Just a short stroll from the water’s edge with fabulous views over the estuary and private parking, The Cottage is an absolute gem. Sunny and spacious, it is a glorious home from home in the seaside town of Salcombe.. 16 steps to entrance.

Please note: Bedroom 3 is accessed via both bedroom 2 and a separate staircase. . The Cottage is set at the end of quiet cul-de-sac, beside a pretty orchard, just a short walk uphill from the vibrant waterside Island Street, and close to the boat park and Batson Creek. It sits in a quiet spot, in an elevated position with sweeping views of Salcombe and the estuary, but very close to the centre of town. With a private parking space, this light, sunny and spacious house is a great base to explore the delights of the area. Please note, this parking space is for one car and will not be large enough for a van. The property is accessed via 16 steps through the garden and patio to the front door
Upon entering the property, you will find a bright, spacious and sunny double height entrance hall. Head into the kitchen/dining/family room, a sun filled, open plan space for entertaining, or relaxing in the open plan snug area; a comfortable, south facing family area with TV. A ground floor shower room, refitted in 2023, is perfect for washing off your sandy toes after a day paddling in the blue waters of North or South Sands Beach. Retreat upstairs to the first floor living room and enjoy the wonderful views of the estuary from your armchair, share stories of your day or join together for a film or games. Perhaps finish your day with a glass of something special on the small patio off the living room, looking out over the twinkling lights of Island St and the harbour. Also on the first floor are two bedrooms with kingsize beds, both with lovely views, a large family bathroom, and a sweet little twin room also with lovely views. The twin room is accessed by the second staircase leading up from the family room and ground floor shower room, and also accessed through the walk through middle bedroom; a perfect set up for families.
Begin by enjoying a coffee on the elevated patio whilst watching the boat masts bob on the estuary and plan your many adventures. Salcombe, famed for its waterside location has so much to offer. Take afternoon tea on the waterside balcony of The Salcombe Harbour Hotel, hire a canoe or paddleboard and discover hidden coves or take in the scenery from upon the water on a boat trip. If truly immersing yourself in all that Salcombe has to offer sounds just the ticket, The Cottage is your perfect base.
