The Popular amenities section claims this property is on a lake, but it isn't. You have access to a pond, not a lake, about 5 miles away. But if you have to get in your car to drive, you might as well drive to one of the many better lakes in the area. The pond at the rec center is small and looks stagnant.
This was disappointing for us, since we imagined being able to walk with our young niece and dog to a lake. We imagined the convenience of being able to casually walk back to the property to use the bathroom or get snacks. Don't let the description or the photos fool you. This won't be possible.
Apart from that everything else about the property was satisfactory. Nothing exceptional, just satisfactory.

Great location! House was perfect for me and my daughters family including my two grand babies. We really enjoyed the big yard, fire pit and overall stay. The owners were great and respond to all messages right away and are very accessible for any questions or concerns. Would love to come back in the summer time.

We had a great time at this quiet property. A bear stopped in to say high. Went down the Pemi on tubes. We were there for the peak viewing night for the Perseid meteor shower, which put on an amazing show. The property has a great fire pit that we enjoyed each night. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is stocked well enough for cooking.

My son and I had a wonderful stay at this Campton cabin! It was very cozy, comfortable, & private! It was just what we were looking for. My son attended a day camp in the area so the guest pool was a nice treat when he retuned in the evenings. It was also close to I-93 so going on day trips was easy for me to access. When we visit again next summer, I’ll be booking this cabin!
