Brilliant and lovely hosts

Location excellent and view from the room was fabulous.

It’s a very small thing but the wine glasses could have been nicer and plastic cups in the bathroom , could have done with a washing up brush in the kitchen, but as I said these are tiny things , I would stay again.

Loved it!

The apartment is located at the perfect spot..it offers nice view also all the restaurants and entertainment venues are really close.. Also parking is not too expensive and very good availability... Mainly, our host was really helpful and friendly.

Whilst the location is great, be prepared for a little noise in the evenings from Adventure Island. Not a dislike, just an FYI.

Fabulous in every way!

Everything about the Pier view is excellent, Ed is a fabulous host and we would come back tomorrow. High quality apartment with thoughtful touches everywhere. It is in a very central location, and use of the beautiful communal lounge and balcony was a brilliant option.

Best place we have stayed in Southend-on-Sea. We will return.

The apartments are in a beautiful old building on the Royal Terrace, walking distance to trains, buses, bars and restaurants. Loved the amount of space we had and the extra little touches, the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Also loved the lounge area where we could sit and chat when not in our apartment. Great views from the balcony.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Superb

Fantastic host, couldn't do enough even carried our bags to our room. Lovely location overlooking the seafront. Not noisy with the window closed. Right near the town center but far enough away. Parking outside on the road, (pay and display) host will help with organising a day rate which was very nice.

Pier View Apartments

Stunning Georgian building, sympathetically decorated. We loved our weekend stay there. Meet by the owner who showed us the apartment, really friendly and informative. Very comfortable, lots of little extras, could not fault anything. Close to Southend High Street and the Beach, lovely views especially from the communal lounge where we watched the fireworks from. The communal lounge is stunning . Look forward to staying again

Very spacious suite with lovely sea views

Location is perfect, with a lovely view of the sea and the pier. "Princess Caroline" had a very big bedroom and a separate dining room and kitchenette. Ed met us on arrival, took our luggage into the property, showed us the apartment and explained a few things, and our luggage mysteriously appeared outside our door (thank you, Mag?). There was biscuits, milk and orange juice in the fridge and preserves for breakfast. The duvet was not too thick and we could regulate the temperature of the radiators, which is nice. You just know that Ed does care that his guests enjoy their stay.

The shower door is a little stiff and it would be lovely to have marmalade as well as the jam which is provided but I am really nit-picking here, I wholly recommend Pier View Hotel, you won't be disappointed.

A very good apartment with nice view and good amenities, but the last stairs! Ed’s customer service was great though!

Location was perfect. The view was great. The property was clean with a lot of convenience stuff for self catering. Ed was very keen and helpful. He was regularly maintaining good personal relationship. He was helpful before, during and after the stay. Rooms were of good size. Additional entertainment ps3 and movies for the kids were available.

The property was on the second floor and that was fine. The problem though was the very steep inside stairs that gets you from the door of the apartment to the rooms. Once you pass this obstacle you can feel comfortable. Also, the kitchen was a bit small.

Stayed with our small family. Hotel in a great location with good parking. Ed was a great host, lots of local knowledge. Our room was very clean and bed very comfy, we’re hoping to return again.

Pier View

Great apartment. Just as advertised. Staff where brilliant in the run up answering our questions and making helpful suggestions and this continued throughout our stay. It’s a compact apartment but we knew that when we booked it and it still has a kitchen and two bathrooms plus the bedrooms dining room and lounge area. Was a great location to spend time by the sea front and make trips to Leigh on Sea.

Just what we needed

Location was ideal. Parking very convenient. Host was friendly, accommodating and helpful. Customer lounge was lovely. Bedroom was large and comfortable. Kitchen diner was cosy. Bathroom was adequate.

Pier view - a beautiful stay

Beautifully decorated in fresh calm colours and furniture to suit the property- had everything and more for our super stay. The king size bed kindly put to a twin for us. Nothing was too much trouble - highest recommendations to Ed and his accommodation with great views
