We stayed in Rm 8. Not the easiest to drag suitcases up the very narrow staircase. Unbelievably surprised at the TINY bathroom sink - totally deceiving in the online pictures. Toilet flush very noisy, sometimes doesn't flush properly. We had ocean view, but glass windows were full of spots/dirty, which obstructed view. Listened to people above us move chairs or tables around, slam doors in the very late night and early, early morning - very noisy. The small bathroom area and lack of space to place toiletries, suitcases was the worst. I would not choose to stay here again or recommend to others. The only positive was that the room was clean.

The Cove is an absolutely perfect spot in Rockport to enjoy the gorgeous views and quaint New England charm. the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the outdoor areas provide the perfect space to relax and take in the setting.

The location could not have been better! Right on the ocean and walking distance to the shops, coffee and food. Cute and quaint. Will def stay again. This was charming. One note, you can hear right through the walls so bring ear plugs.

We wanted to be on the beach in Rockport so we booked this hotel on the expedia website . The evening prior to checking in the Cove at Rockport sent us a link to upload our personal information. Not wild about uploading private info but i did. They then sent me a link to follow for virtual keys ie codes. It was confusing and frustrating so we called the hotel and had to leave a voicemail. It seems there is no front desk or even in person check in work on the property! They called us back with MORE directions. When we arrived at the front door of the property it was the wrong door . Called again to find out they were in an office at the property but no one came to open please tell….WHY couldn't they simply get up and open the door a few feet away?
For all this aggravation we then saw our same exact room #2 on their site for less money per evening for that day and the next nights!!!!
Ever feel as though you might have had enough? The Cove itself is clean however small without any amenities on premise even a front desk. Not a bad place to stay once our rate was adjusted. If you would like to stay here make sure you know exactly where your point of entry will be because if you arrive after dark you are screwed!!!!!

Lovely BnB in a very good location. We were unaware of virtual front desk until after booking. It is hidden in the expanded part of description. Also two flights of stairs with steep third floor makes luggage difficult. These issues should be more evident in todays APPs when booking given no refund policy

The room we stayed in (the basement of the Millbrook cottage) was spacious and clean. The kitchen was relatively well furnished (not a lot of dishes but ok). Overall our stay was pleasant, but we were surprised and disappointed by the level of noise coming from the apartment above us. Clearly this was not the other guests' fault, but rather a design flaw with the cottage. We could hear the neighbors as they got up at 6am every morning and ran around their apartment, and frankly we would not have chosen this place if we had know it would be this noisy.

What a great view from the property and the room. The room is cozy and inviting and it has air conditioning. The design is thoughtful. We spent our time between enjoying the views from our room or going to the beach that literally across the street.

Visiting family in Rockport, just needed a bed for one. My stay was off season and weekday when no restaurant or bar active. If it was a busy time my review would need to reflect the proximity of the room to the deck where service to the public would greatly impact noise and privacy factor.
The room was on the first floor and very accessible. Keypad security was easy. The room was very clean and well appointed. The view was great. The location was walking friendly to beach downtown, train station and parking was nearby.
One drawback was no loading area. Streets are not wide and pulling up to unload presents potential traffic hazard and threat of ticketing. The parking lot is not that far and the most direct way to The Cove is a nice path in Mill Pond Park a beautiful oasis with a pond, brook and lovely plantings. The park is next door to the Cove and truly a plus factor. Be prepared to lug your gear from parking to your room unless there are bell hop services on the day of your stay. Something to know ahead of time: A necessity not available is an ice machine. My room had a mini fridge and kept my off-site acquired ice cold.

Aside from the filter that needed to be replaced from their AC unit, staff was decent, cleanliness was great. Great location centered in the the town of Rockport, conveniently closer to all the attractions. Be aware, booking recommended straight through the Cove. They have a different check in process. It is contactless. You should receive an email or text instructions how to check in.

Beautiful location in a quiet little seaside town. Easy to get into our room. Great community room with games and cozy nooks. Only complaint is that there was no outlets next to the bed to charge a phone or for my husband cpap machine.

A wonderful benefit was the opportunity to use the Club room the day we checked out, plus the parking lot. Close to the downtown, an easy walk.

The property was nice. The heat didnt work in our room and it was a huge rain storm, so it was cold. And the keypad can be a hassle in bad weather. Other than that, nice place!

What a wonderful find. Wished I could have stayed longer. With the wide open Atlantic Ocean right in front of you and the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks, I slept like a baby. Great contact from Cove staff about their self check in process made it super easy, but I as a result, I never actually got to meet anyone. Easy walk down the Main Street with many interesting shops and artist studios. Just a few minutes away from the famous Bearskin Neck. My room was super clean, beautifully decorated with ocean color themes, a super comfy king size bed with more pillows than I knew what to do with, and lots of big windows looking out onto a beautiful meadow park with a small brook rolling through to the sea. I never closed as single drape. A framed print on the wall carried the simple inscription, "Let the sea set you free." I loved this place and would return in a heartbeat, if the occasion presents itself.

I was there off-season, mid-March. The room and property were in excellent condition. The king-size bed was comfortable and the linens were good quality with extra pillows in the closet. The room had an ocean view, and housekeeping was pristine. Not a crumb or anything else where it shouldn't be. TV and WiFi worked well. The only minor gripes was that I had to use a converter in one of the two accessible AC outlets for USB charging, and the sink is tiny, with a place for your bathroom supplies on a nearby table.
The restaurant Feather & Wedge was about a 15 minute walk, and the food and service were excellent.
Parking in Rockport is free during March, and if you don't like crowds, that is the time to go.
Overall, I highly recommend The Cove at Rockport.

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are so modern, have the best view, and is well stocked up. I highly recommend!! I can’t say enough good things. Location is amazing and I look forward to coming back!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cove. We were celebrating a friends birthday. Our accommodations were very comfortable and clean. Dining options were a bit limited due to being off-season. Would highly recommend this property overall.

Location and quality of hotel was very good. Hotel incl rooms were nicely decorated. Be aware that you can hear every word of your next door neighbors which comes along with the style of the hotel.
But the downside was that there was no service at all on-site. Self check-in, no room cleaning and minor breakfast options only Fri-Sun. But at least good hot beverages offer and some juices.
But we at least appreciated the free parking options.
