It was quiet and very comfortable. Lots of things available. The only problem would be the stairs into the house for we older people.

Great family home for a stay in Cedar and visiting the sleeping bear dunes national seashore and Glen Arbor. Convenient to beach also. Our host had everything at the house, kids loved the downstairs games and big screen tv.

We had 6 in our party. My husband and our 4 adult kids. We had such a nice time at the property! We stayed in Friday night and cooked dinner. The kitchen accommodated us perfectly. There was everything we needed to prepare our meal! We spent the day Saturday in Suttons Bay and Glen Arbor, and had such a fun time! We made a delicious breakfast Sunday before we cleaned up and headed out. The home was comfortable, welcoming, and very clean! The beds were so comfy :-) the kids had so much fun downstairs playing old-school Mario brothers and watching their favorite shows on the big screen projector. Highly recommend this property! There’s even a little cozy fireplace. We noticed it would be so nice to stay there during the winter time :-)

Matt was an excellent host. We were there to celebrate a wedding so he even left a bottle of wine for us. The property is well kept and the backyard a peaceful place to relax.

Property was perfect for our family, and the owner (Matthew) was super helpful, and left the place well-stocked for us! Plus-one for the old school NES and Super Nintendo that my son and I geeked out on for a while. Would definitely return!

The accommodations were perfect for my family. We had six adults in our group and having bedrooms on three separate levels, each with their own bathroom, provided the perfect balance of family time and privacy. We also had a couple of dogs in our group and we very much appreciated the provided gates and supplies for them. The property was extremely clean and exactly as pictured. The communication was great. I wouldn’t have changed a thing about our stay.

The accommodations were excellent! Nestled in the woods for a very quiet experience. We had our three young grandkids along with us and more than once we heard "this is the best day ever". The location is perfect, close to everything we had come up there to do. Will definitely be returning again. Matthew is a great host!

We had a great stay at this property and were able to add family members over for dinner and easily host using the outdoor space. Home was well stocked with supplies and had nice bedding!

We enjoyed our time in your Chalet home very much! It was wonderful to be able to travel with our dogs. They enjoyed the outside space very much! The firepit made for some lovely evening conversations, as well as smores! The inside space was very functional. It was great having a bedroom/bathroom on all three levels. This allowed for privacy when sleeping, as well as enough bathroom space for all of us to get ready for a wedding we were attending. The coffee bar was well stocked, and we enjoyed it each morning. The proximity to the dunes, restaurants and other Michigan beauty made it a perfect location! We would definitely come again!

If you're considering staying somewhere else, don't! This is THE place to be! The home is conveniently located close to many key areas, a short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City (why pay more) and the beach!
Inside is spacious (you could sleep so many here!), neat and nicely decorated with all the amenities you could possibly need. If you're a nature person, the backyard is beautiful and so calming.
The owner Matt is so kind and thoughtful! What place have you stayed at that (not a hotel) had mini toiletry items in the bathrooms? Extra blankets. Free popcorn. Wifi. Entertainment area. Grill and fire pit.
Matt really goes above and beyond, and it shows. And it's pet friendly!! I really could go on but instead just do yourself a favor and book. You won't be disappointed. (Not paid, I just really, really enjoyed it here! )

What a great stay! My partner and I had a lovely time making this our second home for a few days (if our home was much, much nicer). We loved the comfy beds and the little thoughtful touches like the coffee bar with flavored creamers, herb garden with herbs we could use, and the downstairs play area with Nintendo, games, and a big projector with Netflix all set up to go. Matthew was super responsive to questions.
The kitchen was awesome too. We're both foodies and we cooked a gigantic complicated meal, and there was everything we needed. The grill is really nice and big and the stove has a gas griddle for breakfasts.
The location is also perfect to get to pretty much anywhere in Leelanau. We did a bike ride up to Fishtown and spent the next day hiking Good Harbor.
The place was clean and you could tell it was really well cared for. It was nice to have shampoo, conditioner, and things like Q-tips so we didn't have to pack too much.
Would definitely recommend!

