Older home with upgrades. Very roomy. No a/c. Great location.

This is a very comfortable home in a lovely neighborhood. Thank you for making it available.

This house was nice and quiet. The beds were comfortable. There were toys for the kids to play with. Plenty of towels! The stairs were a bit difficult for little kids and seniors.

Overall the house was great for location & space. The outside could have used some trimming & cut back bushes so we could use the sidewalk. The back gate was hard to latch & our small dog found a hole in the back fence

Perfect vacation home for a family.

I rented this home because although I live in Tacoma my home is too small for me and my family so it was my retirement of being a nurse for 50 years and although I was disappointed in finding out after I rented it I couldn't have my family and friends for a small celebration and had to spend more money having my dinner party in a restaurant which defeated my purpose for renting the place it was a very lovely home and Harper loved the kids play room

1. I found Vacasa very unprofessional in communicating with me, in a timely matter, before our stay.
2. when ask to move the dates 1 day out I was quoted an unreasonably rate.
3. It was bear bones.. examples: no salt & pepper, no coffee, other little things other hosts have included ( I could have stayed at hotel)
4. 2 different emails with 2 different entry codes, so we started our stay with a game of guessing.
5. there was a beautiful patio with outdoor chairs, the weather was beautiful, outdoor pads on furniture would have been nice.
Overall, I will figure something else out for future visits to Tacoma. We are expecting our first grandchild in June, so I'll have to take my business elsewhere.

This property is in a cool neighborhood, it is adorable and really clean, comfortable and had so many thoughtful touches. We highly recommend:)

We enjoyed our stay in this charming, older home. It's tastefully decorated and very comfortable. It has a great location and view of the water. We loved the charm and uniqueness of the older home. It was a perfect place for two families to gather with easy access to UPS, Point Rustin, and plenty of restaurants. The only thing lacking for us was some extra, but not essential, amenities. We would have enjoyed some games and a speaker system so we could play music while we were there.

We loved the house and space. Unfortunately, we had 2 unanswered messages to the hosts. The lack of communication was really disappointing. The house itself and view of the water was beautiful!

Great place, my family really enjoyed the atmosphere and it felt like a temporary home. Couldn't let the dog stay outside though, the yard was not fenced as advertised. Creaking doors upstairs woke the 2 year old at night. Could use some more glass tumblers for drinks.

From the first step in the house me and my grown up kid and their daughter were in love with the house. Our son and his fa
Silly live here and we came to meet a new granddaughter so we put up a tree for the stay and had our holiday time. The craftsmanship was beautiful and although we had fog most of the time we loved the view. We will rent it again for sure if the need arrives.

The house was clean and very comfortable. Silverware, bedding, refer, oven, coffee maker, shower and linens were excellent! We would choose it again!

We loved how clean and roomy and homey the house was. I love walking around in socks or bare feet and I had NO dirt residue on my feet, which for it being a more humid climate and hardwood floors, pretty impressive. The house was super clean, all the amenities we needed, the beds were super comfy and the house was very quiet for being an older built home. If I have any negative criticism, it would be the backyard. They had such a nice outdoor couch along with a grill but everything was wet, dirty and the yard looked like it had been forgotten about. We were hoping to have sat outside a bit and let our grandchild run around but it was too messy and all kinds of moldy crab apples on the ground to allow that. But the inside of the house was great! We would definitely stay here again but would love for the backyard to be as cared for as the inside of the house

The house is in a great location! The listing shows all the rooms perfectly. The house was clean and well equipped. Communication was very limited. The house had a unique smell and we couldn’t open windows due to no screens anywhere in the house except for one upstairs bedroom.

Our 7 member family gathered for a week in this lovely spacious home in quiet neighborhood which was within easy walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants on Tacoma waterfront. The home was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The description states two parking spots in back of house, but recommend only one car park there as it is very tight quarters for entering & exiting or risk scraping your cars on retaining walls. Would have liked a bit better communication from owner prior to visit regarding a few questions that i had regarding backyard seating (none) and parking. Overall, would still recommend the home for stay.

I decided on this house based on the interior style & price point. We arrived and the house was just as pictured! It was clean and we felt immediately comfortable. The character, charm and decor was sweet and reminded me of my grandmothers house.
We felt perfectly at home there.
At first we were concerned with the lack of curtains but that quickly passed - it’s a safe area and the house is high above street level. Its a lovely neighbourhood, super close to the water and walking trails.
The only thing I would suggest, is adding screens to the windows or doors. It would be super nice to air it out and let the fresh air in! Even if only in the upper rooms, I think it would add to the experience.
Overall great place, would recommend and stay again!

We stayed in this beautiful home for my daughter’s college graduation. Had ample rooms and beds. Home and linens were very clean. We all enjoyed walks around the neighborhood and walking to The Spar for cocktails and live music on Saturday night. Would definitely stay again if we needed a large home in a great area of Tacoma.

Spacious and bright, with a lovely view of Commencement Bay - this house was a pleasure.
Beds were all comfy, and four adults had plenty of space to stretch out and relax.
I plan to stay here again the next time I am in Tacoma for a conference.
