We had a great stay with the family at this property. I was a bit concerned it may feel too small but the open concept floor plan and high ceilings made it feel super roomy. The hosts were very responsive and flexible and the beds comfortable. Super easy access to downtown and a perfect location for the family. Would absolutely stay again!

This house is in a perfect location, close to great restaurants, Clumpies Ice Cream, playgrounds as well as museums. The house was clean and well equipped with all kitchen necessities (Whole Foods is also a 10 minute drive) so I was able to cook all of our lunches and breakfasts. All and all, a wonderful stay and I'd gladly stay again when visiting the Chattanooga area.

We were thrilled to find this property. It was in the neighborhood we wanted, close to family we were visiting. Once we were there, the house exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed was there - stocked kitchen, extra linens, books and games, laundry, you name it. Plus the vibe was so welcoming. Beautifully decorated and fabulous front porch with swing. We can't wait to come back!

We had an excellent stay at the Swallowtail. We were originally booked at another property but that property had a water leak so we had to be moved. But we were not disappointed! There was plenty of space in this home. We especially enjoyed the front porch swing. It is in an excellent location- close to anything you would want to do during your stay. We were able to walk to get ice cream at Clumpeys. 5 stars for sure!

We came to Chattanooga for a family weekend away with my son and granddaughters. Swallowtail was absolutely perfect for us—plenty of space for the adults, and a fantastic bedroom with huge bunk beds for the kids. They were over the moon with how cozy and welcoming their room was. The entire home had nothing lacking; we had plenty of pillows, bedding, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary items, (and then some!) and a full laundry made for a perfect weekend. We were able to walk to the Northshore for lunch, ice cream, for the kids to play in the park, and enjoy the sunset over the river. The home is just a short drive across the river, or if you wish, walk across the walking bridge (+/- 2 miles total) to get downtown to Ross’s Landing, the Children’s Museum, and all of the amazing thing to do downtown. We had an absolutely wonderful time and are looking forward to coming back again.

Home is very well cared for, communication was excellent, and you can't beat the location! The kiddos loved running around in the backyard and swinging on the porch swing.

We had a great stay and the property manager was very responsive. We have a large family and there was plenty of room for all of us. About a 20 to 30 minute walk to the river parks and aquarium. Quiet older neighborhood with lots of great renovation going on. We would stay here again.

This little house was a great place for our party of 6 adults and 3 young children. The host was responsive and helpful. Easy parking, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and great location. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a good time here. It was clean, functional, and well appointed. We all walked from the house across the walking bridge to the aquarium and explored the surrounding area. We had four adults & four kids under 10. All the kids slept in the bunk room and the adults had their own rooms.

Immaculately maintained, beautiful home in a great location in north Chattanooga! We used to live in Chattanooga and this is one of our favorite areas of town. There is a room with two large bunk beds perfect for school age children complete with games and books. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, linens, and comfy throw blankets. Keurig coffee pot and some stocked snacks and k cups. It exceeded our expectations!

I wanted to take my family on a long weekend to Chattanooga. I wanted for us to be all together so we could visit. Swallowtail interested me because it was just over the River from downtown. What we had was truly a jewel. The house was wonderful. It has been beautifully restored. The front porch and swing were a bonus! We were only a mile from the pedestrian bridge. There were three rooms. One was the master with a full bath and the other bedrooms shared a Jack and Jill full bath. There was also another half bath that made it nice if the two full baths were occupied. There was a very large and comfortable living area, then a dining area, and a huge kitchen. The house was extremely clean and nicely decorated. All the amenities were include like a kcup coffee machine and lots of towels. The house was in a nice neighborhood. I will definitely be going back! Don’t miss this opportunity.

Perfect location for everything we wanted to do. Perfect bedroom and bathroom accommodations for our family and dogs. Would book again. We were 2 65+ ladies, two 39,40 adults, one 12 yr old and two small older dogs. Definitely recommend.

Down with family for MDW. Great location near the pedestrian bridge (~0.8 miles), though have a steep hill to get there by foot. Easy to get around the city from the house and nice quiet neighborhood

My husband and I and our two dogs went to explore Chattanooga for a long weekend and decided on this rental and really so happy we did. Everything was perfect, so perfect we ended up staying there more than our intended purpose. We felt right at home and would definitely recommend and will stay there again should we ever be back in the area.

We had a group of 7 people who went to Chattanooga for the weekend. This house was perfect for our group. It's a short walk down to the waterfront where Walnut Street Bridge, Coolidge Park, and lots of great restaurants are. It's about a 5-10 minute car ride to downtown Chattanooga. The house would also be great for two couples with multiple small kids. There are two main bedrooms and the middle room has two large bunk beds with lots of games space for the kids. The host had great coffee options, snacks, and other small touches that made everyone feel welcome. Easy check in and check out process.

We had a great stay! The king bed was nice and firm and pillows were perfect. My kids loved the bunk room. Everything was impeccably clean and the pictures/description were very accurate. The house was well stocked, which was a nice surprise compared to some other properties not only did they have shower essentials in both bathrooms, every sink had a full hand soap! The porch swing was a nice place to sit and drink coffee in the morning and it’s location on the north side was very easy to get to the main strip on the north side and easy to cross over towards downtown. We would absolutely stay here again.

The house was great! Clean and well stocked, minus measuring cups. Would have appreciated those, but we made it work. We appreciated the little extras: snacks, water bottles, games, puzzles, books, even a dog bowl. Plenty of towels, pillows, and comfy blankets.
We only had a small issue with the access number for the lock on the front door, but Stephanie was very quick to respond and help us get it fixed.
We would definitely stay here again!

This house was amazing!! We had six adults and two children under three and it was perfect for us!!! There was so much attention to details. There were snacks, water, coffee and creamer waiting on us. The bathrooms were also well stocked. They all had cotton balls, q-tips, makeup removal wipes and lotion. The towels were huge and soft. All the beds were really comfortable. I really just can’t say enough nice things about this place. We are already making plans to go back.
