About this house rental

Guest will have access to the entire property with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. This is a cozy house with modern amenities and lots of Natchez Charm. The living room has original pine wood floors and 10 ft ceilings. There is a shower in one bath and jetted tub in the other. Open air back patio and back yard good for any size dog with 6 foot fencing, this is the perfect place to soak up the beautiful tropical climate. Dining area is a corner booth style and has seating for 6. Pet Friendly with 10ft fenced backyard. Perfect for your pet to take a vacation too. This property is centrally located in the heart of downtown. The property was built in the 1920's on what was the site of the blacksmith in old Natchez. This property is 2 blocks from Franklin and Main Street antique shopping, bars, and restaurants, around the corner from King's Tavern, four blocks to Saint Mary's Cathedral, and six Blocks from the River.

I don’t like to complain but this warrants it. If it had been clean it would have been perfect, but it wasn’t. The good news is that the beds were comfortable, but the kitchen was unusable. There was leftover coffee in the coffee pot, half eaten exposed chocolate in the cabinets, an old dirty sponge which was the only way to clean anything in the kitchen, no kitchen cloths, no stopper for the sink, dirty glasses and utensils. The tub and shower and rugs in the bathroom were dirty - we had to clean them first to use them, and the toilets had rings. The checkin was super easy, and I would have loved to have given you 5 stars, but it seriously needs to be cleaned and cleaning supplies with a new sponge should be provided.

Hot water was set so low we could not add any cold & it was just warm enough to manage. We were able to turn it up, so the 2nd night we got a nice hot shower & bath. The issue to get into the house was very stressful. It said we'd get email instructions 3 days before our check in. 2 days before i still had zero info. I sent host message via email, but got no reply. I explained I would NOT be able to get email after noon 19th and called the phone #listed & left a message there too. I spoke to Vrbo Support. They sent her a message, said they'd work on it for me. When we arrived, I called & fortunately she answered 7 brought us the keys. Additionally, I thought I paid for 2 nights, but receipt said 1 night 2 adults. When Host gave me the keys I asked about availability for he 2nd night 7 she said i paid for 2 nights. This was too stressful !!!
