Bien mais un peu déçu

Le charme de l’établissement et l’emplacement

J’ai choisis l’hôtel pour l’emplacement mais aussi pour son parking, au final on apprend que le parking est plein et qu’il coûte 30€ en supplément. J’ai été déçu à l’ouverture de la porte car la chambre ne ressemblait pas aux photos que j’avais vu, j’étais pas préparé à voir la baignoire à 50cm du lit et d’être dans une pièce très étroite. Pas de volet à disposition avec une exposition droit vers le lever de soleil… Cependant la dame de l’accueil était très pro et souriante.

Dit hotel is een parel. We hebben er een geweldige ervaring gehad. Als je binnenkomt, lijkt een reis in de tijd naar de belle epoque. Alle details zijn goed verzorgd, het personeel is zeer vriendelijk, vol aandacht en behulpzaam. Het bed was prima, het ontbijt voortreffelijk, de decoratie van het hotel ongelofelijke mooi. We hadden een kamer met een antichambre. Dat was zeer charmante.

Een douche nemen in het bad was moeilijk. De gordijnen bedekten niet goed genoeg en er kwam veel water op de grond. Het vinden van de ingang van het hotel was even moeilijk.

Best accommodation ever!

It is an amazing boutique hotel!! If you are going to Lyon you must stay here, the location is perfect to walk to all the cute sites easily. The whole hotel’s furnishings are so cool, was such a vibe. 10/10 loved it.

this hotel has been restored with a lot love to details, well done! super nice and helpful staff. i ordered coffee to the room as a surprise for my wife’s birthday morning and it came with a piece of a delicious cake with a candle! thank you, would come back!

the washbasin had two separate faucets for cold and for hot water, so it was not possible to mix for warm water…

Dream trip, loved it!

Beautiful hotel, amazing location, stunning rooms and views. Luxurious deep bath. Comfortable beds. They serve a really delicious breakfast and staff are so lovely and friendly! Highly recommend!

Great for walkers looking to explore the city

Location was absolutely perfect - within a 10-15 min walk of most sites, 35-40 of everything. Cute local shops and boulangeries within a 10 min walk

Unforgettable hotel, highly recommended

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, one of those unique places with a lot of personality that you’ll always remember; every tiniest detail is intentionally taking you back to a different time. it’s worth staying at just because of the atmosphere! My room was spacious and beautifully furnished, clean and well supplied with good-quality toiletries, water bottles (provided every day), fluffy towels. The bed was super comfortable and so was the bath. The room itself and the hotel are very quiet; on my 2nd night there were kids making a lot of noise in another building, I asked the staff to see if they could make them stop and they took care of it. Indeed the staff was super kind and helpful, and the breakfast was lovely, with home made cakes and good coffee—plus gluten-free and dairy-free options. The location is great, right in the city center, but quiet at the same time. I would 100% stay again and recommend this hotel to anyone!

On my first morning I found the cleaning lady in the room as I came back from breakfast, and I thought she could have cleaned a bit better, but the room was overall clean. My room was on the ground floor so it was a bit dark. Also, the TV is placed so that you don’t really have anywhere to sit to watch it 😅 as the bed is in an adjacent room, and there’s only one chair where the TV is. Not a problem for me but other people might care.

Overall a pleasant stay

Great location and character hotel.

Wasn’t aware of the stairs to get to the lobby. Thankfully the staff assisted. Breakfast was awful and a complete waste of money. Was told it would cost 15 euro and was charged more than that. Rooms could do with dusting but overall pleasant to stay in. The « courtyard » isn’t really a courtyard…would’ve purchased the room with city view if there was more transparency around that.
