We had an awesome weekend in the quiet mountain town

We stayed here last year! It is perfect for our yearly trip! Not far from where we go! We really like it here! It was Me, my mom, n our great grandbabies(great great also) Blessed we are!
We plan on returning next year! Lord willing!

This located is equal distances between my sister and I. We met to enjoy the weekend and the home did not disappoint! It is clean, well maitained and is incredibly organized. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils & basic supplies. Beds are in excellent condition and bedding was clean amd plush.

The house was very clean. Kitchen has all you need. Beautiful view of the river and dam. It is a very quiet and restful place. Great place to stay if you want to use the New River Trail. The host is very responsive and gracious. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a wonderful place. We sat on the front porch in the afternoon and could here the new river dam. The kitchen was very well outfitted with all the utensils we needed and the place was very clean.

The two days we went to Fries it was cold and rained constantly, so there wasn't any hiking and such. The house is lovingly remodeled and updated (and cozy!), so it wasn't a hardship staying in. Puzzles, movies, and reading by the gas-log fireplace. Great meals in local restaurants; nice view from the covered porch; and NO traffic! Peaceful weekend.

Very comfortable small house had everything you might need. Loved listening to the river from the front porch. I will admit I wasn't a fan of the winding 2 lane roads to get to the house.

The property was BETTER than advertised! The house was spotless; and had a lovely blend of original features and modern touches. There were many touches that made it very comfortable such as quality shampoo and body wash in the shower and coffee available to use in the coffee maker. The hosts provided good communication and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this rental.