We had a really great weekend on the Leelanau Peninsula! We all slept great in the comfy beds, and my partner enjoyed cooking in the really well stocked kitchen. There were all the utensils and pots and pans we needed, sharp knives, oil and vinegar and even fresh herbs from the garden. There were plenty of fresh clean linens.
There was one day we didn't leave the property at all because there was enough beauty all around us. There were rare wildflowers (trillium and jack in the pulpit) and a firepit, and the sun was shining on the deck, so we just enjoyed a relaxing day amongst the trees.
We also hiked to the top of Sugarloaf mountain and enjoyed the spectacular views from there, and made the very short drive to Good Harbor Beach for a stunning sunset.
Matt was very quick to respond to any questions we had, and he obviously puts a lot of care and attention into the place. There are books and magazines about the local area, and lots of little things that make life easier there (like labels on the light switches and towels in every room). There are also board games and puzzles and even an old nintendo system!
We will definitely be back! I think next time we'll stay a little longer.

Everything as on VRBO site, it was perfect. Just wanted to get away for 5 days after the holiday. Could not have asked for a better place. I had problem with tv.( cause I'm not a tech) person. Matt came out put on a video exactly how to do it and never had another issue. He was always available to help or answer any questions. It was all just great, would rent again. and everything was close as of winiers and resturants.

Matthew decorated the house for Christmas, we were visiting family who live nearby, and it was lovely to feel so cosy in his rental house. He also left some treats which was such a nice touch. The location and house are wonderful (and the beds are comfy). We had two dogs who enjoyed the surrounding area for runs, too! Overall a wonderful stay!

This house is very convenient to our our home, which was helpful that we had family staying there. It was complete with everything and anything we could’ve possibly wanted. The place as well kept and the host was very attentive to being available and answering any questions or concerns we might have. We will likely use this property again in the future.

Loved this place! A few things- it’s a perfect location- 5 minutes from Good Harbor beach (great sunsets), 20 minutes form Suttons Bay, 15 minutes to Leland, 20 mins to Glen Harbor and all the great hikes. And if you golf- you are basically on the Sugar Loaf course which is super fun! The house itself has many thoughtful amenities and was perfect for our family of 4 with extra room to spare. We loved the fire pit, comfy beds, and projector screen and the coffee bar was a great touch. Close to Market 22 which has awesome pizza and a great vibe. The communication with the owner was incredibly attentive and we had no issues. Would absolutely stay here again and looking forward to coming back.

The location was perfect. A short drive to everything we wanted to do. The house itself was very clean and nicely decorated. It was great to have three different levels for separation. Each couple could have their own space, yet everyone could gather in the great room. Furniture was very comfortable, too.

The location was great as we were just a quick drive to the beach, you could walk to a golf course and we were centrally located to drive to some of our favorite towns. The house had bathrooms for each bedroom and even some baby toys and books that our toddler enjoyed. Great communication from our host too!

Fantastic host and location. Property is represented well in the photos and is very spacious. Our group only had 4 but it seemed like it would still be comfortable at the max occupancy of 8.
It's a good central location to hit destinations in Glen arbor, Leland / leelanau or Traverse city.
Could have used another day and would certainly consider re-booking in the future.
The subdivision it is located in has a nice loop for a morning run.

This property is well decorated. Furnature and beds are comfortable & clean. Kitchen is well stocked. Back yard & deck are beautiful & prefect for relaxing or chilling around the fire. Location is great for golf, hiking, exploring Lake MI coastal cities and all that Traverse City offers.
Would definitely consider returning next summer.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home tucked in the woods! The home was nicely updated and very spacious with great amenities including many separate bathroom and sleeping options. The backyard had a cozy relaxing atmosphere. The basement had an awesome projector and tons of board games for family fun! We slept great! The beds were so comfy and the neighborhood is very quite and peaceful! The home was in such a convenient location, tucked near Lake Michigan and Little Traverse Lake nestled right in the middle of Glen Arbor, Leland, Lake Leelanau and Sutton’s Bay! It was such a nice short drive to all the places we wanted to go, including Sleeping Bear Dunes, Pyramid Point, Vans Beach and Empire Bluffs! We will definitely stay here again and would give the home more than 5 stars if we could!

My wife and I had a great relaxing stay here. The house is cozy and the beds are super comfortable. Backyard is surrounded by woods which offered privacy. Everything we planned to explore was very close. Matt and Amy are very accommodating and provided some local favorites to dine and explore. We drove to good harbor beach to watch the sunset and yes, it was minutes away. We definitely recommend staying here.
