very good food in the restaurant

The spa was simple but nice and the quality of the food at dinner was excellent. The location was good with very nice views and access to trails. It just happen to be on our route and worked out.
The room was very old and in need of updating. The pillows were terrible. A bit over priced from the perspective of the cost of a hotel room.

Convenient for our walking of the Via Francigena. A popular place with travellers and locals. The restaurant was very adequate and the food well presented and tasty. Great location.
The hotel is going through a refurbishment and although our room was a bit dated in decor and facilities, it was adequate for us. Any refurbishment is disruptive and can be inconvenient but I wish the owners all the luck in the world because when complete I'm certain it will be even more popular than it is now if that's possible.

sublime spa, welcoming staff and owner, amazing area

The non liking relates to the room I was in. The people on the other hand are friendly and cooperative. E.g. I forgot my rain trousers and upon finding it they
sent it to me free of charge. Which is a rare action here in Switzerland.
The pictures on the website paint a fresh look of the rooms whereas in reality the room I got was dark, shabby, lacked light bulbs and seemed not to have been touched since they constructed the place.

We were offered a superior room for 10fr more and it was really a very good deal - spacious large bed with a nice bathroom and shower and ammenities. Towels were fluffy and warmed up by the heater. Tea and coffee in-room much appreciated. Plus , robes were available with slippers to acess the renewed and cozy spa. Staff very smiley and welcoming.
Amazing food in a cozy restaurant with alpine atmosphere. A simple ceasar salad was served with creativity and tasteful. Risotto with funghi and
Shrimps was also yummy.
Breakfast was simple but croissants great!
Early check out at 10…
Tv a bit too small for the spacious room.

The room was very outdated and dusty. Lighting was bad.

Perfect spot on the way to Italy. I enjoyed hiking in the surroundings. The hotel is a bit outdatet but it did not matter at all. The friendly owners and staff, as well as the food made up for it.

The owners and staff were super nice!
The old house has a soul, mixed with new renovated parts like bathroom and Spa.
Waking up with a view to the beautiful mountains.
The location is on the main road to the tunnel/pass of St. Bernard, what made people stopping on the sunny terrace after ski touring.
The dinner was very good with special preparation of different meals.
