About this apartment rental
This is a unique and characterful residence situated in one of Londons most desirable addresses. Occupying the top 3 floors of a large and grand house, it contains 5 comfortable double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 spacious and bright reception areas with open fire and kitchen. A balcony leads off the living room onto a large roof terrace with far reaching views over London. It is ideally located to enjoy all the sights of central London, just a stones throw from Oxford St and Marylebone High St.
This much loved family home, has been with the owners for generations retaining many of its original features including some rather beautiful William Morris wallpaper. The main entrance hall is a shared lobby with a private medical practice who occupy the first two floors during working hours only. The entire upper building is the families sole residence and will be rented out in its entirety for your private use. There are 5 double bedrooms available for guests, along with a spacious reception room, bathroom and kitchen which all occupy the top floor of the house. From the balcony leading off the living room there is a winding staircase to take you to the spacious roof garden with stunning views.
The floor below has the laundry room, additional shower and WC and large master bedroom.
There is also an additional kitchen on the apartment entrance floor (an original 1950's design) leading off the library room.
You are welcome to make use of the library room with projector screen and second kitchen should you wish on the lower floor. A couple of rooms on the middle and lower floor will be closed for the families private belongings to be stored. The second kitchen lends itself well should you want to entertain guests, the top kitchen is fully equipped for day to day cooking.
The house contains a wonderful collection of books and artworks and maintains many original features. There are two bathrooms, one which contains a washing machine and drier and shower only. The upstairs bathroom has a roll top bath.
All linens & towels are provided and are professionally laundered.

If you are looking for modern and convenient amenities, or if you do not enjoy antique style furnishings, or have mobility difficulties, we do not think this is the right accommodation for you. There are a lot of stairs within the building.
**We do not recommend allowing children to access the roof garden unaccompanied.
**Longer stays are negotiable.
The entire house is available for your sole use with a private entrance inside the main building. The lobby in the main building is shared with a quiet office spacemon - fri during working hours.
You will have sole use of the apartment but the owners have a few rooms closed for personal belongings to be stored.
