About this cabin rental
Ready to disconnect and relax? Grab a drink and hop in the hot tub, or build a fire in the firepit. Enjoy coffee and a book from the porch while watching the deer and other wildlife wander nearby.
Very convenient location! Only minutes from downtown Fort Payne, Mentone, Desoto State Park and Little River Canyon. Very quiet cabin in the woods!
This cabin shares 20 acres in the woods with a few of our others. Each are spaced out to keep it private and relaxing! It was built in late 2019 and finished in early 2020. It is completely self-sufficient, fully-furnished with all appliances.
We now have Wi-Fi! So, if you *have* to work, or if you're needing to binge watch your favorite Netflix shows, you can now do so!
Each of our cabins have a private hot tub located on the covered back deck, a fire pit, and a campsite style charcoal grill. All of the kitchens are fully equipped with all the basic appliances and utensils you should need to prepare your favorite meals if you're looking to stay in. We use Keurig pod coffee makers in each of our cabins, so grab your favorite blend!
This cabin has a king sized bed and a full-size sleeper sofa.
Things you should know!
All sheets and linens are provided.
We provide a starter roll of toilet paper and paper towels, as well as a dishwasher and washing machine tablet. We also provide a few K-cups to get you started.
According to your length of stay, you may want to bring extra coffee, detergents and garbage bags.
We do not provide any toiletries at this time.
Phone service can be limited, however, we have signal boosters in each of our cabins. AT&T and Verizon seem to work fine, though we have been told that T-Mobile/Sprint users didn't have signal. Having wi-fi now may allow many modern phones to operate over it.

Me and my boyfriend chose this vrbo for our first trip together! We loved the location. It was a good price, it was clean, it was perfect size for two people. Very peaceful and was great to come back to at the end of the day to wind down.

Great for relaxation. Love the woods and the private setting.

My only real complaint is the water pressure in the shower. I would have liked to have had ESPN on the TV, but we enjoyed our time together in the cabin and in the area. IT WAS GREAT!!!!

Stay was very relaxing and quite. The property was clean and up to date. Everything was A+
Would have liked a TV for the bedroom, though. Great property.

Loved the property. Will stay there again. The only thing I travel with my clothes hanging and there is no closet or rod to hang clothes. If they could put up a rod in the bathroom or bedroom it would be the best place ever.

I had a fantastic stay at this private cabin. They provided everything I needed. And when I had a problem with the hot tub, they were VERY quick to reply and remedy it.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin!
Very clean and peaceful/private feel.
We had everything we needed in the cabin.
We were 20 minutes from anywhere we went, which is not bad at all. We enjoyed hiking and the hot tub made the trip much better for my husband and I.
The bed is definitely on the firmer side, which we did not enjoy.
Overall, everything about the cabin was very enjoyable and we want to bring our children back with us next time!

We have stayed here 3 times now. The other two times were 5 star experiences but this time was not. We arrived at the property easily as usual. The cabin was not cleaned properly. Upon arrival the cabin reeked of dirty trash or something that smelled horribly. The counters were not wiped properly or the table in the cabin or the table outside the cabin. The hot tub appeared clean but after getting in for a few moments you could feel grime on the bottom and a ring around the top of the hot tub. We found a huge fuzz ball that came from one of the vents in the hot tub which kind of ruined the experience of using it. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great as the other 2 cabins there we stayed at previously. Overall it wasn't as relaxing as hoped for and if you're looking to book I would not recommend this particular property. I would also suggest that the cleaning person not rush the job as people are paying good money for their stay and you're paying a cleaning fee as well.

This was the perfect spot for alone time with my husband. We enjoyed getting away from the hustle and bustle of our super busy work/home lives. Thank you so much for a beautiful, clean, private and relaxing place for us to enjoy.

This cabin is cute, well equipped, and close to the park and downtown Fort Payne. The owner was also very communicative and responsive. My friend and I just had a quick weekend getaway this time, but we will be back to stay in these cabins with our families in the future.

I am in this area from central Florida two to three times a year, but always stay in hotels. I'll definitely go the cabin route from here on. This cabin was new and extremely clean. It met all my needs and then some. The area was pretty far into the woods and very quiet and peaceful, just what i needed for a couple of days. I had a neighboring cabin, but it was far enough for lots of privacy. I've already recommended this property to friends and co-workers.
