Our family, adults and kids had a wonderful week on the lake! The house was great and spacious. We loved the dock and the beach area. My son brought his boat and the boat ramp was a big plus. Communication with the owner was easy. Thanks for sharing your Hideaway on the Lake!

This house was perfect for our family of adults and teens. The lake view was beautiful and everyone enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The floating island was also a big hit for the kids.

This home was a perfect getaway for our two families. It was clean and well stocked for cooking and entertainment outdoors. It is close to any shopping you can think of and a ton of restaurants. The host was very communicative. Loved our stay! Highly recommend this house! Would love to return in the future.

Like everyplace you stay - do you homework. If you do , you will likely pick this one.
As you see from the reviews, this house is practically new and is definitely amazing. 6 bedrooms with two TV/Family getaway rooms. Deck, Beach, and Dock are awesome and amenities are there (TP, Paper Towels, loaded kitchen stuff, even shower supplies). As other reviews share, two of the full baths are in two first floor bedrooms so upstairs 4 bedrooms share one bathroom. We had 10, so six (shared one bathroom. Wasn't a big deal for us, but be aware. Bring extra bathroom towels and life jackets if you have them, but otherwise the place has it all. It is beautiful, clean, and everything works great. We rented a boat and parked it by the dock - such a great beautiful beach location and water spot. Yes you are right by Perth Road and sometimes you hear traffic, but seriously - it didnt bother us - barely noticed it during the day and never at night.
Finally - Despite mixed notes - hard checkout at 10am. Cleaning crew was waiting on us, despite booking and site statement of 11am.
Thanks to Chris and Jason for a great stay, hope we can return next year.

We enjoyed our stay this weekend. The house is updated and very clean..things to improve on include extra towels, lawn care..the back yard when we arrived could have been cut especially the beach area. The weeds were at least 2 feet high..just when you have company coming the lawn should be cut. We arrived Thursday and the lawn service came Saturday afternoon…also I would have a clear explanation of the accessibility for boating. With the existing boat and jet skis at the dock requiring a different method for having a boat docked for your stay..it can be difficult to enter the boat from the dock because of the height of the dock to the entrance of the boat..docking the boat on shore is also limiting. Something to think about when your renting a lake house.

We loved every bit of this house positioned right on Lake Norman! The pictures don't do the home justice. The home was pristine, well-appointed and perfect for our family.

Overall this property was so beautiful and nice to stay at. We had a great time here and it was big enough to fit 11 of us and 3 of us had our own rooms. There were a few issues we ran into on the first day but it wasn’t anything to completely hinder our stay. And the host was great with communication, in regards to these issues. The lake view is beautiful and they had a great fishing spot too! I’d definitely recommend for a nice group getaway and we wouldn’t mind coming back either!

The house itself was great. Very clean and fresh (as you would expect from a newer home). The kids enjoyed the game room upstairs and fishing off the dock. Location is good, though traffic can be loud as the road next to home (45mph and a lot of traffic - even off-season). Bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely appointed, and having portable fans available is a nice touch (and often forgotten). Easy to get around town, and having a grocery store so close was ideal.
Unfortunately, the layout of the home isn't ideal for stays with multiple families. The upstairs features four bedrooms with only one bathroom, making things awkward to manage - especially when different families occupy the upstairs. Not totally clear in the listing.
The major issue we had was with the home's water supply. The water randomly stopped working and after contacting the host was told a plumber couldn't come until the next day. We decided to leave early, since we didn't want to be inconvenienced on our vacation. The water did eventually return, but not knowing why it stopped in the first place, we left in the middle of the night and let the host know.
After our stay, the host told us the water issue was likely due to us taking too many showers in a row. If we had been told that when we first contacted the host, we would have definitely stayed, so a very unfortunate lack of communication about how to fix the problem. The host denied our request for a refund for the day not spent at the property.

Overall very nice, spacious, clean, & new house. Lovely kitchen, and accommodations were all as should be expected. Host had excellent & lightning quick communication. Property is located next to a main road which proved noisy at night for some guests, but was nice for access in/out of the property. Traffic in this area is heavy and the many locals we spoke to claimed it's a constant headache in this upcoming area. However with this inconvenience, there was lot's nearby to do for food, drink, shopping, etc. Overall, I was very happy with this property and I'm sure during warmer months that it's even better with use of the dock, personal beach, and excellent water access (though price is certain to fluctuate with the seasons).

We spent a long weekend in early November with our grown children and grand babies. This home accommodated all of us perfectly. The home is well appointed with everything you’d need, especially the kitchen. We didn’t have swimming/water activity weather at this time of year but the guys brought their fishing rods and fished off the dock. Many laughs, fierce fishing competitions and several catfish caught too. In the evenings we all enjoyed s’mores sitting on the expansive sandy beach around the fire pit.
Communication was quick, check in was a breeze and check out day was easy. We would all love to return during warmer months to enjoy the Lake. This home is in a beautiful spot on the water. We would recommend this home without hesitation.

Overall great place to stay. Very clean as expected from a new construction. Sandy beach area is perfect and the water is pretty calm. Wished the dock was a little lower for my boat but we made it work out. Owners were responsive and the overall experience was great. Would stay here again!

Location was crazy to anything you need. Cross bridge bam! Cheapest gas, grocery store, bars, food etc. we were a group of 8 all adults 1 14 year old. 2 dogs. We stay at a lake every summer and this is the 2nd year in a row at Lake Norman. The convenience is just to good! 6 hrs from Columbus Ohio. This house had it all, tons of space, seperate tv area upstairs if you needed, spacious rooms, towels, tp, all the little things. The first time we really didn’t need to rush out to store asap for those type things. House was immaculate comfortable, I can go on and on. The dock was massive has its own beach but even better your own open water swimming area. We brought our own seadoo and the best part is they have their own boat launch right on property! Worth its weight in gold! Left today ran Seadoo back on trailer 2 minutes out water and gone! The main rd that crosses lake (bridge is right next to property but it well protect by privacy fence and trees. We had zero issue with noise. The dogs loved it also. Highly recommended and the first time in 8yrs we probly going back to same place!!! Chris the owner helped us with everything. Smooth and very accepting. A+++++

Came to the property for my bachelor party, what a great choice. Plenty of room for everyone and access to the lake was very close and easy. Enjoyed the grill and the back patio. Great for all types of trips especially families and boat owners. Will come back again!

Ten stars hands down!!!!
I have stayed in many VBRO rentals and this one is the best I have stayed at by far. The house was immaculate! The beds were perfect. The amenities did not disappoint. They thought of everything!! There were so many thoughtful things down to q-tips and ponytail holders in the bathrooms. The house is large and spacious inside and out. The lake view and access were amazing. Even though it rained everyday, we still had plenty to do. Fooseball, table tennis and a ton of board games. The owner and manager stayed in contact with us from the time we booked until the time we checked out to make sure everything was perfect for our stay!! I will not stay anywhere else on any of my upcoming visits!!
