About this cabin rental

Ready to disconnect and relax? Grab a drink and hop in the hot tub, or build a fire in the firepit. Enjoy coffee and a book from the porch while watching the deer and other wildlife wander nearby.
Very convenient location! Only minutes from downtown Fort Payne, Mentone, Desoto State Park and Little River Canyon. Very quiet cabin in the woods!
This cabin shares 20 acres in the woods with a few of our others. Each are spaced out to keep it private and relaxing! It was built in late 2022. It is completely self-sufficient, fully-furnished with all appliances.
We now have Wi-Fi! So, if you *have* to work, or if you're needing to binge watch your favorite Netflix shows, you can now do so!
Each of our cabins have a private hot tub located on the covered back deck, a fire pit, and a campsite style charcoal grill. All of the kitchens are fully equipped with all the basic appliances and utensils you should need to prepare your favorite meals if you're looking to stay in. We use Keurig pod coffee makers in each of our cabins, so grab your favorite blend!
This cabin has a king sized bed and a full-size sleeper sofa.
Things you should know!
All sheets and linens are provided.
We provide a starter roll of toilet paper and paper towels, as well as a dishwasher and washing machine tablet. We also provide a few K-cups to get you started.
According to your length of stay, you may want to bring extra coffee, detergents and garbage bags.
We do not provide any toiletries at this time.
Phone service can be limited, however, we have signal boosters in each of our cabins. AT&T and Verizon seem to work fine, though we have been told that T-Mobile/Sprint users didn't have signal. Having wi-fi now may allow many modern phones to operate over it.

This little cabin/compound was so nice! Perfectly described and cleaned property. Hot tub was clean and modern. The cabins are well spaced and private enough with plenty of wildlife abound. Just minutes from Desoto entrance and an easy drive to either Mentone or Ft. Payne for the day. Stocked with quality items in the kitchen and plenty of towels, etc. Will Definitely book again!!!

This cabin was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed it so much! It was so relaxing and quiet! Perfect location for going back into town, or visiting the parks! Only a few minutes from either! We will definitely visit again one day 💕😊

Everything was great about the property. I especially liked the fact that all of the cabins are spaced at least 100 yards apart with a wide border of forest between the cabins, offering max privacy. The host was also very responsive to answer any questions that came up.

It’s our second time staying in a cabin here and we have absolutely no complaints! It’s the perfect little spot! We hike all day and come back to a clean, spotless, up to date cabin to relax! Oh and you can’t beat the view from the hot tub on the back porch!! We can’t wait to go back again’

This was our first time to visit this cabin and it was fantastic. Super clean and very quaint, but just perfect for my wife and I. Whoever handles the cleaning does an immaculate job. I would recommend this to anyone.

It was wonderful! It's a beautiful property and had great amenities. Kitchen's stocked with supplies and utensils, cute animal-themed design, and super comfy. It was so cold while down there, but the heater felt great! The hot tub was so good~ There's quite a bit to do in Dekalb/Fort Payne. Walking through the town was nice, and the town looks gorgeous with the Christmas decorations and lights. We were even able to go to Chattanooga for a day since it's fairly close. We really enjoyed our stay! :)

WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME AT THE CABIN. IT WAS SO QUIET & SERENE. WISH WE HAD BOOKED MORE DAYS, BUT WILL DO SO IN THE NEAR FUTURE WHEN WE GO BACK.

The cabin was amazing. As soon as we walked in the smell of cleanliness was everywhere. The cabin was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. Will definitely stay again. If youre having a hard time deciding where to stay, pull the trigger and stay here. You will not regret it. Roll Tide.

The cabin was very clean and inviting. The bed was super comfortable! I enjoyed coffee on the porch each morning and even got to see some deer, which was awesome! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy getaway!

This cabin is so nicely tucked away in the woods and so quiet! There are other cabins near, but the woods make it very private. I dont have one complaint about it. The owner was very nice and checked up on us while we were there. We will be back!

The owners were so helpful with recommendations and the property all though in the woods was not super secluded or far from downtown Fort Payne, which made it easy to get around d. May husband greatly appreciated the fan as he sleeps with one every night. It was the perfect weekend place to celebrate our anniversary. Highly recommend!

The cabin is really nice and is near all the waterfalls and the canyon. We really enjoyed our stay and we are certain we will be back. Property owner communicated well and was on top of providing relevant information and suggestions.

Clean, Well equipped and maintained property Full size everything for ease of storage and preparing food for as many as needed, short or long stay! Would definitely revisit with no reservations! Secluded yet Conveniently located to town and surrounding sight seeing adventures.

we LOVED our stay! i love the scenery of the outside AND inside of the cabin. we brought our own towel’s because we didn’t think there would be enough with no laundry detergent but there was plenty enough and even laundry detergent. they even have plenty of cleaning supplies in case of a spill! overall we loved it and will definitely be back!!!

We booked this cabin to have Christmas with kids and grand kids living in the area. It was a great experience. Enough space to get together and the hot tub was very relaxing to end the days. Quincy was great to work with. Highly recommended!
