About this house rental
Relaxing home just outside the historic town of Bedford and surrounding communities. Within walking distance to downtown shopping, art galleries, restaurants and much more. Enjoy the knotty pine interior woodwork, all new furnishings and a recreation park just to the rear of the property. A great get-away experience. Please note: Bedford County Fairgrounds & Speedway is approximately one mile away. You will hear some noise on many Friday evenings during racing season. Ask for a schedule. Disclosing a video door bell camera at the front door and a camera in the window above the garage door.

What a lovely home. Warm, welcoming, spotless and full of so many personal touches that made it so comfortable. It's perfect for a girls or couples weekend - hoping to find a reason to come back to Bedford so I stay here again.

We have been to a number of rentals of this type. This has been by far the best experience. It's located down a gravel alley behind some other property. I had some trouble with the lock box but once we got in, we were really impressed.
The house is very cozy with tasteful furnishings and decor. It was immaculate in every corner. (We have been to places where the pictures are nice but find there were spaces they never fixed or even cleaned.)
The lighting was very good with overheads and table lamps and plenty of electrical outlets. The bedding was cotton, thick, and good quality. It was very well stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo, soap, tissues, even snacks. The appliances, plates and flatware were good quality, too. On top of all that, since there'd been snow overnight, we awoke to find someone had shoveled the walkway and around our cars.

My sister and i had a girls weekend. The home was very inviting and cozy. The little details made so much better. It was a fantastic experience!

The house was just as described. Clean, well stocked with kitchenware, linens and toiletries. Ava was very pleasant and great with communication. The house is located down a driveway behind the garage, which made it a little tricky to find when we first arrived at night, but it also made it feel more private being tucked away off the road. Great place to stay!

We have stayed in many, many VRBO accommodations - as well as B&B's, but this was definitely one of the top three!
Clean, spacious, very well stocked throughout the house and especially the kitchen, comfortable furniture - and did I mention CLEAN?!!
A bit confusing finding the house initially, as it sits behind another house with the same address (host's home?), so you have to drive down the side of the front house to the VRBO house. Use your GPS, though, and you'll be OK.
Spent two days here - wish it could have been two weeks!

This was an amazing experience in a quaint, charming town. The property was beyond our expectations. We loved every minute of this trip.

I literally can’t say enough great things about this property! We stayed 3 nights and were impressed with the house from the time we walked in the front door. Charming older house that has been revived and updated. It does not disappoint, and the host is just as awesome as the property they rent out! Always willing to answer any questions and always a quick response! Definitely will be keeping this property in mind when in the area.

This place is fantastic! The cabin is CLEAN, and complete with comfortable beds. I would stay here again, and recommend to anyone traveling in this area.

We came for the Jeep infestation and wanted to be close. This place was perfect, EXTREMELY Clean, decorated beautifully, the host was so kind and easy to reach. It was very quiet here. Right down the street from where we needed to be for our events. I highly recommend this place. I would book again for sure.

Everything was great. Having to stash the key in the “realtors” lockbox was inconvenient in that the key did not fit well in the compartment. Two families really needed two keys. The motion detector that controls the outdoor lights is pointed in the wrong direction. You have to climb the stairs in the dark, in order to activate the motion detector.

House was very clean and had everything we needed for a great weekend. Plenty of space and comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

My family and I were just passing through for 1 night and couldn’t have been happier. The house is right next to a park with a playground so my two small kids were happy. The space was big enough for all of us and was very well maintained. It was at the bottom of a large hill so walking downtown wasn’t an option for us, but other than it was great!

We loved our stay at this cozy home! Communication was quick and easy throughout the process. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked, and there was plenty of space for all six of us. The area around the house is safe and quiet, with easy access to everything in town. It would be a perfect spot for Fall Foliage in October. I highly recommend this property!
