We loved staying in this cozy cabin! We had a bit of a hiccup with check in (the door code didn’t work and Vacasa was difficult to get ahold of) but once we were in, we really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kids loved making smores in the fire pit and our dog loved sleeping in front of the fireplace. We would definitely stay here again!

We had never been to Vermont and were driving 8.5 hours to get there...i was slightly worried about the check in process as i had seen other comments that it wasnt great...and after a long trip i wanted to easily get in. The process was very smooth, and they even let us check in early! The cabin is exactly as looks online and very clean. In a campground that looks to be well.looked after. It wasnt open while we were there ans was very quiet. A few small things to note: there were no kitchen towels, we bought a few and left them there, and the propane was out in the fire table so we didnt get to use it. These were very small things, and didnt affect our stay. Cabin was close to Stowe and was in a cute town with a few big stores (Marshalls and Big Lots) and had 2 nice grocery stores and some great reaturants. We travelled to some other small towns, and overall it ended up being in a great location. We would most definitely come bavk again!

Pictures don’t do the cabin any justice. And the fire pit outside was not filled with gas. But other than that it was an unbelievable trip

We loved the cabin atmosphere down to every last little detail in decor. The fireplace and screened-in porch with firepit made it so comfy and cozy!

I loved everything about the black bear log cabin. It was as advertised. Clean, modern, and had every amenity imaginable in the cabin. Everything was clean and organized. The cabin was warm and the floor were well insulated and felt heated. The gas fireplace was a bit underwhelming but the heat was fine overall.
Lots of great cooking utensils for all types of meals which was nice to take advantage of. The hot tub was functional even during the winter months which was fun in the cold weather. Pleased with the stay.
I was not pleased with the check in process at all. It was extremely dark when we arrived at 5pm, and there wasn’t a clear map of where the cabin was in relation to the other places on the property. The address that was given only took us to the full campground but in the pitch dark with limited signs we couldn’t see where to go. We had to walk down the path to eventually find the cabin. Once we got to the cabin I didn’t realize there was a lock box as that was never mentioned to me during the process. To make matters worse the code were we given was incorrect. I sat there in the freezing cold for nearly an hour trying to open the door/ key lock with the improper code I was given.
When i tried to call it immediately failed because there was no service at that part of morrisville. Eventually I had to drive back and text the vacasa help center and they were able to give us the correct code. But the stress and anxiety of not being able to get in was a lot.

The cabin was beautiful for me, my husband, and 2 dogs.
Only issues were.. getting into the cabin (code was wrong & service was spotty to call) & figuring out the heating.
Once we got settled, beautiful & perfect!

This log cabin was a near perfect place to stay In Vermont! Very clean and comfortable! The king bed and pillows were sooo comfortable The walk-in shower made for easier bathing as my husband and I are both disabled Dog friendly was also a plus! Only negative was that it was close to Rte 15 and the noise from traffic was unpleasant

The blackbear cabin was great! We had a great weekend, and it was the perfect place to stay. The only thing I could not find that we needed was a pair of scissors, but I’m sure that is an easy fix for the owners other than that, it was amazing!
