Under supplied with dishwasher and hand washing soaps, paper towels, toilet paper and other essentials for a group of 11.
Electricity was out for 6 hours,no water,no flushing toilets.I know that was out of their control but no offer of any help or guidance luckily we had a bucket and took water out of the pool to flush toilets ,went 14 miles to town to buy lanterns . Our family made the best of it but was disappointed

My husband rented this for us as a Mother's Day getaway. We had a great time bonding with our kids (15 and 12) over pool. We relaxed in the hot tub before going to check out the Northern Lights. We had plenty of space to hang out together but also to have our own space to relax from a hectic week. We had a great time learning to play some of the board games provided. We ended up needing to bring our dog, so we brought her kennel along. There was plenty of space to put it as well. We loved that it was a secluded place to just hang out and unwind, but also was so close to necessities.

My two friends and I had a great stay! Communication with Cory was great. The check in process was easy, we knew exactly what to expect, and the property was well maintained and in a great location. Highly recommend!

Our 3 families gathered and we all enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin and grounds were clean and had everything we needed except linens which we were told to bring. The small town nearby had groceries, ice cream and splash pad. We just enjoyed the campfire and hot tub. Comfy beds and ample room for the 8 of us. Would stay again!

The property owner's Cory and Gabby were just a text away. They made our stay pleasant by having the cabin ready for us when we arrived later in the evening and quick to let us stay a little later on check out day. The cabin was just as the owner's presented it on VRBO, our family all agreed we'd enjoy staying there again - pleasant country cabin - real nice!

There were 4 adults and we all had our own bed/space. The hot tub was PERFECT!! There could be a little more furniture for comfort. Everything else was great! I would highly recommend this cabin for a nice weekend away!

Quiet location in scenic Driftless region. Short drive to Lansing. Nice layout. Enjoyed the pool table and hot tub.

My family and I stayed at the cabin for almost a week. We enjoyed some of the local sights, kayaking the yellow river and each day came back to enjoy each others company in the roomy cabin. The pool table, pool and hot tub were perfect bonuses after kayaking and hiking and a great way to unwind and spend time together. The local town of Lansing had everything we needed and some nice little shops. We would definitely like to return again!

Was amazing. House and property were better than pictures. The area was beautiful. Perfect get away.

This house was super peaceful. We enjoyed the hillside, watching the deer come across the yard, and there was a hot tub!
The location is super convenient also. Only four miles into town, and hour to the major town, and 25 minutes to Effigy National Monument. We did a lot of hiking.
Thank you for sharing this home. This was exactly what we needed for a vacation.

Stayed here with close friends to celebrate a birthday! Great lay out and very spacious!

We stayed here on a whim for a quick weekend getaway. We scheduled on a Friday for Saturday only and were pleasantly surprised when the owner reached out that it was available Friday as well. It was ready for us when we got there after only a 3 hour notice and was a nice cabin in the woods to spend the weekend in. We would definitely stay again.

Everything was as described. Peaceful, secluded and easy to find. Only thing negative I can say is the pool table needs to be leveled to play properly. Other then that it was a blast. The whole crew enjoyed themselves

Great location, clean property and good communication with property owner.

The property is a good size with good amenities. It is not the cleanest place. There was nothing that made us contact the owner but the pool table room had a musty odor, there are no necessities stalked for you, there isn't even a dumpster and you must carry out your trash. Hot tub and pool were nice additions but we spent some time cleaning them upon arrival. Make sure you bring all linens for beds as well as towel's ,wash clothes (even for kitchen) , and even trash bags. There are extensive rules you are sent after you book but most are just being considerate.
The location is beautiful with some places to hike. Lansing is cute but know that most things are closed Monday/Tuesday
All and all would return

My friends and I stayed at Edgewood in July of 2022. It's a wonderful location just south of Lansing, IA with easy access to wonderful curvy twisty roads in both Wisconsin and along the Mississippi in Iowa. The location has an overhang that is wonderful to park the motorcycles under and keeps them out of the rain and dew.
We did all of our cooking on the gas grill and it worked flawlessly. The place was clean, and the air conditioning worked well especially since it was warm summer evenings. The hot tub was an excellent way to wind down the day. I'm
The owners were great communicators and we had no problems at all. I highly recommend this location.

We enjoyed our time at the cabin, the heat was turned on and music playing when we arrived which made for a very cozy check in. There were a few issues with the hot tub but the host was able to fix them promptly. There are no curtains on the windows which was unfortunate in the bedroom where there is a large street lamp that shines right into the room at night making it difficult to sleep. We put up our own makeshift window covers during our stay to block out the light and have some privacy. Each night there is a lot of water that drains into a big sink in the utility room close to the bedroom which also woke us up because the noise is quite loud. Other than that the cabin is isolated and the surrounding area is very quiet, the kitchen has most cooking utensils and dishes needed but of course there are no linens which was explained beforehand. Overall the stay was restful, comfortable, and the host was helpful.

We had a nice time at this location. We just had to find sheets and towels as we didn't realize they were not provided. And there is no washer and drier yet, I think they are coming through. Everything was nice and clean and we had a good time!

We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub and plenty of nearby hiking!

We had 4 couple stay for a long weekend celebrating some birthdays. It was a nice location, in the beautiful bluffs of the Mississippi. Note that the property is very close to a county highway, so traffic driving by can be loud and fast. Be sure to bring sheets and towels- including hand towels for bathrooms and dish towels. Also bring your own garbage bags, paper towels and toilet paper- there were only 2 rolls there for 8 people staying 3 days. The kitchen was only partially stocked- we needed a cookie sheet for one of our meals and had to buy one. The hot tub was nice and we enjoyed playing yard games during the day and sitting by the fire at night. Overall it as a decent place to stay.

I rented this cabin for my bachelor party. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, worked great for a group of 9 to hangout at all weekend. The hot tub and new rec room are amazing! Everyone was pleasantly surprised by how nice the place was for the price! I will absolutely be back!
