Take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding woods through the large windows and explore the private 2.5 acres of naturally wooded backyard, complete with a firepit, multiple trails, and sledding hills. Now a few house rules. There is absolutely no smoking and no pets allowed at the cabin. Outdoor quiet hours are between 10 PM and 7 AM - please keep our mountain quiet and peaceful during the night! This is not a party house.
We hope you love our cabin as much as we do!

My friend and I enjoyed the cabin. The games were a huge plus even though we didn’t get the full experience (ie sound didn’t work in arcade game, balls were very low on air for basketball, piano had no sound). We loved the ping pong and foosball table and the huge variety of board games. As the second guest I found the basement bed very hard and had to move upstairs into the Trundle beds which also happen to be hard (Maybe a Tempur-pedic?). The smell of sulfur in the water cleared up after 10 minutes but the dishwasher was really fowl smelling. The bunk beds were too small for me. We did end up having to wipe table down in the living room but other than that it was clean. Very much appreciated the extra beach towels. A few minor inconveniences but would definitely book again. Also the host were gracious and allowed us to extend checkout. Thank you!

Excellent location for our scheduled activities

We have family in the area, and having a large open space to enjoy was perfect for dinners! The hosts have provided games, activities, and an adventure guide appropriate for all ages, and it was well thought out. Overall, 10 out of 10 would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in the woods. The house was spacious for our family. It had games, puzzles and other things for us to do while at the house. We felt right at home.

We we're very surprised about the amount of space this cabin truly has, there was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy your time there. You are very close to the golf course and clubhouse/pool which makes it great for quick entertainment. We didn't have enough time to enjoy the trails and fire pit area, but they looked great and a good place to relax in the mountains.

Nice cabin, we all had fun

We rented this cabin for our week-long family quilt retreat (9 quilters and 3 spouses). We originally had another cabin reserved that fell through last minute, and we were so glad it did after staying here! This was the perfect place for us, and we enjoyed it inside and out! Everyone had plenty of room to spread out, quilt, and sleep comfortably. There were plenty of games and puzzles for entertainment, and it was lovely to just sit on the deck and enjoy the view. The hosts were quick to respond, helpful, and super easy to work with. They've put a lot of thought into making their cabin a welcoming place - they even had a space heater for the lower level bedroom which would have been quite chilly otherwise despite it being June. Overall, we loved our stay and hope to rent it again for next year's retreat!

Enjoyed our stay in this comfortable cabin. Woke up to hear an elk bugling and saw elk walk through the property!

We had a wonderful time and great accommodations! The host provided excellent communication regarding our stay including weather & snow updates. The sledding hill behind the house entertained the boys for hours.

My family and I really loved staying at this cabin! Our kids are 12, 16 and 18 and they enjoyed all the fun things to do at the cabin, in Crouch and at the Terrace Lakes Resort. My husband and I especially enjoyed sitting around the pellet stove in the evenings. The view from the sunroom is spectacular. The cabin is very spacious so we all have plenty of room to spread out. The hosts were extremely responsive and very helpful even before we left for our trip.

The house was great and there was plenty to do for the kids. The hosts were prompt getting back to us with our questions. It is a very private location. We enjoyed playing games by the pellet stove and enjoyed s’mores at the outside fire pit. We will definitely return.

This was a great place for our family/extended family get-away. We had people ages 14-84 and everyone had a great time! It rained alot of our stay but we had an amazing view and lots of activities inside. We weren't able to get the arcade games to work which was a little bit of a bummer for our teens, but there was ping pong, foosball, lots of board games, puzzles and excellent wi-fi. The rain let up one day so we got to explore the trail on the property as well as have a fire in the pit which both were a nice plus. Overall we had a wonderful stay, hosts were excellent, would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin in Terrace Lakes. The cabin and large lot have a very private feel which is important to us. Our family loves games and this cabin was perfectly appointed to keep all ages entertained. We can't wait to stay again!

We would definitely recommend this place.
Our kids loved the arcade, ping pong, foosball, board games, and puzzles. There is plenty of room to spread out and the sleeping areas are nice and clean.
The clubhouse pool was fun and a great way to spend a few hours. Definitely get the fries and the pool bar has a nice selection of hard ciders.
The owners were very responsive when we had a quick question about the garbage.
There were just a couple of minor issues that kept us from giving it an overall 5 star review.

Our family, which consisted of 4 adults and 4 children ages 2 - 8 were delighted with our recent 3 night stay! This is our 6th year staying in Garden Valley and this site was by far the nicest accommodations for staying/playing/sleeping/relaxing/hanging out in beautiful Garden Valley.
So much space for kids to play, they enjoyed the games and playing hide and seek in the 3 levels of the cabin. We explored the paths and made our own adventures as the lot is generously sized with room to roam. We wondered how comfortable the stay would be since we were there during the 3 hottest days of summer 2023 so far but were very comfortable inside. To keep cool outside we found the nearby clubhouse pool a welcome relief as well as a sweet spot to play in the water and sand by the park. Next time we will bring paddle boards/kayacks/tubes to float - the water was amazing. Space throughout the cabin was thoughtfully created for a large group to be able to sit together, and/or gather in areas where you could elect to be 2-4 or all 6-8 people together for socializing or playing a game, or sharing a snack or meal.
The kitchen is updated, versatile and well supplied with extra storage space and a large gas BBQ. The bathrooms were stocked with fresh clean towels, wash clothes, and soap shampoo/conditioner. Beds and linen were clean, and very comfortable. We all were very sad to leave but agreed that a return visit to this site during the winter would be fun and a trip next summer for sure!

Great spot to relax, rest and enjoy in a quiet neighborhood.

We stayed for 3 nights and the cabin was amazing! My kids are under 5 and both enjoyed the games, books, and toys that were included. We did go down to the pool twice, and we used 1 guest pass for our whole family each time, not one per person. The basement is MUCH cooler than the rest of the house, so if you're planning to use the basement bedroom, be sure to plan accordingly. There is also a "no shoes upstairs" sign, so be sure to bring extra socks or house slippers. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cutlery, cooking utensils, pots, pans, seasonings, baking necessities, and more! A really nice touch was that there were containers for leftovers as well as plastic bags, plastic wrap, tin foil, and parchment paper all provided as well! Streaming movies in the family room was really easy, and it was a great way to wind down from a fun day each night. We used the fire pit one night and it was a great little clearing, but had lots of mosquitos, so bring your bug spray. Depending on the size of your group, you may need to bring more roasting sticks, as there were only 3, but that worked for our group. as soon as we left, my kids were asking when we could go back to the cabin, So I absolutely foresee more stays here in our future!
