Beautiful location. Home has nice amenities. The sound of the waves and the gorgeous views exceeded our expectations. The deck furniture and fire pit are serviceable but a bit tired. The drive to the house was narrow and the turn around not for the faint of heart. That said it is a beautiful spot and we would happily stay there again

The location of the house is amazing. And,
views from the bedrooms were very relaxing! You can see Seattle and Mt Baker from the deck. We got a lot of use out of the kitchen and deck. There were enough cooking utensils and supplies in the house for our needs.
There were some issues with the cleanliness of the house. Vacasa stepped up to remedy the issue and showed a lot of concern. That said, this house is older and needs some updates.
I would stay here again and feel it’s a good
value!

Our favorite thing about this property was watching Otters from the deck

Windows everywhere. Gorgeous sunsets on the patio. Comfortable beds.

House as billed....Nice place. Comfortable layout. Beautiful view. Check in/check out was simple as could be. Difficult parking (best to have a small car), House right on the water. Can hear the waves hitting the retaining wall at the base of the house at night as the tide comes in. One issue that never got resolved was getting the heater to warm up the first floor of the house.

Lovely house, dramatic location and view!

My son loved being right on the water and playing on the beach when the tide went out. Also saw several otters. Great property but the parking took careful slow driving as it’s a one way street right off the waters edge. We would definitely stay again
4.4
Pros: Gorgeous views, sandy beach when tide is down, outdoor deck, short commute to city via ferry.
Cons: Induction stove in kitchen hard to use, outdoor furniture not clean upon arrival, heater would not keep the house above 68° and kids were cold the whole stay, no wood or lighter for the wood fireplace, when at high tide at night the waves hit retaining wall and shake the house, outdoor handrailing not safe for kids.
In review the house has great potential to be an amazing stay, but the house is currently for sale and you can tell owner is scooting by doing bare minimum upkeep.

Great main floor space for just hanging out with friends or family. Enjoyed the fireplace during our stormy stay.

We had a small family reunion (four of us) with out of state relatives. We enjoyed the house very much. The views were outstanding. Boat traffic and river otters being the highlights.

The location of this house is amazing! Sitting on the deck literally next to the water’s edge was my favorite part of this house. We were able to watch seals and a family of sea otters off the deck.

This place had everything we could have needed. We loved the views and the island life. Thank you for opening up your home and heart to us

The home was so relaxing on the water. It was nicely appointed! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and there is a gas firepit for the evening. Part of the deck would be a concern for young toddlers. We would love to visit again.

My husband and I stayed in this Bainbridge Island home for my birthday. The location seems a little remote as you are driving there, but that’s the absolute beauty of this place. We loved everything about it. The views to Seattle and surrounding area were spectacular. The house was very comfortable.
Outside deck was our place of choice for most of our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom and bathrooms were just right.
I would recommend this home for 2 or 4 people, the upstairs bedroom being much showier then the downstairs one-not because it isn’t comfortable, but the views are so much better upstairs.
Easy access to the main roads off Bainbridge or to the ferry. 10 minutes to downtown. It’s a really great location. No disappointments.

We had a wonderful stay at this seaside home. The views are spectacular, the kitchen and living room are spacious and well-appointed. We spent much of our time on the deck enjoying the views and hearing the waves. The master suite is huge with a great bathroom. As others have stated, trying to turn the car around in that tight space is tricky, but we figured it out. A great stay overall!

Great setting - great house

This house had amazing views of Rolling Bay from almost every room, and the deck is the perfect place to relax while enjoying the fabulous view! The house had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We love to cook, and we really enjoyed the kitchen that had all we needed to make delicious meals using locally sourced ingredients. Bainbridge island stores and the Farmer's market provided those ingredients. We read through books about Brainbridge that were provided by the owners and went on some of the fabulous hikes suggested in one book. What a great experience! We also really enjoyed walking along the beach and sidewalks at Rolling Bay, listening to the ocean sounds, enjoying the breeze and the views. The master suite was superb with lots of space, the Ove commode and great walk-in shower in the bathroom, views that make you feel you are surrounded by ocean, and a bed so comfy you sleep like a baby. Navigating down the narrow driveway was a bit daunting at first, but my husband made it work. We definitely would enjoy a return visit to this relaxing and beautiful place!

Fabulous location right on the water. Great small town with good restaurants and stores. Only a 30 minute ferry ride to Seattle - so easy.
Just need better parking instructions and some board games in the house. Oh yeah, put the house/island info papers in a binder.
Thanks for a great stay! Our family enjoyed it!

Better than the pictures. The location was beautiful. Great interior design and sight lines on windows made sure you had amazing views of the water and the Seattle Skyline even indoors. It was nice to relax upstairs with the windows partly open to hearing the waves lapping on the rock beach. Large comfortable living room / kitchen with fireplace. There was even an office space to WFH.

This home is super unique, with absolutely incredible views. Would be amazing in the summer with the sprawling decks. THOUGH, the kitchen has nothing to cook with. No salt, pepper, oils, or anything at all for cooking in the large kitchen (has pots & pans). Make sure you bring EVERYTHING if you intend to cook. It has three wood burning fireplaces, but no wood provided. Doesn't have the fireplace tools either to adjust the fire or cleanup ashes or wood debris. Has a BBQ, but no BBQ scraper. We opened it up to old food that had become moldy on the grill with no way of cleaning it. Most of the remotes in the houses even had no batteries inside to use the TV's etc. Was very interesting when trying to utilize the home to its full extent. The house could definitely be very cool, though the owners/management need to put more time into what they need to provide to vacasa renters.
