About this apartment rental
The kind of home you could almost get too comfortable in, you may find you don't want to leave this place in the hills above Sorrento. With mesmerising views across the Bay of Naples, the mountains and the awe-inspiring Mount Vesuvius itself, it's easy to find yourself spending most of your time just gazing out across this stunning part of the Amalfi Coast.
Part of a large villa, where you'll have heaps of private space and all the room you could need for a group of up to eight, it's a great option if you're looking to stay away from the crowds but close enough to be in the heart of Sorrento in around fifteen minutes by car or bus.
There's a coastal feel to the interiors, with the whites and blues reflecting the views from almost every window, and the living space is split into a covered verandah, a comfy lounge and a modern kitchen with a dining area. But we're willing to bet you'll be eating outside as much as possible, and the terrace outside the kitchen is the perfect place to eat and drink with a simply stunning backdrop.
And that's far from the only place to sit outdoors here, with a balcony running the length of the bedrooms and a roof terrace with an outdoor lounge area to die for. And just a few more steps up, set into the hillside, you'll find your private pool, outdoor kitchen with barbecue area and sun loungers. You really will be living the high life.
Elsewhere in the home, a gym means you can keep up your fitness routine and three characterful bedrooms all face the sea, with the figure of Vesuvius looming just across the bay. By day, drive along the coastal route, taking in the famous resorts of Sorrento, Sant'Agnello, Positano and more, and spend your evenings on the roof terrace – watching the sun set over the sea.
