Great location in centre's of Castletown next to Castle with mini supermarket, pubs and restaurants close by. House just right for holiday accommodation for a party of four, and comfortable with all amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed vacation.

We had a very comfortable staycation with our small dog at Mariner's Cottage. A lovely 'home from home' from which we explored many beautiful walking spots. It was also beautifully quiet - thr perfect place to get away from it all! I will certainly recommend it to any friends or family.

Cosy two bedroom cottage in the centre of Castletown, a lovely part of the Isle of Man. Great location for exploring, everything is within a short walking distance, and there are frequent buses to the airport, Douglas and Port Erin. Enough space downstairs with a kitchen/lounge and a lounge/dining room, but both double bedrooms are rather small with limited storage space. Floors and surfaces were clean, but a few cobwebs lurked above. Kitchen was well equipped but a few cups or glasses were chipped or cracked. Island Escapes were very helpful in allowing us to stay two extra nights due to the ferries being cancelled during Storm Kathleen. After our return to the mainland they (not I) noticed they had overcharged us for the extension and refunded us immediately. They had also responded quickly and successfully to a problem with the TV. Overall, a nice stay - we will use Island Escapes again

Staying at Mariana’s cottage was a really lovely experience. We stayed over the Christmas period and not only was there a Christmas tree up, everything was provided for. It is a cosy, comfortable and homely cottage and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking it. Perfect location in the town centre as well.

Mariners Cottage is a lovely old cottage , which lhas been tastefully extended and modernised. It is excellently placed, in the centre of Castletown , near the central square , castle and harbour. You can see the from the bedrooms .
There is some outdoor seating and table too. The skylight and stable door at the back are nice features.
I did have a few quibbles , which the owners and Island Escapes responded to very quickly.
On the downside , I do think it very expensive. I also think providing no washing powder and only 3 dishwasher tabs , especially considering the cost of rental , was not generous. They did provide more dishwasher tabs , as I complained. I left some in the box to be of help to other customers!
