“Ryan’s Retreat” is named after a friend of ours who unexpectedly passed away in July 2022. He couldn’t get enough of Lake Okoboji; loved being on the lake spending time with friends and family. If you have spent any time here in the past, he has probably bought you a drink at some point. He had the biggest heart and we wanted his memory & love for Okoboji to live on.

Property was amazing. Only had 4 ladies stay total and everyone had their own space and was comfortable. Great stay and great location! Walking distance from everything we wanted to do!

The house is very nice. The weather ruined our trip but we enjoyed the time we were there.

This place is gorgeous. Very easy to get to and in a great location so we were able to walk to most of the things we wanted to do.
The only issue we had was with the water. We had lukewarm water to start then it was just cold water for the rest of the weekend. The host was easy to contact and was quick in getting the problem addressed. We still only had cold water by the day we left but the host did great at checking in on us to assess the situation.

Townhouse was a perfect place to stay. Across the street from the amusement park and amphitheater. As well as restaurants and bars. Would recommend highly

Clean quiet location. The unit had everything we needed for 4 retired adults. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely rent this unit again.
It was great to be able to walk to restaurants in the Arnold’s Park area. We appreciated the timely response from Kristen. Thank you for a great rental!

The location of this condo was perfect. Literally right cross the street from Arnold’s Park, and a balcony out back overlooking the golf course. The condo was very clean and we enjoyed it very much

My husband and adult children stayed here for a long weekend get-away and the accommodations did not disappoint.
Kristin, the owner was very responsive to any questions and got back to me right away. This was so appreciated!
The townhouse is brand new, bright and clean! The inside is modern and so nice. A bonus to this townhome is having a garage to pull our vehicle into. All amenities in the townhome are excellent. Nice cookware in the kitchen!
We went to a summer concert which was directly across the street at Arnolds Park. There is a lovely view of the golf course, which we had the pleasure of using one day.
We highly recommend this VRBO to stay at and we plan to do so again!

Absolutely beautiful home. This is probably the first of maybe a dozen or so of similar units being built. Only had one issue of no hot water in one of the showers but with new construction there are bugs to be worked out. Being so new the exterior is not painted and there is no address number on the units but we went ahead of time and marked it on our mobile map app and sent it to our kids. The only suggestion we would make would be to have a newer electronic lock on the front door as with so many different kids coming and going to get ready for the wedding one key made it difficult to let people come and go. We switched to an digital lock so our kids could always get into our house with a four digit code instead of having to remember where their keys were.

We stayed in this townhouse for over a week in the 4th of July time frame. Because it is directly across the street from Arnold's Park, there was always a ton to do within walking distance. But because the unit sets far back from the road along the golf course, it is a peaceful getaway. Just open the sliding doors and listen to the fountain across the way while you watch the golfers pass by.
The unit was spacious and open with a modern farmhouse vibe. Because it's a townhouse style there are a lot of stairs, but since all the living area is on the second floor it actually gives the bedrooms extra privacy. And we loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. It's nice to be able to give people that space.
The kitchen was adequately stocked with brand new equipment, but not stuffed full of random things like sometimes happens.
Several people were working from the unit, and there was no issue with internet speed.
It was a great week and we were grateful to have this lovely unit to stay in.
