About this house rental
Bring your family, extended family, or several couples (up to 20 people) for a fun-filled getaway in the heart of the Adirondacks. This "Micro Resort" is spacious enough for a large group of people and quaint enough for limited numbers. In the summer, spend time paddling on the Sacandaga River or hiking in the area, then relax sipping on a drink in the outdoor Margaritaville Bar by the firepit!! In the winter there’s cross country skiing or snowmobiling from the trails connected to our property.
The space
This entire property is “yours” for the extent of your stay; no other guests will be present on the site.
This property is like nothing you have ever experienced before. It has a full restaurant kitchen, full bar, 3 fireplaces, 3 baths, washer and dryer, dishwasher, pool table, several wall games, huge chandelier, and large Adirondack wood slab dining table.
And the best part is “The Bear’s Den,” a forty-foot-long room with 5 full sized beds surrounded by a woodsy setting and a night sky hand painted on the ceiling. You’ll feel like you’re asleep in the great outdoors.
The property is located at 118 State Highway 10 Caroga Lake (Arietta), NY and will sleep 20 people+ (depending on your sleeping arrangements). If you’re looking for a classy, cozy, and unique accommodation that will meet all of your needs, this is one you will talk about for years to come.
Summer will feature a full sand volleyball court, a water feature with 3 cascading waterfalls and a fire pit in the middle. It also has a BBQ area with a gas BBQ grill, a electric meat smoker, a gas flat top grill, a wood fired outdoor pizza oven, and a gazebo with a Margaritaville bar. There’s a short
Nature trail off the property to the west branch of the Sacandaga River, where you can set by the water on a secluded white sand beach in a chaise lounge reading your favorite book in the sun.
In the beginning or end of your day you will WANT to experience the "Bears Den's" outdoor shower, where you will find yourself surrounded by hanging plants and greenery as you wash your troubles away under the 12" rain showerhead!!
In the winter, you can snowshoe, cross country ski, and snowmobile right from the snowmobile trails that connect to the property. And there is downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, and downhill tubing within a 20-minute car ride. And then you get to come back to a cozy cabin, kick off your boots and sit by the fireplace in the "Great Room"
