Relax in our modern and clean condo nestled on a forested Muskoka hillside. This 2 bedroom newly built (2019) condo, with underfloor heating throughout is the perfect city getaway, 2.5 hours from downtown Toronto. Our home offers the convenience of fibre internet; reliable to keep you connected to work or stream your favourite Netflix show. Explore Huntsville's year round beauty, with nearby Arrowhead and Algonquin parks. Deerhurst resort restaurants, golf and spa are just steps away.
THE SPACE
Modern and spacious ground floor condo, which features brand new furnishings throughout.
Stay warm and cozy with radiant underfloor heating and a gas fireplace in the winter, or cool off with central air in the summer.
Both the primary bedroom and living room have peaceful views out on to the forest, and partial views of Peninsula Lake in winter.
Our 2 bedroom condo is best suited for a maximum of 2 couples, featuring a primary bedroom with a king bed and en-suite, and a second bedroom with a queen bed and separate bathroom. If you want to bring your furry friend, pet requests for a single well behaved dog will be considered and an additional pet cleaning fee will apply (please see house rules).
The kitchen has dishware, flatware, cooking utensils, pots, pans and baking trays, along with the basics; salt, pepper and oil. Keurig coffee machine and pods to get you started in the morning.
Bed linen and towels are provided in the bedrooms, just bring your favourite bathroom products and relax.
For groceries and anything you may have forgotten, there are two large grocery stores in town, a Metro and an Independent (Loblaws) just 10 minutes away.
Strong Wi-Fi signal is received throughout the condo and there is a Samsung Smart TV.
Huntsville is a year round destination with a variety of activities to enjoy. In the summer, take your pick from boating, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding or golfing. Once fall arrives, you can enjoy the many hiking trails in the nearby provincial parks or directly behind the condo, where you will see a spectacular array of fall colours. In winter, you can snowshoe on those same trails before returning to the condo, admiring the partial lake view from the comfort of the sofa in front of the fire.
We hope you have a memorable stay and love our home and the area as much as we do!
GUEST ACCESS
Guests are invited to park a single vehicle in front of the building, with an additional vehicle permitted in the lower parking lot. All parking is free to guests.
Other things to note:
- Since the condo is wood frame rather than concrete, occasionally you may hear some sound from adjacent units.
- There is currently a condo building being constructed further up the hill, which results in some noise during the working week and building supply deliveries which may reduce parking access very occasionally. The view from the unit is unobstructed and will continue to remain as shown in the photos.
- Entry to the condo is along a gravel pathway and requires the use of stairs, sadly it is not fully accessible to all.
Pet Rules: You may request to bring a single well behaved dog, sorry no other pets allowed. If you are bringing a dog, we do charge an additional $50 cleaning fee per stay. We kindly ask that you bring your own dog bed and that your pup isn't allowed on the sofas or beds. Condo rules require your dog to be on leash when outside at all times please.

Outstanding property - spacious, clean, well-stocked and a quick drive to Main Street in Huntsville. Excellent communication with owner and our vacation was made perfect because of the rental. Thanks, Chris for the hospitality and your home!

Clean and exactly as depicted on website. Sufficient space for 2 adults with a dog. Has all amenities including doggie bags and food bowl! A bit challenging getting into unit with small landing and steep stairs. Great location for exploring the area, including Algonquin park, and Lumberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve. Excellent communication with host.

A functional and very clean condo - appreciated. The area has major construction going on, which is a little disruptive going and coming, also for parking. The main entrance to the condo takes you down a narrow and very steep set of stairs one full level and it can be tricky and a test with luggage etc. The main bed is about a foot off the ground, making it a challenge to get out of. The place is layed out great and offers what you need to be comfortable. Chris the host, is top notch - very responsive and helpful. I would recommend the place however, be aware of the comments. Thanks Chris.

This is a lovely new property, fantastically clean, with a very convenient layout and lovely treed view. Chris was immensely helpful with every question and has a very helpful website with all the information needed. Chris is also upfront about the fact that it is not the most easily accessible apartment, so be prepared for steps & gravel pathway. I’d highly recommend for those wanting a new, clean, convenient & well appointed apartment to explore Muskoka.

Stayed here for the Muskoka Rodeo Ski event that was held at the nearby Hidden Valley Ski Resort. Location was ideal and the accommodation is pet friendly. Deerhurst Resort with their restaurants and kids activities is a short walk across the street. Condo was clean and well maintained. Kitchen tools/accessories were much better stocked than typically offered at condo rentals. Thank you Chris.

My wife, our dog and I stayed at Chris's property in Muskoka over the weekend and really enjoyed it. The apartment is fairly new, very clean and has everything you need in a rental property in Muskoka. Its also pretty quiet and has a decent patio for relaxing. It is right across from Deerurust Resort and has a private beach that is 10 minute's walk away. Chris was very welcoming throughout the process and answered all of our questions in a very timely manner. Highly recommend. Thanks Chris!
