This spectacular beachfront home offers two living spaces on the best part of Kailua Beach - known throughout the State as one of the most pristine white sand beaches - the perfect beach home for accommodating groups large and small. Both the main house (5 bedrooms) and the cottage (1 bedroom) have been extensively renovated by professional designers bringing new comforts to even the most discriminating travelers. Open living rooms invite natural light into the house, illuminating the rich wood furnishings and sleek granite countertops. The large, open kitchen and dining area are a chef's delight - with large bar counters and a variety of dining areas - indoors and out. We rented the Hale Oahu Estate Kailua Beach Front House for our family vacation for a week. Not only was the location very amazing (beach front) the rooms were spacious with many amenities available for our use. Being located on the northern east side of the island away from downtown and Waikiki, it is still a quick drive to the city. There is a Whole Foods, Target, Tokyo Centeral (old Don Quijote), Safeway and more 5 min from the house so there is nothing really to worry about. The people in contact for the rental house were very helpful, being a phone or text away at anytime to help with any problems.Thank you very much for the wonderful place.

Our family has taken 3 trips to Hawaii over the last 7 years and this was by far the best!The house is ideally located on the most beautiful beach. There are nice grocery stores, shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The house itself is pristine and must have been remodeled fairly recently. It has a beautiful well stocked kitchen with top of the line appliances.The large lawn was well used for baseball. football and soccer games.The management is there if you need them and so easy to work with.We loved our week at Hale Oahu!

We had a wonderful family vacation at Hale Oahu. The house has EVERYTHING you could possibly need, from the totally outfitted kitchen to beach chairs, towels etc. Everything is in good working order. The location is ideal, an easy walk to Buzz's, Kalapawai Market and Island Snow for shave ice. The property managers were terrific and made everything easy.

This house was all that we could ask for. It has great bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens (both houses). It fronts on a beautiful lawn that leads right to the beach. We loved it.

Great big yard unbelievable for kids to play and with the berm for beach barrier to kids but easy access with adults and all to the amazing beach!Loved our stay and accommodations were great for our extended family.

The kitchen was well stocked with basic spices, dishes and cooking needs. We were greeted with a beautiful basket of goodies. The garage was filled with an amazing amount of items for the beach. Maybe the only downside was the public access to the beach, next to the property would get a little noisy, and not enough hot water for 11 people to shower, even if we tried to spread out the showers. Overall, we loved the place and I highly recommend this beautiful home for a large group.

The house, views, and beach front were all equally outstanding. The house had every last detail and slept all 11 of us well. The beach was super clean and usually deserted. The location was excellent as you could walk to the market, coffee shops, and Buzz's Steakhouse which we did frequently. Other than a few excursions to Pearl Harbor and Waikiki we could not bear leaving the compound. We will be back. Kudos as well to Alia from the MGT company as she was always very responsive to any question we had. Thanks!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Hale Oahu. First of all, the house is amazing. Everything feels brand new from the furniture to the beach towels. My children loved the big back yard to run around in and the jacuzzi tub after a day at the beach was such a treat. Having two washers and dryers was also an amazing perk. We had come from a hotel with lots of laundry to do and had finished 4 loads in no time at all, so convenient! The most amazing thing about this home, is or course, the unbeatable location! This home has a sand path leading directly to Kailua beach (the most amazing beach) and it’s on a slight hill so it’s privately tucked away from beach goers. You can walk to some of the towns shops which was also nice! Lastly, the communication between my family and the property management team was seamless. If we had any questions or needed anything, they were on top of it. I felt like we were being taken care of. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back very soon!

We booked this trip for a family vacation. The location was lovely. The response time from the host was quick. The property was beautiful and spacious. I loved the double washer/dryer.

Check in proved a little difficult as the code for the auto gate was correct but the door was not. So had to wait a few minutes to check-in. My mom took a shower when we got there, but everyone else waited till the evening as we went into the water. None of us had any hot water other than my mom, and continued not to have hot water for about 24 hours, when Chris came and confirmed that the water heater was in disable mode.
A heavy wooden oar on the wall also fell, luckily no one was around when it happened, especially the toddler that was with us.
Even with those issues, it was a very lovely home and a great location. Would not hesitate to say again if given the opportunity, but hopefully things go a little smoother if there is a next time.

Excellent location. Beautiful and clean home that is fully stocked. Quiet neighborhood. Incredible beach. Kailua is small and quaint with a Target and WholeFoods within a 5 minute drive. However, check-in was a mess...the codes needed to open the gates and doors did not work. We called AvantStay and they answered immediately but they had the same codes we did. The only way we got into the house that afternoon was by using the public beach access to enter the yard from the beach. Luckily, the cleaning staff accidentally left a sliding door unlocked and we entered the house through there. AvantStay had someone out the next morning to get the door codes straightened out and come to find out from the gardener that the gate that allows vehicle entry has never worked and we had to operate it manually for the remainder of the stay - a minor inconvenience. Overall, I would love to stay here again and would highly recommend the home for couples or families. We had a fabulous stay with plenty of room and privacy for 4 couples. We made some incredible memories and strengthened the bonds of our friendship!

Being in this beach house made you feel like you were on vacation in an island paradise - not the concrete jungle of Waikiki. Kailua is a quaint town with good restaurants. We appreciated the beach equipment provided. However, property needs a deep clean, some furniture is worn out and gate and some appliances did not function well.
