Everything about this stay was amazing, starting with our hosts Tom and Kate. They were warm and welcoming, spending time with us at the outset to point out the extraordinary features of their beautiful home and garden. As a family of five (three children 18 and older) we found the octagonal breakfast room an ideal place to gather. At the end of the day, we each enjoyed individual spaces as well--whether at the piano, in the library, on the lounge chairs in the yard, or in our spacious bedrooms. The furnishings are just as pictured--authentic and comfortable. Each room is embellished by beautiful artwork. The kitchen is well-equipped and features high-end appliances. We had one technology question (about the wifi), and it was handled by the hosts like a pro! The home itself is centrally located; we walked to stores, restaurants, coffee houses, town hall (to obtain parking passes for the beach), bowling, trivia night, and even a consignment shop. Although the house is in the center of town, it and the garden area offer privacy as they are nestled behind the winding drive and landscaped yard. Opportunities to take a memorable family photograph are available both indoors and near the flower and vegetable garden. Without a doubt visitors should seriously consider this property. Tom and Kate are quite lovely; they are gracious and attentive. They offered wonderful recommendations for dining, sightseeing, and local beaches. The property is one-of-a-kind and so are the hosts!
