About this apartment rental

Located in the heart of the Marais, you will be in the heart of the capital to fully enjoy Paris.

All you have to do is walk down to enjoy the many restaurants, bars and cafes in this marvelous area, rich in history. The majestic Place des Vosges will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of a walk in the Marais, it is a masterpiece of balance and elegance. The rue des Rosiers, epicenter of the Parisian Jewish community, is also to be discovered for its atmosphere, its shops and its restaurants.

Our apartment is ideal to accommodate up to 15 people for a comfortable Parisian stay. It is equipped with wifi, hair dryer, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, electric heating, television.

Very bright and with magnificent exposed beams that give it a very Parisian touch, it has been completely refurbished and decorated in an elegant and refined style.

In its American kitchen you will find: refrigerator, microwave, oven, freezer, crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. That is to say everything you will need to prepare a meal, a snack or an aperitif with friends or family.

Owners of this third-story apartment operate and communicate from India, and they use the services of an intermediary in Paris, Urban Flats in Paris (UFIP) to organize matters such as cleaning. When contacted at the end of our stay, UFIP knew nothing about us or about VRBO. The correspondents in India seemed to know little about the apartment and initially gave us completely wrong information on how to get in. Contrary to the description on VRBO: - The apartment is NOT in the Marais; it is 1.7 km away from “La Chaise au Plafond”, the restaurant photographed to ‘describe’ its location! The Opéra Garnier or the Palais Royal would have been closer! - There was NO “salle de lavage”, no laundry machine. - There is NO balcony. - There are only FOUR bedrooms. - The kitchen is too small to use; only a bar-size refrigerator with no freezer; NO « îlot de cuisine »; ONE wine glass for 11 people! - Unseen in the photos, presumably left over from some past manufacturing use of the place, the walls onto the inner courtyard of the building consist of floor-to-ceiling 30-cm x 40-cm rectangles of single-paned glass set in partly rusting metal frames. (Do not go in winter!) One pane was cracked and the frosted film glued on some panes in the washroom was peeling off. We paid far too much for this apartment. But the Carrara marble tabletop was nice. And access to buses and subway was easy. We enjoyed our stay because of the location in Paris.
