Die Lage war fantastisch, der Bungalow sehr groß mit wunderschöner Terrasse
Das Badezimmer war nicht gefliest, reine Beton am Boden und Wänden, war nicht einladend

And it was worth it.
1. Semi-privacy - very important to us; your own entrance, your private patio, your own window into the park.
2. Your own kitchen: you eat what you smell.
3. Your personal crow in front of your window every morning
Decent pool + hot tub
We'd prefer paved roads; maybe gravel, but not dust.
We'd prefer LARGER, well lit signs and directions.

This property was the perfect place. The bungalow was gorgeous, and so intentionally and thoughtfully decorated. The pool and hot tub were AMAZING. Located close enough to Joshua Tree for easy access to hike, it far enough away to avoid the traffic.
Nothing, everything was fantastic.

Little paradise in the desert!
Everything was just perfect!

It has really great views just like living in the desert! The host was very kind and friendly, and provided very detailed instructions for checkIng in. And they also provided EV charging by request (it's charging kind of slowly though). Room was clean
It's kind of hard to locate... Especially at night. We arrived at 9:30 pm, it was dark there without clear sign, so we spent half an hour to find the house...

Cute, comfortable place ***** we like it so much!
the bed is perfect! Area is nice. One one the best places in Joshua tree.

Historically significant property with character. Nicely renovated and very well maintained.

There is a very private feeling looking out on the desert, and the studio arrangement was very cute. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave, plus dishes and silverware. The huge hot tub down the walkway was also appreciated.
No place to wash/dry clothing, which could be a problem for a longer stay. There is also only a shower (no bath tub). There was no place to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner, on site (cafe was closed), so we bought simple food in town and fixed it at the homestead (the area has no nice restaurants).

Tricky to find in the dark

Great location. In between Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley. The property is situated inside the Joshua Tree Retreat Center. Beautiful property, lots of space and areas for solitude. The bungalow we stayed in looked quite new with newer looking furniture and kitchen wares. The front porch or yard also had a large space with lounge chairs, and a corner for having coffee or reading a book. The view near our bungalow is beautiful. I loved the Chalice Well, although I only found it on our last day. I wish we also got to use the fire pit. The fire pit’s location imbued relaxation and peace. I got to see bunnies, multiple variety of birds and even a chipmunk! Most of all, I love that the property was pet friendly so we were able to bring along our doggie.
We probably went during their low season and it was also midweek. Everything was closed except for the office. The cafe, retreat centers, meditation halls were all closed. It got dark too fast after 5 pm and we missed the entrance. There was a lighted post and it looked like a small entrance booth once you’re close to it but a lighted sign of the property’s name by the road would have been helpful. It was a 45 mph road but most of the cars were driving 55mph or more so once you missed the exit you have to go around. A doggie bowl and some plastic poop carriers would also be a great addition for pet friendly bungalows.

It was a small heaven next to Joshua Tree. It felt like spending the night in one of those architectural marvels you find in the Case Study House magazines of the 50’s. The philosophy of this historic place has stayed perfect in tact. The room was just a little heaven.
I can only find one point: no hairdryer… oh and maybe a too robotic reception

The setup is great, the little bungalows grouped together offer privacy but nice to know there are still neighbours around. The site is lovely, albeit less remote than i expected. Very convenient to get to Palm Springs, shops or the national park/
A more powerful shower would be great

Pretty close to Joshua Tree national park and pretty nice views.
Rock and Roll concert going on on the property beyond 11:30 PM before without previous notification.

Loved the bungalow and the location. Decor was midcentury delightful and all the interior furniture and decor (down to crockery and fittings and fixtures) were amazing!
The views were spectacular.
Peaceful, quiet, romantic and magical.
We came from London and travelled to Joshua Tree without a vehicle (got a lift from a friend from LA) and this proved to be quite tricky.
Uber's wouldn't come to the location and food deliveries got lost.
We are older travellers and not so technical so found navigating the welcome details on the app a little daunting...
When we called the number for help to ask about transport to Palm Springs we were told 'call a local cab' which ended up being a bit of a disaster and we booked a unsuitable vehicle, with a passenger share (still charged full price not a shared fee - $135). Car was a mess and felt unsafe. I felt the support from the hosts was poor to be honest.
Also disappointed to discover our stay was Mon-Weds and the shop, cafe and events are only Thurs. - Sun.
It still didn't dappen our experience too much and we would return but with a rental car and some provisions!

I didn't even know there was breakfast! If id known that it would be even harder not to book another day. It was so quiet and peaceful I didn't want to get up was i dreading coming back to the city. Definitely recommend this mmm
The onlyt thing I'd liked to have had better was the water pressure in the shower. Everything else was great. Wish I was there tight now.

The bungalow is a beautifully refurbished 1961 Frank Lloyd Wright style property set in a development of similar bungalows in Joshua Tree. It’s a stunning property in a fantastic location.
When we arrived, we were hot and thirsty & immediately dived into the fridge to open a can of water. Only later did we discover that this can of water cost us $8. Come on, it’s the desert - that’s plain mean. Similarly most of the other provisions left in the bungalow are subject to a criminally extortionate fee. The money appears to be automatically docked from my credit card that made the booking (plus a further $4 for what I don’t know - we have received no itemised bill, just a transaction from the credit card. It’s a shame that for such a small thing the whole experience is soured. Why not be more transparent? Include all costs in the cost of accommodation or at the very least email an itemised bill first. This is shady, disreputable practice which undermines a tremendous accommodation in a beautiful location.

The bungalow was our best stay so far on our road trip. We loved the design, the view, the kitchen which was perfectly equipped and also a lovely bathroom. It was just perfect and close to Joshua Tree National Park.
Nothing. I would recommend this place for a romantic getaway and visit to Joshua Tree NP.
