My sister and I stayed here for an extended weekend. The home is an older brick bungalow with tons of charm and character in a historic district on a quiet street.
Although the neighborhood looks a little rundown it was still quiet and we felt safe. The home was very clean with the exception of the bathroom baseboards that need a good wipe down.
The beds and pillows were very comfy and bed linens were nice.
It’s in close proximity to restaurants and Beale St which I suggest going to. Many vegan restaurants in the area as well.
We did have a few issues and the two main ones we brought to Adam’s attention in which he quickly responded to. The main one being the bathroom in the hallway never had hot water. My sister used that bathroom and said it was barely room temp after letting it run for ten minutes. The windows in the dinning room, the kitchen and the full length glass on the front door had/have no curtains or blinds which made us uncomfortable, again I brought that to Adam’s attention
The ceiling fan on the back deck would never turn on. Not a big deal unless you sit out there in the afternoon.
I would suggest more pots and pans for cooking and perhaps more bowls for storing leftovers.
I would also suggest supplying more bath towels. We only had two actual bath towels each for 3 nights with several much smaller towels that were more like large hand towels, definitely not for drying off after a shower.
With that being said it was still a nice stay.

This was our second trip to Memphis and we brought our Elvis-loving daughter and treated her to a great time! We chose this property because we thought she'd love the decor. We walked through and she said "This place is fantastic!" and we agree. Beautifully decorated, great price, great location, great communication with owner. Would gladly stay again!! Wonderful experience!!

Walking distance to several Restaurants and enjoyed exploring the sights, sounds and food on Beale Street. Don’t miss happy hour at the Kooky Canuck! From Graceland, Sun Records tour, and the Civil Rights museum it was a treasure of information. Biggest surprise was the Peabody Ducks and the history tour by the Duck Master - do not miss this one.

We really enjoyed our stay! We had a wedding at Bass Pro, it was very easy to get to. It was a great location, close to everything. I felt safe, which was important to me. Owner was easy to respond with and always answered promptly. Will stay again if we get back to the area.

We loved the house and the neighborhood felt very safe. Nicely decorated and exactly as listed

This house is good for small groups and the location is good. It is approximately 10 minutes from downtown and is a short walk from the Cooper-Young district. The house is older but has been updated. It was too cold to sit outside but the backyard looked cool.
There was only one downside and it was not the owner's fault. One of the neighbors has a dog which barks incessantly and that dog was let outside between 7-8 every day, so be sure to bring a sound machine to drown out the dog.
Otherwise, it was a great stay!

What a wonderful home! The location was fantastic! We walked to several different restaurants and shops. The neighborhood is very quiet and well taken care of. The house itself has a historic vibe but is very modern. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch and back patio. The bedrooms are VERY spacious. We will definitely book this home again.

Nice house, nice location. The property has some minor deferred maintenance. The back porch and yard need some work. Also, the shower valve in the main shower has some adjustment problems. There were some minor cleanliness issues with the master shower floor and the kitchen sink cabinet and waste basket. Our stay, however, was very pleasant and the location perfect. Thanks again.

I recommend staying at this home. It was clean and the neighborhood was very near Cooper Young neighborhood which has a great coffee shop to walk to in the morning. We visited Graceland, Soul Music Museum, National Civil Rights Museum and a Beale Street. Enjoyed the porch as the weather was great in the evening. We are from Wisconsin so the weather is too cool for being outside in the evening without a jacket usually in October. Thank you, Adam.

We loved the bunglaow and the location. Back porch was a great "happy hour" spot. Easy walk to several restaurants and bars. Felt very safe walking wherever we wanted to go. Great proximity to University of Memphis campus, a bonus we were not expecting. One minor issue, the house had an odor. A couple of us thought it was the plug in "air freshener" but we couldn't all come to an agreement. Each time you entered the house it hit you. Something Adam may want to look into.

This bungalow is so lovely. It looks exactly like the photos. Perfect location for our girl’s trip. No longer than a 15 minute drive to anywhere we wanted to go. We loved being able to walk a couple of blocks for dinner on Cooper Street. The house is very clean and inviting. We loved the screened in patio for cocktails and cards. Adam is a wonderful host. Would highly recommend this property.

We have family in Memphis and were looking for a location for those who were out-of-towners to stay. The Retro Bungalow hit the spot perfectly! It was in a great location and the property was exactly what we needed. The amenities were great and there were so many nice touches that made it a wonderful stay. Adam was very responsive and accommodating to our requests and questions. We would definitely like to stay here again!

This was such a cute place. We loved the character of the home and neighborhood. Neighbors were very friendly. The owners went above and beyond checking in due to some bad storms in the area. Would stay again!

This place was perfect for my wife, our 17 year old and 1 year old. We had a great stay here and the location was great as well. Right around the corner from Soul Fish Cafe and a 5 minute drive to the Zoo. Everything was just as listed and we really enjoyed our time here.

Highly encourage for anyone to book at this property.
Plenty of space, clean, safe, and overall fun!
The manager was quick to respond and the property is close to both downtown and Graceland.
Dont think twice, book with them asap!

This house is exactly as represented in the pictures. It is in a great neighborhood on a fairly quiet street. The front porch and the screen porch on back are just wonderful for relaxing. The beds are very comfortable with firm mattresses. It is just a short drive to Beale Street and Graceland. There is a lot for food and drink within a few block radius. Adam was terrific. He was super responsive and answered our questions in a very timely manner. The only suggestion I would give is to possibly add some more cookware for people that are eating in. However, we certainly made do with what we had. If I am ever in Memphis again, I will definitely be trying this house first!

This house was updated and decorated so lovely. There was plenty of comfy bedding and towels for all six of us. The owners gave us a pack n play to use, no charge, when we asked for one. They were also quick to communicate and answer all of my questions. We really appreciate their recommendations of places to go with our children.

Adam's home is charming and lovely, and the same can be said for the neighbors. The bedrooms were comfortable, the bathrooms clean and spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were lucky enough to catch the CY Porch Fest and fell in love with the neighborhood. We will definitely look to stay here again when visiting!

When I say this home was perfect for my family and I’m a wonderful neighborhood that was in walking distance of delicious restaurants. My family enjoyed our weekend staying there and will be booking another weekend very soon. Very convenient to the Zoo and Beale St as well. I rate it a 10 out of 10
