My family and I stayed in this beautiful home this past weekend as we were in town to welcome our newest grandson to this world. The house is just as described and was fully stocked with everything we needed. The location is awesome. We were so close to everything. There was a rolling power outage while we were there ***not the owners fault*** but Rachel was great at keeping us up to date on the status and it only lasted a few hours. All-in-all it was a great place and we would definitely rent again. Highly recommended.

From the moment we walked up to the front gate to experiencing the wonderful Victorian home in Galveston, our expectations were exceeded. The process of registration was flawless, the house was immaculate, the furnishings were tremendous, and the appointments were also fabulous. We so enjoyed our stay! it was a perfect Galveston getaway for our family. We definitely want to come again! The bonus for us was the fenced yard and pet friendly atmosphere for our Golden Doodle.

We loved our stay in this beautiful home! All of the accommodations were perfect for us (4 adults, 2 preschoolers), and all of the house's history and various little nooks provided an ongoing treasure hunt the whole time we were there. Loved walking to the park and to breakfast, and Rachel couldn't have been more responsive and helpful. Hoping we can come back again sometime!

Our family enjoyed our stay in this beautifully restored historical home. The owner has put a lot of thought into the details in terms of furniture, decor, essentials, and historic architectural details inside and outside. Downstairs were 2 full baths, a master king bedroom, and a twin bedroom; and upstairs was 1 full bath, a master king suite that included 2 sleeping alcove rooms (2 twins and 1 twin with trundle).
When the heat index is 100+ in Texas and you just want to chill in a quiet historic bungalow near the beach, this place is perfect for relaxation. It is located in the East End Historical District adjacent to other restored historical homes and near the Strand for dining, retail, visiting art galleries, and other excursion-related fun. It has a screen-enclosed back porch with 4 rockers that overlook an arbor with a table and benches, 2 fountains, and a nicely landscaped, shady backyard. The kitchen is sizable with a table for 6 and a kitchen island, and is adjacent to the dining room which also seated 6. The front porch is equally comfortable with 2 chair swings and 2 chairs. During the latter parts of the afternoon and into early evenings, we ventured out to the nearby beaches on Galveston Island, within a few blocks of this home. Our stay in this home definitely checked a lot of boxes for us and was a pleasant and new experience on Galveston Island!

Check in and out was a breeze. Just a few blocks away from The Strand where there is a lot of things to check out. Property manager was quick to respond to any questions which was huge. Would defiantly stay again!

We had a relaxing time. Enjoyed sitting out on the porches. The beach was fun. My only request would be to have a golf cart to get to the beach and Stand.
