, with trees as bases! We’ll definitely be back!

Myself and four friends rented this house for a girl's getaway. The house was a bit tricky to find because there was so much snow and it sits a little bit back from the road. The house was beautiful but is smaller than I expected after looking at the pictures. We all got our own bedrooms and had plenty of room to roam around. Beware that there are a lot of stairs. We had a few minor issues that were quickly addressed via email.

This is a fantastic Tahoe home. Our extended family had a wonderful winter visit. The home is convenient to Tahoe City, Homewood and Granlibakken (for the toddlers). The rooms were comfortable and spacious enough. I appreciated that there were an endless amount of towels available. The home was adequately stocked with kitchen items. The extra family room was a great play area for the kids and their toys leaving the great room tidy for the adults.

The house was nice, however, the pans were terrible. Could not even make scrambled eggs they were so tore up. Not enough paper towels. If a house sleeps 10 people, 2 rolls of paper towels is not enough. There were burnt out light bulbs, the light switches were weird. Overall, it was ok, not worth the money. The location was terrible as well, it was very scary pulling out onto the main road.

Serene Retreat was a great location and comfy place to stay. Generally equipped very well, TV’s Sono’s system, games room. It is a little “rental tired” with things looking worn, frying pans, knives etc old and average cleaning service.

A fantastic home and rental experience! The home was spotless and well maintained. The management company was responsive throughout the process of renting, checkin, and check out. This is a large home with comfy bed, linens, plenty of dishes to cook and serve meals. The separate bunkroom/pool table quarters over the garage was a hit with our teenage grandkids. The primary bedroom was large and on the first floor, with 4 more bedrooms on the second floor. One bedroom on the second floor has an attached bathroom and another full bath on the second floor to accommodate the other bedrooms.The outdoor area was perfect for our grandkids to build a snowman and play in the snow.An excellent family vacation home to make lasting memories!!

My group (7 adults) and I had an incredible time at this Sunnyside home! The house itself is gorgeous with a stone floor, large fire place, deck, updated kitchen, wine fridge, the list goes on and on! We loved that the house came so well stocked, regular bath towel and hot tub towels, pans, tupperware, keurig, etc were all provided. Everything was spotless and clean. The location was great, only took up 15 minutes to get to Palisades in the morning.
The house also has a view of the lake!
I didn't realize from the photos that the game room is above the garage, but its really easy to access.
It seems the county of Tahoe City has a lot of regulations and I had to sign a very long contract, but it's nothing too out of pocket.

We stayed for three nights and loved it. The house absorbed seven adults, two children, and our Golden retriever without anyone ever feeling crowded. It felt like home and we really appreciate that.
