About this apartment rental

At A Place at the Beach you’ll be close to all the action in Atlantic Beach, including the fantastic beaches, restaurants, shops, and other beachside attractions. This secured and private resort, offers tennis courts, outdoor charcoal grills, a gym, putt-putt course, basketball court, indoor & outdoor pool, hot tub, and even a 150-ft waterslide!

The condo is located on the third floor and is accessible by an elevator just down the hallway form the unit. Inside you will find all the comforts of home. There is plenty of seating in the living room for the whole family, complete with a sleeper sofa for extra guests. There are two doored bedrooms, the master features a heavenly queen bed with an en suite four-piece bathroom and smart TV. The second bedroom is located off the living room and features two bunks with a three-piece bath with shower stall down the hall. All beds come made with luxury linens and bathrooms have a starter set of towels for you and your guests. The galley kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and all the extras you could hope for such as a toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, ETC. A beach cart and a few beach chairs/ towels that can help you start your beach fun off right. There is a direct ADA beach access out in front of the units,. No smoking. No pets!!!!

On the property, a 150-foot waterslide spills into their Oceanfront outdoor pool and promises an exhilarating ride. Swim year round in their indoor swimming pool and take advantage of the relaxing whirlpool at the end of a long day in the sun, and for those that enjoy outdoor whirlpools they have one available for you to enjoy as well. Additionally, the property boosts tennis and basketball courts, a game room, a large interior courtyard with kids playground, gas and charcoal grills beside indoor pool, Shuffleboard AND a 9-hole putt putt golf course. Winter maintenance can close pools or boardwalks without warning, so ask prior to booking as no refunds will be offered for property amenities not being available.

The property had everything we needed for our weekend away for a wedding, only problem was I had my elderly mother that needed the elevator but was too far of a walk up the ramp and to the room, had to go buy a wheelchair, but this had nothing to do with the great facilities!! Just for anyone bringing someone not being able to walk far distances.

I have never had a host go so far out of the way to make sure all of our needs were addressed. From trying to get us into the unit early to all the amenities thought of to the ease of communication they really do an awesome job here. This is an older complex but this unit has been updated nicely with all the smallest details thought of. I would definitely rent this unit again.

My family of six very much enjoyed our fourth stay at A Place at the Beach III. This condo was beautifully decorated and very clean, plus loaded with extras like a PlayStation, board games, bath & beach towels, beach chairs & boogie boards, and everything you need to cook except an oven. It was much smaller than other units we’ve stayed in, and didn’t have a washer/dryer, but the host truly goes out of her way to make sure you have what you need. Our family was probably a bit too big to stay here - especially with no space to put food for a week, but we figured it out and had a great time. The gift basket was an incredibly nice touch, as were the makeup removing wipes & travel lotions. We left our sand toys to add to the collection of fun for kids in the future. Thank you for sharing your condo so my family could make so many good memories at our favorite beach getaway!

This was by far the most relaxing trip because of this rental, the host truly goes out of their way to make sure everything is taken care of. We had everything we needed, beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, a sand cart, shampoo, charging units thru out the space, comfy beds and pillows, games for for all ages, it was just amazing. I would highly recommend staying here, we are considering booking for next year.

My husband and I had a great time. We brought our 4 year old grand daughter with us. The place had everything you needed and more. They had a nice welcome basket which we really enjoyed and did not expect. The place was clean and had toys for our grand daughter to play with. Very easy access to the pool and the beach. We spent a lot of time at both. The shells were the best part, there were so many on the beach! We would definately stay here again!

This condo was perfect for our family of six; we even extended our stay. We felt like we were visiting a friend since the place is so cozy and had all the comforts we needed. Most importantly it is an extremely clean and tidy space. My boys loved the indoor and outdoor pools, mini golf, and tether ball. The host provided all comfortable linens and more than enough bathroom and beach towels. The views of the stars on the boardwalk down to the beach were the best we have ever seen. Everyone we came across in the community was so friendly and kind. Easy access to the elevators and stairs. This condo is a great value for the decor, property amenities, and location. The host is very easy to communicate with and quite attentive if you need anything.

We had the best time at “High-Tide Haven”. The condo was stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need, from a pack-n-play, beach umbrella, to a curling iron. Plenty to do and see at the resort and minutes away from restaurants. Cathy was the BEST host! I highly recommend booking your next trip here.

We had a GREAT stay at this condo during the holiday weekend. The condo itself is clean, well appointed and had tons of extras. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We loved all the board games for the kids and the coffee maker was perfect for making morning coffee and sitting on the deck (an essential part of any beach weekend!). The pool, slide, beach. miniputt and pickleball courts all make "A Place at the Beach" one of our favorite places to stay in Atlantic Beach. We will definitely be back to this condo, highly recommend!

This was an excellent place to stay and Kathy is a wonderful host. She has thought of every little detail. Everything was very clean and well organized. She had so many items stocked from games for the family, clothes steamers, beach kart and chairs just few things that made our stay a little easier. When we arrived our family was greeted by Steve and Cathy. They were amazing!! There were so many little extra they had thought to include to make our stay a perfect. We were so pleased we wanted to extend our stay, but, as expected they were already booked. It is not hard to see why. This is certainly a place we will return to!
