We loved our stay at Julie's property! It was her childhood home and is well cared-for. It seems larger than depicted in the photos. It's located on a very quiet residential street with lovely views of the ocean. The fresh ocean breezes were calming and relaxing. We enjoyed dining on the patio with an ocean view. There are many windows throughout the home to let in the breezes and the sunlight. The beds were comfortable; the towels were fluffy and abundant. It was a treat to have 2 dressers in each of the bedrooms so we didn't have to live out of suitcases. The home is conveniently located near local beaches and many activities. We took a kayak tour to an island with a light house, a sunset cruise on a schooner, a river boat cruise through an estuary, toured a castle, a mansion and the House of Seven Gables and shopped at lovely Bearskin Neck at the harbor. We played cornhole and Battleship and watched music videos on the huge TV. Julie lives nearby and was a wonderful and responsive host. We hope to return!

Julie’s house in south Rockport was the perfect blend of quaint NE charm with the modern amenities and conveniences a young family needs. The house was well appointed and included lovely views of the ocean. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio, playing yard games, and listening to the waves crash. 10/10!

We enjoyed our week stay at Julie & Jim's house - as always, the visit to Rockport was too short. I miss sitting outside in the evening, peeking at the ocean view, and watching the bunny rabbits munch on the grass!

Amazing property with view of the water. We have stayed at many VRBO rentals, but Julie's home was magnificent.

My family attended a wedding in Rockport and this little cottage was perfect! The cottage is vintage Rockport beach house with wonderful views of the ocean and at night, you can hear the waves. Nice sized yard, and very quiet near the end of the street. The cozy sun room was a favorite spot. Owner was super easy to work with, always answered my questions promptly and was delightful when showing us around the house at check in. Lovely walking on quiet roads and paths off Marmion and Old Garden areas. Highly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed three days at this gorgeous home as we explored Rockport, Gloucester and the surrounding area. We were very impressed! Not only was the home situated in a beautiful and quiet locale, with views of the bay from most windows, it also was immaculate, tastefully decorated, comfortable and well provisioned. Julie was a dream to interact with: accessible and very friendly. We were perfectly delighted with our stay and highly recommend this lovely home for other travelers.

I booked Julie and Jim's home to return to Rockport, a familiar and much-loved summer destination for my family. With children now grown and living in CT, NYC, and Maui, Julie's cozy home was the perfect setting for a week's rendezvous. The best location for walks into town or to the South End beaches, sitting outside enjoying meals overlooking the ocean, or sleeping soundly on comfortable beds (lulled by sounds of the sea). Julie was so welcoming and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The care and love reflected in the condition of her quintessential New England cottage was matched by Julie's care of her guests. Thank you, Julie and Jim!! We will be back!

The house was located within walking distance of Rockport with a lovely view of the ocean from it's patio.
We had everything we needed and it was clear that the owners had put a lot of effort into presenting the house at its best. It was comfortable, immaculately clean and contained all the amenities one expects to find in a vacation rental.
Julie and Jim, the owners were attentive and responsive. We couldn't have hoped for a more relaxing and enjoyable stay.
