About this house rental
Welcome to our spacious family home located in a highly desirable area of Pacific Grove (PG). We are owner-occupants offering select short term rental availability each year. Don't see your preferred dates available? Message us! Sometimes availability is flexible.

LOCATION:
Located in the heart of the historic PG Retreat neighborhood, this vintage craftsman-style home is a half block walk to Berwick Park and the Coastal Recreational Trail on the Monterey Bay. A few steps farther will take you to the many amenities available in downtown PG, Lover’s Point, and Cannery Row.
We are a 5-minute walk to vibrant downtown PG, and a 10-minute coastal trail stroll to the Aquarium. As proud members of the aquarium, we invite you to use our transferable guest passes during your stay.
Though close to the action, the home is situated on a quiet and peaceful lane located between the main thoroughfares, adjacent to a breathtaking 100-year-old Moreton Bay Fig tree.
OUR HOME:
Built in 1914 & remodeled down to the studs in 1997, our home includes 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large kitchen & breakfast nook, formal dining room, family room, laundry room, and a home office. The master bedroom (with ensuite bathroom and laundry) and kids’ room are both upstairs, while the guest room (with ensuite bathroom) is downstairs. Upon request, there is a brand new Luonto queen-size sleeper sofa in the office that can be made into a very comfortable bed.
We have everything you will need for your stay, including two gas fireplaces and new stainless-steel Bosch kitchen appliances. Utilities include high speed Wi-Fi, two smart TVs with multiple channel subscriptions, central heating, SimpliSafe alarm & keyless entry system, weekly trash pickup, and tankless water heater.
The exterior boasts a beautiful garden, including an outdoor dining table under coastal oak trees, and a lovely new fire-pit seating area under the stars (just push a button and enjoy a warm fire). The side yard hosts a grass lawn and natural gas BBQ grill under a custom-made pergola. Our private driveway includes a Level-2 electric vehicle charger. If you are bringing an additional car, parking is easy to find along the street.

While we can't offer you a vacation from your kids, our home is ready for the perfect family getaway. There is enough space to bring the grandparents, so start planning your date nights!

Home was in a great location to Lovers Point & walking to the aquarium. Home was comfortable, had a well-appointed kitchen, loads of kids toys, piano & lots of furniture. Communication was timely & good with the owner. All-in-all a nice stay.

The house was cozy and warm. Equipped with everything you need. Especially Tons of toys for the preschooler age!! Close to Ocean and Monstersy bay!

House is literally 1 block from the Bay and the gorgeous bay shore walking/running path. Can easily walk to public beach for a dip. Spacious home and cute landscaping including large firepit. Owners are very conscientious. Highly recommend.

We stayed at this beautiful house for three night family vacation in Monterey celebrating my wife's 70th birthday year, and we had a great time. We had five adults and one 2-year old toddler. The house is very well set up and maintained, and in an ideal location. A 15 minute walk along the trail gets you to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and the beginning of Cannery Row. A 10 minute walk on the trail in the other direction takes you to Lover's Point beach. We used the fully equipped kitchen and the outdoor grill to cook two dinners and prepare lunches and toddler snacks. The house is toddler-friendly in every way with toys, a crib, changing mat, a pack-and-play, and stairway gates if you want to use them. There is a private driveway, and we had no problem parking a second car on the street right next to the house. The hosts provide two aquarium guest passes and also beach toys and towels if you want to visit the beach. We all absolutely loved the place, and the host Jennifer was very kind and helpful in her communications. We had an ideal visit and highly recommend this house and the host. We hope to return someday!

We had the most amazing stay at this lovely home perfectly located by the Monterey Aquarium and Lovers Cove. It truly felt like a home away from home. Our family of two young boys loved all the toys and our youngest son asked to go on the tree swing every morning.
The owner’s communication was so professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this home to anyone with a family headed to Pacific Grove or Monterey.

Our 4 night stay in Pacific Grove at your beautiful home was the perfect getaway for our 21st wedding anniversary. The home is ideally located 1 block from the coast and walking trail. The home is spacious with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for our family to relax. We made breakfast every morning and enjoyed our coffee. We ate out for dinner 2 of the 4 nights, picked up Gianni's Pizza and brought back to the house, and did enjoy cooking steak and lobster one of the nights. We enjoyed the short walks to Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. It was a short 30 minute drive to Carmel Valley where we enjoyed wine tasting at Parsonage Winery, which is our favorite. John and Jennifer are great managers to work with and you can see that they put their heart into this home! We will definitely looking forward to staying in your wonderful home again, thank you so much!
