The only thing i didn't like was the lack of pillows. The pillows were soft and flat, one wasn't enough, 2 together was too high. Need a mix of pillows.

Would of enjoyed the stay alot better if not woken at 7 with construction work being done outside

I stayed after a function in the hotel. Had a renovated ensuite room - clean and comfy. Could do with one chair in the room for added comfort so you don’t always have to sit on the bed - but a very convenient and comfy place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff👍

Romano Hotel has done a fabulous job at renovating the rooms. Bed was very comfortable, small fridge/freezer in room, bathroom was lovely, all linen provided.
Take an extension cord if you like to charge phones beside your bed.
There is a lift to all floors of the hotel.
***Only thing to consider is the music being played in the Pub section till 11.30pm. Lots of lovely cafes walking distance from the hotel. Food in the pub was very nice, excellent service, very friendly staff.

The staff member at check in was friendly. Contact with the hotel prior to arrival was fast and easy.
The hotel was clean, and the lift was convenient.
The family room was very large and clean. The water bottles, tea and coffee were welcome, as were the supplies in the bathroom. The only reasons I didnt gove it a 5 were that the walls were quite thin, and you could hear noise from the street and hotel. Something small was the TV wouldnt pick up free to air channels. We would stay here again if we were on Wagga Wagga.

Suitable for our needs and staff are very pleasant. We would stay there again but next time with an ensuite bathroom.

Just stayed one night to attend a course. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly

Look - lovely place but thought the basic room was rather expensive for a single bed and shared bathroom. I had a little fridge with a small milk in it - but there was no coffee making facilities (kettle, coffee, cup??). Room didnt even have a rubbish bin. No parking was available due to the carpark being upgraded apparently, which always makes me nervous to have to park on the street overnight.

Staff friendly, hotel had old time charm with significant signs of recent renovation. Would definitely return to Romano’s when next in Wagga Wagga.

This place is an absolute disgrace, smelled so bad, I literally vomited when entered the room. Will never back here

We had a cheap room with shared facilities and were a little apprehensive. The room was good and clean and toilets were across the hall. Too easy. Dinibg option at the hotel but very close to Woolies too. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great option for a stopover night.

I had a nice clean hotel room with bathroom, TV and small fridge. The hotel has a great bar area and good food and is in an excellent location.

Overall was a good experience would be good if there was an area to relax outside as a guest that didn’t involve being in the pub itself. Staff great good showers

Then building requires a lot of external maintenance, window sills deterating and cobwebs on external windows.
However, the food and wine selections are excellant

Good value and helpful staff. Nicely refurbished modern rooms but no in-room tea/coffee-making facilities, chair, table or hooks/rail for clothes hanging. Beautiful thick towels and bath sheets. Nice location close to the river and galleries. Live music the Saturday I stayed was noisy in my room but finished fairly early.

Great stay. Loud music at night during week days though and parking has lots of potholes

Good for a basic country style pub/hotel. Good location and walkable to Baylis st shopping and around 30 mins walk to the train station. Woolworths is only three minutes away across the street. Food is honest and big serves.
Stayed in a deluxe single room with ensuite.
Clean and good for a base of operations.
Couple of things to be aware of though.
No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No robe space by means of a cupboard to hang clothes. No iron or board in room. No chairs in room to sit in.
I was aware of the above and fine with it.
Great is you want simple with a bed, heater/ air con and toilet shower.

Staff service and meal was good. Adjacent block a muddy eyesore. Could only locate single toilet on entire second floor. Room was fine. A cupboard to hang clothes in would improve it

For a budget hotel it was clean with friendly staff, the bed was comfortable just needed hooks in the room to hang the towels etc
2.0 / 10.0
Hugely overpriced for a jail cell sized room. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. No room to swing a dead cat really. Had 2 park next door in a dirt parking area full of deep depressions and divots and tyre tracks tha quickly filled with water on the wet night i stayed. Walking to my car in the 5am pitch blackness was an ordeal. Boots n socks soaked. Ankle almost twisted. Wheels on suitcase clogged with mud. Totally unacceptable. Rip off.
