Jammer van de rooklucht

Het is een leuke oude lokatie met een moderne kamer en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ontbijt was heerlijk en goed verzorgd

De gastheren roken in het pand en doordat het een oud pand is hangt er een sterke rooklucht in de (slaap) kamer dit is erg onaangenaam voor niet rokers. Zelf met het raampje open.

Heerlijk verblijf bij 2 toppers

De hele ervaring, de kamers waren prima met heerlijke bedden, het ontbijt was geweldig. Rick en Patrick hebben gezorgd dat het ons aan niets ontbrak, het zijn toppers. We hebben hele fijne dagen gehad samen.

It was like being in a high class hotel from decades ago, unfortunately including cigarette smoke.

The building itself is very near perfectly decorated and the staff is very warm and friendly. The beds were nice, the rooms were sound proof, and each room had a historical theme. I really loved this place.

The bathroom is shared and, significantly, not heated. Having to run across the hall repeatedly at night to use the ice cold toilet diminished the experience a great deal. Also there was a smell of cigarette smoke. I don't know whether it was another patron or the staff, but it persisted throughout the night. I was unable to find anyone to take my key and check me out in a timely manner, so I just abandoned the key at the front desk.

Mooi pand, centraal in Steenwijk

Mooi ingericht, fijn bed

Kwamen in een steenkoude kamer, had toch wel iets opgewarmd kunnen worden. Gezamenlijke badkamer wisten we, maar werd door erg veel mensen gebruikt (was iig vaak bezet) en ook geen gootsteentje o.i.d. op de kamer en in de badkamer staat een fles Dreft om je handen te wassen, kan echt niet.

Great atmospheric turn of the century villa hotel. Friendly owners.

Beautiful early 20th century villa (former nurses insititute). Spacious high-ceilinged room with four poster bed. Friendly reception. Eclectic bric-a-brac furniture. Cannot comment on the breakfast as we had to leave very early.

Bed in our room was extremely high (maybe from adding a (comfortable) box-spring mattress. Suggest lowering bed legs, if possible. The bath room has a separate exit door. Opening this door knocked down a vase on a pedestal in the hallway. Suggest permanently locking this door, as it serves no useful purpose.

Beautiful old home. Very accommodating about dropping luggage off. Nicely decorated room; very elegant and quite big

Needs bath mats especially in a shared bathroom. A few stairs to tackle with luggage.

Lovely host with cozy stay! Great value!

The decoration of the house is really nice and classic. We stayed at a triple room and there is a bed for kid. The property is really clean and convenient! The owner is super nice to pick us up at the gas station because some of the roads are blocked! He is so warm hearted! We hope to stay at the same place next time! Great sleep with the comfortable mattress!

Great location, beautiful home, and lovely hosts

Patrick and Rick were amazing hosts. We had an air conditioned room that was ready for us when we arrived and breakfast was wonderful! I highly recommend this place.

Old rustic villa

I like the old rustic appeal of the house, the old charm. Overall, we loved our stay.

Since it is an old house so there will be some creaking noise on floor, even on the bed. The toilet is separate from the room, which they could have plan it when they renovated the bathroom. The minibar door opens the opposite way with the door of the cupboard.

The owners were so kind and welcoming. Everything was clean and well decorated.

I forgot to check if the rooms have their bathroom and it was my first shared bathroom experience. Even though, the bathroom was really clean, don't forget your flip flops!

Very nicely designed rooms and house by fresh owners Rick and Patrick. Everything was very tidy and we had a lovely stay. Easy access to the city.

Very good

It was excellent except for the fact that cigarette smoke was spread through the entire Villa. As a single traveller I didn't mind that much (that's why 8/10) but I would if I were there with my whole family.

Would stay here again

We visited this little charming Hotel for a short break. We really were surprised with how much attention to detail this Villa was eqipped. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much and the hosts were just excellent. We only can recommend this place and we definately would choose this place agan. Thank you for your hospitality.

The accomodartion was super good. It was clean and communication with owners was excelent.

You need to keep in mind that you need to share the shower and toilet with other guest
