This charming garden unit in Lincoln Park is ideally situated for any type of traveler! There are plenty of parks, dining, nightlife, and shops nearby. The main DePaul campus is just a quick walk away as well, perfect for families coming to visit their students or tour the school! You can easily take the 'El' train downtown to see all of Chicago's iconic sights. After a long day out and about in the city, come back to this cozy gem on a quiet, tree-lined street and unwind.
Early Check-Ins and Late Check-Outs are difficult to accommodate. If you need additional time, please consider booking an extra day.
Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis only. Local groups looking to use the property for a party, gathering or other group event are expressly prohibited and your reservation may be canceled.
Any guest booking this property must be staying at the property for the full duration of the reservation and is responsible for the actions of all people in the group. Bookings made on behalf of others are allowed for some unique circumstances so please inquire if you are planning to book for someone else but do not intend to stay yourself.
Parking in the city can be tricky and is not guaranteed. There may be some street parking available nearby, but please be sure to read all posted signs before parking anywhere on the street to avoid being ticketed or towed. To guarantee a spot, you can use a parking app like SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book parking spots ahead of time around the city.
Very simply, please respect my home and my neighbors. Please read these rules carefully and take them seriously, failure to comply will result in forfeiture of your deposit and/or termination of your reservation without a refund.
1.) No parties or additional overnight guests without prior approval. Noise disturbances reported by neighbors or police are unacceptable.
2.) Additional visitors are not permitted at my property. Only registered guests may access the property for the entire duration of your stay.
3.) Please ensure you have left the premises and returned any keys issued to the designated location by the agreed upon check-out time. Failure to do so will result in a $250 late check-out penalty.
4.) Absolutely no smoking (of anything) inside the unit or on building premises. Additionally, local law prohibits smoking within 15 feet of any entrance. If there is evidence of smoking, including odor, there will be a $1,000 smoke remediation charge. “Smoking” means inhaling, exhaling, breathing, carrying, or possessing any lighted or electronic cigar, cigarette, pipe, vaporizer, joint, or other tobacco or marijuana product in any manner or in any form. No marijuana, medical or otherwise, may be used, grown, stored or consumed on the premises.
5.) Please be respectful of my neighbors and be mindful of noise and loud music. Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM-8:00 AM daily.
6.) Lockouts will result in a $150 fee per occurrence. Additionally, lost keys will incur a $50 per key fee.
7.) I acknowledge that as the primary guest on the reservation that I am staying at the property for the entire duration of the stay and responsible for the actions of all guests. If you are NOT staying at the property and booking on behalf of others, please contact us as limited exceptions are permitted to this rule.
8.) Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis only. Local groups looking to use the property for a party, gathering or other group event are expressly prohibited and your reservation may be canceled.
9.) Lost and Found: We are not responsible for any personal items left behind. If you let us know what personal items you are missing we will make an attempt to locate those in our lost and found and have them shipped to you at your own expense. The code to open the door did not work be used the lock battery was dead. The owner of the unit who lives upstairs had to open the door for us. Be used the lock was self locking we were unable to leave the unit until the concierge support answered our service call to give us access to the back up key for the door.

We had a wonderful stay in this property. It is clean and comfortable. It is a basement unit with ample light. There is no kitchen and no laundry so one has to manage those expectations. For us, the location was perfect as we were visiting family in the neighborhood. Also, no closet but plenty of drawers. We had trouble with the keypad on arrival but the management company was very quick to respond and we were provided a key. It was great for two of us and can easily accommodate a child but it would be crowded with four adults. Overall, it’s a great place to stay, we would love to stay here again. Our priority is visiting family in the neighborhood vs activities downtown.

Great quiet neighborhood, place is perfect for two people. Nicely furnished. One Con is there is very little natural light in living area as it is a basement type unit.
You can hear walking and talking above you. Happy kid noises so ok with me. The bedroom has a lot of nice light from windows. Does not have a closet which may or may not matter to you. Bathroom is detached from the bedroom and you walk across living area to get it. Overall very lovely peaceful, albeit dark place to stay. Enjoyed my time there.

Property was perfect. Pictures on VRBO accurate. Location felt very safe. People in above unit were a little loud until 10:30 pm. Would be better if quiet zone was from 9 pm to 8 am.

Getting into the apartment was a nightmare. There is a 4 PM check-in. After multiple tries the keypad didn't work. I contacted VRBO who in turn tried to contact RedAwning. I was told that RedAwning was closed and to get a hotel room. My husband and I had taken a Lyft from Midway and had no idea of what hotels were available plus the temperature had dropped almost 25 degrees from when we flew in from. One hour and forty five minutes later the host called and gave me the master keypad code that didn't work and finally gave me the code for a lockbox attached to the fence. Freezing and hungry we went to bed. I would suggest that the host be on call when guests arrive. I'm waiting to hear from RedAwning if we will get a adjustment in payment for this horrible treatment.

Great location for our interests. Very clean. Comfortable bed, large bathroom/shower. A bit noisy upstairs, but would definitely stay there again.

I forgot that “garden” apartment usually means basement; nevertheless it was a lovely neighborhood and nice enough unit. The biggest problem was kids running around, starting at 7:00am. They also made quite a bit of noise until I left mid morning each day. There was also no actual kitchen: just a microwave and coffee maker that, was set up to only brew 1 large cup.

This property is super convenient to DePaul campus. We stayed here while moving our son in to his residence hall for the school year. Could walk to and from everything on campus in mere minutes.

Location and ease could not be better. We drove from Michigan and this place has free parking on the street. We never had a problem finding a spot. The street and residence is beautiful and has a well lit private entrance. Lots of shops and places to eat within walking. We also walked to the train to head into the heart of the city.
We will book here again when we come back to visit our family.

This was our second visit here. This is the perfect location for us. Near our son, near our grandson’s school, and so close to restaurants and transportation. Very clean and there is always free street parking available without needing a permit. We will be back :)

Loved this place! So convenient to my son’s place, grandsons’s school and many stores and restaurants in the area. Very clean and comfy in a great neighborhood, with a private entrance and all the comforts of home. Host was very responsive and easy to work with. So glad we found this place!
