About this house rental

The serenity of Lincoln City awaits at this family-friendly retreat sitting just a short walk from the waves and sand. From the cozy warmth of the brick-enclose wood stove to the vaulted ceilings, this getaway has just the right amount of coastal charm for every guest to enjoy. Breathe in the salty air from the front porch with a fresh cup of coffee as you plan full days of fun.

When everyone has had their fill of adventure, the full kitchen is ready for any recipe, as it is equipped with all of the appliances of home. When the stars come out, kick back on the plush sectional sofa and watch a movie on the flatscreen TV. Plus, when it is time to hit the hay, two main-level queen bedrooms and two spacious upstairs bedrooms, both with TVs and lots of natural light, give your guests lots of choices for a good night's rest.

Sitting on a limited-access residential street, you will have no problem with street noise even though you are a short walk from a plethora of restaurants and attractions in town. Take a quick stroll over to the Grace Hammond Beach Access or try your luck at the Chinook Winds Casino Resort. The beautiful Connie Hansen Garden is blocks away, and you can always enjoy a peaceful walk to three nearby coffee shops for a morning pick-me-up.

We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

The vacation rental is on the second and third floors and includes access to the garage but does not include the private basement apartment.

This home shares a laundry room in the garage.

There is a secure private basement apartment with a separate private entrance on the ground floor that is occasionally used by the owner. Although the basement apartment can be connected to the main floor of the house via the basement stairs, the basement apartment remains locked to ensure privacy and security for all occupants. To enhance guest comfort, there is also a door to the basement located on the 2nd floor that can be locked by guests to further separate the private basement apartment from the rental portion of the house (I.e., the 2nd and 3rd floor rental). The garage is adjacent to the private basement apartment and contains a shared laundry area; thus, the garage is community space. While the garage is accessible to guests via stairs from the 2nd floor, again, the 2nd and 3rd floors can be easily locked enabling secure separation of the rental unit from both the shared garage and private basement.

The house was clean and well equipped very clear instructions little details made the stay feel more like home our grand daughter experienced stairs for the first time she loved them but grandpa not so much lol We will book this place again thank you

Overall enjoyed our stay. Lots of great amenities, most importantly the hot tub worked! We did have some issues with one of the toilet flushers not working which was tended to right away and wasn’t an issue the rest of our stay. I would say the pictures are a bit deceiving and the home is much smaller than expected. The downstairs portion of the home (the private apartment) being rented out made us a bit uneasy but we knew it was there when we booked - just didn’t expect it to actually be connected to the house. Otherwise, there was lots to do, beds were decent, plenty of room for our large group. Convenient walk to beach. The backyard outdoor space was awesome and enough space to park 7 cars. Hosts were very responsive when we needed anything.

The pics on the website are definitely a bit deceiving. The house needs some TLC in the bathrooms and furniture. We unfortunately found dirty dishes mixed in with the clean dishes and silverware and underneath the beds have not been cleaned in a while. The property is very nicely located and would definitely be a better rating with a few changes.We would suggest putting up a privacy fence for the Hot tub, as you are in clear view of the road and surrounding neighbors if you are back there.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was what we were looking for. Beautiful view. Does need updating. The table up front on deck has a note that said cushions for chairs in LR closet, they were not. The propane fire pit is very old, rusted and cracked. Seems to pose a safety hazard? The shoe rack out front was old and broken. The bench on the patio needs replacing. It has stains and mold on it. My husband sat down in it and realized that under the cushion it had slats missing. The BBQ is beyond outdated, rusty, and I mean so rusty and old we decided not to use it. The food left in the house had some expiration dates all the way back to 2019. Many spices on the rack were also expired, some from 2020. We took it upon ourselves to go through and throw some of them out. The beds were very uncomfortable. The front door was extremely rusty. I hate to leave a review like this but it would take minimal effort to fix the above. If it were my home I’d take a little more pride in it.

Great location, close walk to beach. Lots of room, lots of toys, games for kids. ( Keep in mind, there is a private apartment in the basement with sharable laundry which is in the garage) we had no problem with it. Has a pool table in the garage ( very good) We had a great stay

We had a great time here with extended family and found the house to have everything we needed and walkable to almost all the places we wanted to visit in town. Easy walk to the beach, Chinook Winds, and even the arcade for the kids. The only reason we gave a little star reduction was due to a sour milk type odor in the "kids" bedroom (the one with multiple beds.) Management was prompt with replies to any and all questions or concerns and overall had a very nice stay. Would definitely book again!

Beautiful weather for a fun birthday celebration beach trip. Well stock with supplies, towels, games for the kids. We really enjoyed the hot tub annd pool table with our grandkids.
