The home and location were wonderful! I did have a minor concern arise and reached out to the contact given (and was told that the number was a wrong number) and, the property owner during our stay and never heard back from either. I am grateful that we didn’t have a major issue. Overall, it was a great place, we were comfortable and felt safe.

Perfect little house for a quick stay in Bastrop. Judy, the host is as wonderful as the 3 bedrooms house. My teen made herself at home and was able to enjoy movies and snacks, and my Mother was comfortable out back drinking coffee and walking about while I worked.
Only blocks off Main, dinner and drinks are a walkable distance, but also easily drivable. The train does come through early mornings blowing its horn, with the tracks located 1 - 2 blocks away, and during the school week, the buses park across the street dropping the elementary kids off. I sleep lightly so those sounds were present early in the morning, but it didn't take away from the pleasantries.

What a great place to stay! Just a five minute drive to downtown Bastrop, or could walk to downtown in 10 minutes. The only reason we didn't walk was it was too hot during our stay.
The house is very quiet and nicely furnished, everything is new and working perfectly.

We stayed almost two weeks and really felt at home. Judy really has thought about every detail. Very clean and close to old town Bastrop. The train horn can be hard to get used to but no fault of the area.

We three ladies of a certain age really enjoyed our stay and found the house extremely clean and comfortable. The hostess was quite responsive to our needs and was kind enough to leave a goodie basket on the counter. Main Street was just a few blocks away and the Lost Pines Art Center (our focus) was within walking distance. A great place that we would certainly stay at again. For light sleepers I must mention that the house is directly across the street from an Elementary school, the train tracks are less than a block away, and the next door neighbor has hound dogs that love to vocalize.
