About this house rental
This fabulous property is located in the centre of Kingsand and just a couple of minutes’ walk down to the beach. Kingsand and its nearby neighbour Cawsand form part of the rather beautiful Rame Peninsula. Each of these pretty little villages has a pub, cafes and other super places to eat as well as a sprinkling of shops and gift shops including ‘The Stores’ in Kingsand where among other locally produced goodies you can buy their wonderful sourdough bread, delivered fresh every day. Kingsand and Cawsand have three small beaches with sand and shingle separated by areas of rocks all with lovely views. The South West Coast Path offers splendid scenery around Penlee Point to Rame Head; Mount Edgcumbe Country Park and Antony House are within a short drive and there are several golf courses in the immediate area. Whitsand Bay, 2 miles,has a long stretch of sand and rocks, and a summer passenger ferry operates from Cawsand Beach across the Sound landing at the Plymouth Barbican. Entered from the side of the property, three steps take you down into the entrance hallway with a beautifully presented shower room WC. Staying on the ground floor you will find one of the four bedrooms. This bedroom accommodates a 5ft bed which can be split down into two 2’6 single beds if required. The smart open plan living room has television and comfy easy seating overlooking the private patio to the rear. Please note - private outside space in Kingsand is rare and this space is provided complete with outdoor furniture, charcoal barbecue and valuable space for storing bikes and surf boards. (The patio can be accessed via a passageway at the side of the property). A gorgeous kitchen/diner is located just off the living space and includes electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. A striking, wood turned staircase leads up to the remining three bedrooms and family bathroom WC. The further three bedrooms comprise of a gloriously cute bunk bedroom with porthole windows, a bedroom with king size bed and a double bedroom. All bedrooms are carpeted and there is ample hanging and drawer space provided between them. The attractive family bathroom WC comprises of a P shape bath with electric shower over, his and hers basins and a good size heated towel rail. Whilst like most properties in Kingsand there is no private parking provided, it is possible to park outside (briefly) and unload. Ample parking spaces can be found in the nearby Kingsand car park – please see additional notes for current parking tariff. This property is efficiently heated via electric central heating Please note; This property is part of the LOYALTY DISCOUNT scheme for returning customers. This property welcomes one small to medium sized dog. A second dog may be considered depending on dog size and the number of guests staying in the property. Please advise the office when making your booking how you would like the ground floor bed making up i.e. 5ft double or 2 x 2'6 single beds. A returnable security deposit of £200 is required at this property. This property can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children
