Great location! There were some maintenance and cleanliness issues with the property but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Overall, it’s a lovely house, see title. But there are only 3 useable bedrooms, not 4 as advertised. The basement bedroom has a bed so uncomfortable no one stayed down there. You also hear every upstairs footstep. There’s no coffee table in living room - inconvenient. There’s a leak in a closet and one toilet runs nonstop. We kept turning off the water between uses. Communication w/ owner wasn’t good. The 3 stars are because we loved that kitchen and the view, and the house was very clean.
PS, the patio furniture is literal garbage - plastic and covered in dirt/mold. It mostly rained so we didn’t sit out there anyway, but that’s unacceptable.

We spent a week here with our family and found it to be very accommodating for our needs. There was plenty of space. We had what we needed to prepare breakfast and other meals. We were surprised to see deer in this neighborhood.

Sunsets off the deck were amazing. Nice backyard for kids to play in, with a park just down the hill. Plenty of room and a large kitchen for cooking with all the essentials there. Will be back again!

Tom’s house met all our needs and then some! Clean and well apportioned property with a nice view of the Narrows bridge. Bedrooms were great, with comfy bedding and pillows. Kitchen met all our families needs and there was no issues with parking.
TV’s supplied plenty of entertainment and the tile shower in the master bedroom was nice.
Laundry and diswasher are included so cleaning was a breeze.

We can't thank Thomas enough for allowing us to stay in his home while we were doing some remodeling work of our own across the bridge. The location was so convenient that once my family was able to return home, my husband extended his stay to include out-of-town business colleagues who were all working together for a few weeks.
It was a beautiful home for our family to stay in, and being so close to the Narrows Bridge, we had no problem commuting to Gig Harbor every day, so life continued on as normal for us. It turned out to be very useful for the business guests as well, being close to my husband's office, etc.
Great home and neighborhood with a pretty view of the Narrows Bridge, its backdrop of the Olympic mountain range, and no end to the amazing sunsets.
The downside is it is located near Pao's Donuts, which could be a problem. :)
Thanks again, Thomas!

A little Tacoma treasure
We just spent 8 days and 7 nights in Thomas’s home sweet home!
First, Thomas was very courteous over email/message answering any questions we might have! Ponctual and trust is a necessity with sharing your house. He is/has that.
We had a fantastic time in Thomas’s home. The house is big and offer multifacets!
Major highlights are: 3 bathrooms helps a lot when you are 6 individuals (Major reason we picked the house) and the rooms are very spacious; there were no issues of space. The family room on the top floor is perfect for gathering and play game as needed. The Kitchen is big and all is needed as far as supplies go with a big fridge if you have a lot of groceries which we did as well as dishwasher. The downstairs living room is great to hang out in the evening and the TV has all the smart applications we use today (read Netflix, nfl. Hulu, etc.). There is a washer and dryer as well which was awesome to use prior to our departure. The house is well stocked in blankets, extra sheets, etc as well which is very appreciated. The outside in the back is big and great for BBQ. A grill and fire pit are available to use if you feel like it.
The house itself is very well located on the west end of Tacoma offering a gorgeous view on the Narrows bridge drinking your coffee in the morning, very quiet during the night but also very accessible since the I5 is like 6 min driving distance on one side, Gig harbor on the other, Vashon island departure ferry as well as Point Defiance.
There is also 6 min away a full store/mall to get your groceries and latest necessity! We really enjoyed staying in such a spacious space! It was perfect for us and if we do come back; we will keep Thomas’s home in our mind!

Home was perfect!
We rented the home as the weekend base camp for a wedding party to stay together. The home was clean, organized, great location, lots of room, and comfortable. The master bedroom was perfect for the bridal party on wedding day, lots of room to set up and get ready, worked out perfectly. Neighborhood was quiet and lots of street parking.
Fantastic home, great stay :)

Excellent!
Our family of 10 (3 generations) stayed at this property for 3 nights to attend my 4 month old grandson's "meet the baby" party. My daughter and son-in-law live near Tacoma and they also had family visiting from England. The house is very clean and well appointed, especially the kitchen which is great because we did a lot of cooking. The deck and backyard are also nice and the view is to die for. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of extra linens and towels. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the highway.
One of the bedrooms and bath, along with the family room, is in the basement and it is a little dark but we didn't spend much time there anyway. Between all of us, we have stayed in our share of vacation rentals around the world and we all agree this one was the best. Highly recommended!

Nicely appointed, clean home in a great location
We really enjoyed our stay at Thomas' home. It was in a perfect location for our weekend of activities in Gig Harbor, Tacoma and Spanaway.
The house was clean and well appointed. We didn't take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen, though it didn't appear to lack anything except for us to provide ingredients. All the appliances were in very good working order, and the coffee drinkers were happy with the availability of the nice machine.
The beds were firm but fairly comfortable, and there was a plentiful supply of clean towels for the three full baths.
Communication from Thomas was prompt and informative throughout the process. This one will definitely be first on our list for when we return to the area!

Beautiful Staycation with a View
I brought my family south for a fun weekend get away. This spacious house was perfect for us. The view from the front porch was beautiful, especially at sunset.
The owner was very accommodating, quick to respond, and gave some great recommendations for food and activities. We spent one of our days at Pointe Defiance park, it was just a few minutes away, and was amazing.
Highly recommend this place.
